The cache seems gone, I shall replace it as soon as possible. In the meanwhile, since the spot of placement is evident and easy to find, if somebody wants can place a temporarily cache (a 35 mmm canister or similar) with a little logbook, and send me the photo of the placement. I shall accept the log the same. Afterwards I shall replace the "original". La cache sembra andata, la ripristinerò prima possibile. Nef frattempo, poiché il luogo del nascondiglio è evidente e facile da trovare, se qualcuno vuole, può mettere una cache provvisoria (un contenitore da 35 mm o simile) con un piccolo logbook, e mandarmi la foto di dove l'ha messa. Io accetterò lo stesso il ritrovamento. Più avanti ripristinerò l'originale.

Rome - Italy. Old Trajan's Market. I think this is the eldest metamorphosed building I've ever seen! The Market (finished in 112 A.D.) is under a long and accurate restore that will take same years, in the meanwhile the façade of the entrance has been replaced with this great wall!

Dam of the Lake of Bilancino (Florence - Italy). Finished in 2002, with the purpose of supplying of water the cities of Florence and Prato. Sailing, fishing and swimming are allowed but not everywhere, a side of the lake is a protected site for the birds. Surface 5.1 km2, height of the dam 42 mt, max volume 84,000,000 mc, max quote 254 mt. You can visit the site of the lake www.bilancinolagoditoscana.it.

Ponte a Santa Trinita - Florence Italy. Built up by Bartlommeo Ammannati in 1567-1569 to celebrate the victory on the City of Siena. On the four corners of the bridge there are the statues of the four seasons. Destroyed by the german army in 1944 was totally restored using the same stones from the river.
Ponte all'Indiano - Florence Italy. Is the newest bridge of Florence on Arno river, built up on a project of the Architects Montemagni, Sica and De Miranda in 1978, connects the districts of Peretola and Isolotto.

Florence - Italy. The façade of the Palazzo Uffizi (home of the Uffizi Gallery built from 1560 by Giorgio Vasari - 1511/1574) in Florence is decorated with a series of statues in niches. The picture shows Dante Alighieri, but there are also Petrarca, Boccaccio, and many other famous florentine artists (available for other logs). Another statue of Dante is in Piazza Santa Croce, already logged by nicogiorgi with an exhaustive description of life and masterpieces of the Divine Poet.
