11-Mar-12
Easily found the coords but time beat me as I had to run to catch my plane. Thanks anyway.

Nice easy find for my first in Hobart. TFTC

12-Feb-12
Lots of muffles but we grabbed it quick. TFTC

17-Oct-10
Just dropped off Rugby Lion TB. Happy journey.

I was worried that the bike track some kids had made almost running past this might have led to its destruction but thankfully it ws still here.

Cheers,

10-Oct-10
Nice easy cache despite a function going on in the church. I really used this to log Rugby Lion TB through this as it wanted to see some Rugby grounds around the world. TFTC Logged TB in and out.

Nice area and a good hide. TFTC

Absolutely great hide. Had us stumped for a little while and then some muggles turned up. Fortunately the very strong winds and wet conditions meant they didn't stay around long. TFTC Tabmow68

This cache needs some maintenance. The rain of late has gotten in and the paper is wet but still just useable. Also, getting to the end of the roll so not a lot of room left. Tabmow68

03-Oct-10
Nice cache in a lovely spot but watch out for the stinging nettles and other spikey vines. We spent the weekend at Neurum Creek Resort and despite the rain, had a great weekend. After packing up the campers, we went for a quick drive to the cache. There were a few muggles camping at Mt Archer but no troubles. We took the Rugby Lion 2005 TB and left some pencils. Hope to show it a rugby ground before moving it on.

We used this one to introduce some friends to geocaching. They enjoyed it too.

Found with Tonino, Little'un & Mrs after driving down the mine and then back up. It's been a long time since I have been down the mineshaft. I was last here when I was an official for a few Canberra rallies.

14-Nov-08
We came in from the SE corner and came across the "Closed for Revegetation" sign so decided not to enter into the area. Only came across one sign so most people coming in from a different direction wouldn't necessarily see it.

Just dropped in to grab a TB or 2 and a geocoin to show some newbies tonight. Also noticed that the logbook is getting very close to the end.

Tabmow68

Found tonight with no worries.

Found with Tonino + 8 newbies.

Took nothing, left Rosier Times TB

We found the sign and the clue on the back. The sign has been tagged by spray-painters and isn't looking the best. However, the coords on the back are untouched. Now if only I could figure out how to change my GPS over to UTM we might be able to find the cache.

25-May-08
2nd attempt but in daylight this time. Myself, Tonino, Little 'un and Mrs took a nice stroll. Searched for about 5 mins and then found it with the aid of geocacher sign (some slightly disturbed bush). Hopefully I have covered our tracks a little better.

Took details from Proximity card #4 which was thankfully still there and TNLN. Mossies were still pretty bad even despite the cooler weather.

Thanks TGF for a grat puzzle, some help in solving it and for providing a great cache.

11-May-08
With a little help from TGF I got the code out after only a couple of days. However, finding the cache itself at night with the Mrs & 2 little uns was deemed out of the realms. Will try again during the day. We got to within ~100m but that was the edge of the mown grass. After doing the bush bash at They Call Me Bruce earlier, I was not up to another trek.
To quote Arnie, "I'll be back", hopefully before the #4 Proximity card moves on.

Found it relatively easily tonight with Tonino (4.5yr old son). Took: flower cookie cutter, left: pack of stickers.

31-Dec-07
Found this one with Hawk01 but we couldn't open the latch. It appears to have rusted shut.

30-Dec-07
Took Hawk01 to find some TBs to take back to the ACT with him.

13-Sep-07
Mozzies, lots and lots and lots of mozzies. Not sure if even the tropical strength would be enough, might need nuclear strength.
Easy cache to find. Was on its side when I found it which makes it easier to conceal but some moisture from the rain has got in. No water inside but everything a little damp. Replaced it upright and tried to cover as best possible.

Found with Tonino, Mrs & littleun. Easy find, especially with the dry creek making it accessible from either side.

Found with Tonino, Mrs & littleun. We needed to get the kids out of the house for a while and as this was at the end of our street thought we might as well give it a go. Not too hard to find given the clue. Had fun getting into the site with the 3 wheel pram for the littleun. Creek crossings and pathways were not designed for the pram but we had fun anyway.

Took TB, crane toy
Left Croc toy

01-Jul-07
Found with Tonino, mum & bub and TOnino's aunt and uncle. Bit hard to be stealthy but thankfully it is a relatively quiet area.

Had a nice chat to Beau whilst looking.

Took: yoyo, Left: keyring & Red Italian Job TB. Happy trails little guy.

Nice easy cache to find. I was inspired to find this one because of the TB inside. I love Minis so I just had to log the TB.

TFTC Took: Red Italian Job TB Left: Badge

Well I found the remnants really. Thanks to K8'n'Co for sending me the clue that was missing from the muggled cache.

Found today but it had been muggled. I found the container and some papers scattered around the park. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the log book.

There are names for people like you, they may be in the dictionary (maybe only the Macquarie) but I am not repeating them here. Fantastic cache, I loved it, once I had found it. First one in this series found only because it is so close to home.

Went searching with the family just before lunch as it is an easy 1.5km walk from home. Spent over an hour looking around with no luck. Came home and read more of the logs but not that it was much help. Had a good look at the picture and went back this arvo as I realised I was in the wrong spot by a very small amount. My GPSr was giving me a reading about 7m away with a 4m accuracy.

Spent about 30mins searching but was determined not to give up. The bigger tree/bush on the left in the background of the photo was found lying on the ground. I tried to straighten it up (prickly little bugger) and was partly successful but it will most probably blow over again. Another one further over was in the same state. It must have been from the strong winds earlier in the week.

Found this just before cebidae took it away for maintenance. Talk about lucky as we were looking for it just as he arrived. I did this one with a newbie from work.

Nice little park that I never knew was there.

TFTC TNLNSL

Found it reasonably easily but had some muggles appear at the wrong moment. As I stood up with the cache, the builders across the road came out of the construction site. 5pm was not a good time to do this cache as it was their knock-off time. I had to try to look all official, went back to my car and waited until they left, hopefully none the wiser. Just unlucky timing.

Anyway, TFTC. TNLNSL

Like you, I have driven past this site almost daily without really taking any notice. I had found the cache within about 10mins.

TNLTB - please help this little fella achieve his desires.

17-Jun-07
Great view. Funny to see the tram tracks still up there and the road base. All that has been done is remove everything leading up to and beyond this point in history. I didn't realise the gauge for the Brisbane trams was that big, thought they were 3'6" like the trains.

TFTC and a nice day walking beside the river with the family.

15-Jun-07
Found it with Tonino and granddad. Trouble with my GPS up on the downs as it was about 200m out. Found this one via being in general area with coords and then using the clue to pick the right spot.

Took Travel Bug 5ED3G3, Left keyring.

11-Jun-07
Yes the postie has been. Found with Hawk01 and Tonino, my 3.5YO son. Used the old fashion school boy cracking method. The brain wasn't switched in at this stage of the day to work it out. Yet Mrs Tabmow, who was at home with the paperwork that I forgot, told me when we got home what it was, yet she couldn't phone me to tell me.

Excellent Cache. Took: compass for Tonino, Left: Post-It-Notes
