It needs some maintenance as the outer casing is falling apart. We put it back as best as we could.

A year ago we took some friends and spent ages looking for this but to no avail. This time we spotted it very quickly, thanks to some help from the owner. A very clever hide.

14-Jul-13
great place for a hide although very slippery on the way down due to the recent rains. Nice place to bring the kids and dog for an afternoon stroll.
Kids did some swaps and we dropped off a travel bug.

there were lots of muggles around when looking for this one, and while we were trying to look discreet my oldest yells out "Is this it" as he pulled it out of its hiding spot. great work on the hide, love these type of caches.

Had a great afternoon around Anstey Hill with the little ones. It was a good day to do some caches. Took photo as we might do the rest so I now have one clue.

No luck with this one. Not sure if its still there or not but we looked all over the area we thought it should be and couldn't see anything Sad

No luck on this one, it was a beautiful day on Sunday and there were loads of people around. Looked around the area a couple of times and using the clue thinking we had the right spot but it was empty Sad

Well how easy was this one, we aproached GZ and there it was sitting on the bench in full view of everyone. Smile We signed the log and put it where we thought it should go. Great playground for the kids too, had trouble getting them to leave Big Grin

Enjoyed this one but the clue helped alot. Wink
We swapped a few things for the kids.

By looking at the previous logs when we arrived here we had a quick look but couldn't see anything. That was the 3rd did not find for the day so feeling a bit perplexed at this stage. Maybe there is too many muggles around Surprised

Excellent path we had no idea was there until we did this cache. I think when we come again we will bring our bikes so we can ride this. TNLNSL TFTC

None of us are buffy fans so the clue didn't help us. We looked twice and still couldn't find it. We took some friends out to introduce caching and it had us all baffled. We will be back again to have another look next year Smile

We were staying at caravan park and decided to introduce our friends to caching. The little ones had a go with the GPS and once we got them moving in the right direction one of the kids found it. Great spot and our friends are hooked Smile
the finder swapped a keyring for noisy chipmunk. SL TFTC

Well this was an interesting find in a high muggle zone, lucky we had the kids with us who made a great distraction so we could retrieve the cache, make out we were having a snack and then be on our way. Lovely spot as well.

After a day of finding caches in playgrounds when we arrived the little one was dissapointed he could not see any. But when we got closer it was the largest slide he had seen and he had to have a go.
We then went for a stroll along the river and found the cach.
Lovely spot and it was overlooking a cafe, bakery and chicken shop, so we figured it was a perfect spot for the foodie bowl TB.

A great little park for the little ones, almost gave up when I saw a square hole in the ground, thinking it had been muggled. Rechecked with the GPS and discovered it in another area. Almost got caught by a family playing in the playground.

Arrived at GZ to find the playground swarming with muggles. So we decided to play hide and seek with our little one to gain some cover. It worked a treat as we found it without drawing any attention to us. Another great play area for the kids.

Yipee, our first FTF! we took the risk that no one would be out searching in the rain and couldn't believe it when we were greeted with an empty log book when we opened the Cache, This was our first cache for the year, lets hope it's a good omen!!!!!

took dog left dinosaur

24-Dec-09
We had to tackle the wind today and getting sand blasted. Nice easy find though and learnt a bit about the fort.
Took Monkey Left Dinosaur

TFTC

Log book slightly damp, so maybe water getting in.

Approached GZ and noticed how black things were. We could not find anything as it has recently been burnt.
We are not sure but there was an odd piece of melted plastic that could have been the cache.

Eventually found this after a nice stroll along the track. Our GPS was telling us GZ was in the middle of a dead tree!!!
After reading the last log we were not sure if it was still there. It definitely needs some maintenance as the log book was ripped into pieces, and Im not convinced it was in the right spot.

TFTC

Log book needs replacing and the location checked.
