11-Oct-08
[Finally found this one after two previoius attempts.] We had searched everywhere around the fence previously. Very clever clue it took us a while to interpret it correctly we kept looking in the downpipes of the building.

22-Jul-08
Found this one about 7.30pm after work. Along a nice walk we have been on before. We saw a mob of emus between the Highway & the National Park 8 in total from memory. All the Wattle is in Bloom at the moment its a brillant time for a visit. Very Happy

30-Jun-08
found this one with my partner James. It was his first find Smile. Took Ipswich Pin and the following TB's; Happy Cache-o-ween, BYO Pencil, Unite for diabetes, and Jeep.

Nice location we walked there and took the tram home.

22-Jun-08
Great trip around Emerald. However it appears WP6 has been disturbed. Found all other locations without a hitch, but we couldn't find the final container. We found the tree and a rock with plastic underneath but no cache. Looks like a few people might have been drinking there and stumbled upon it and removed it.

21-Apr-06
Attempted this one twice today. But it was overpopulated by muggles all day. Don't even bother attempting this one during school holidays unless its very early in the morning or late evening.

This one started out well WP1 and WP2 proved easy but WP3 proved very difficult the GPS unit continually changed its mind as to how far we were from locating WP3. We had our suscipions as to where it was and searched long and hard around this area but with the poor accuracy of the GSP we decided to try this one again later.

Found WP1 easily although clearly some one either can't spell or ran out of letters. WP2 didn't reveal its self today, we searched for a about 30mins here but were indecisive as to which side of the fence its on although the GPS was convinced it was closer to the M4 than we thought it should logically be we reluctantly climbed through the hole in the fence at which point I knocked my noggin on the top of the hole [B)], to little avail however as we left empty handed. Mostly due to our fear of sticking our hands in long grass and big holes that are most likely home to some of our more dangerous wildlife.

06-Apr-06
This was a nice easy find after a few failed attempts at the orginal castlereagh. Took nothing. Left mask, whistle, keyring, and fish rubber.

Came back for a visit didn't have many swaps with me earlier this week. Took simpsons bottle opener it is really cool!!! Left 2 whistles, 2 pencils, a neopet, and jungle book stickers

Spent 45mins tring to locate 1st waypoint with no luck GPS just kept taking us round in cirlces in the middle of a flat grassed area. A little HELP Please???

Nice spot. Interesting find, the cache container definately blends in with the surroundings. Took nothing, left Olly TB and Asics keyring. SL

Finally found this one. Last couple of times we tried this one we had the GPS set to the wrong mapping datum, we were out by about 200m. TNSL left blinky bill badge.

GPS was out by about 10m but we eventually found it. TNLNSL

Left Deco's 2005 Compass Rose Geocoin #2

Went in to find this one in the dark with torches just before dinner. Found with _aws_ . We took my younger brother along for his first geocaching experience. Took Olly TB, Left Deco's 2005 Compass Rose Geocoin #2. Great hide. There are some really cool things in this cache but it a little low on contents so I plan to go back and put a few extra gifts in.

If your not from this area I reccomend you visit Mamre house on your way back to the M4 or Great Western Highway its located on Mamre Rd just before Banks Dr and the Bridge. They do a nice afternoon tea i've been told.

The Cementary was interesting, but after alot of bush bashing around the waypoint with _aws_ we didn't find it was the final of 0/3 attempts with no luck on our first day of geocahcing. Any advice anyone?

Second cache for the day _AWS_ and I didn't find our first cache. This one seemed quite easy to find, we were quite sure we found the hiddy hole the cache use to rest in however it appears to have been raid by muggles, and no trace of the cache was left behind except for the impression the container had left in its prior resting spot.

Spent a bit of time searching around the first waypoint but couldn't find it.
