Happened to be walking by at 9.55am and decided to treat the kids to this bit of nostalgia on the way to the football. 

We're at the end of our annual sojourn from our 2nd home... Dubai... back to our first home... Tasmania. Due to some tardy booking from me we had to fly in to MEL at 6 from Launceston to fly out at 5am the next day. Great effort from the geokids... decided we wouldn't bother with a hotel and the 2am wake up. Pushing through we're about to head into international. Apologies we didn't quite make it down to GZ as I'm in my thongs Hahaha. 

Took a while... May have needed an extra hint (there was an Ibis involved) but found it eventually in the last place we looked (as per usual). Don't let the hint cause you the trouble it caused us Big shout out to Robbieee for this one. Played a bit of cricket and ran from the plovers. 

We were in Richmond last weekend on our way to Hobart and it reminded me of a similar trip we tooka few years ago... so logging this cache in memory of that time and all the times in between!

We hiked to Meander falls (stunning) and stayed at the Mole Creek Pub after. Grabbed this one after breakfast (in my slippers). TFTC.

I've had this walk on my mind for a while. Surprisingly we didn't do it as kids in our many bush walking adventures. Anyway we headed out today myself, my brother and my 9yo son. There were very nearly some Great Western Tears on the way up, but it was worth it in the end. Now having a few bevvies in the Mole Creek pub and feeling pleased with ourselves. That's the last of our hikes this holiday I think... back to the desert on Thursday

In Hobart for the footy today so the uncles and I brought the kids for their first Salamanca Market visit. We're on summer holidays... back.home in Tas for 8 weeks like we do every year. My 'Tasmanaian'' is my son... born in Ethiopia, raised predominantly in UAE but proudly Tasmanian 

Would just like to say one very happy WC supporter. We're on holiday 'at home' and this is only the 2nd time I've seen my team live. Great win. Love Hobart. 

Very cool find on the way to catch the ferry to WC v NM match. Free ferry provided! 12, 12.30 and 1 for this game. So many muggles didn't write in the log but took a photo of the inside to log. Thanks for this great cache. 

Popped in for a pint after walking to Lobster Falls. This one had been on my to do list for a while as we love the Carrick Inn when we visit Tas. Try the pork salad.... TFTC. 

Smasher of a walk... started this one 2 years back with too many kids in tow so glad to have done it finally. Geobro spotted this one. 

Dropped back here today with some swaps... random coins from our collection. Also wrote in the log. 

This one was a bit trickier with signal decidedly dodgy. Reading the comment about the fallen tree helped. Beautiful falls. TFTCs a great addition to this beautiful walk. 

Came by two weeks ago and had no luck... like another log I went to find 'Reece has Peace' and then I came back and found Patrick too. Bit wet under foot but we desert dwellers even enjoy the storm drains haha. TFTC. 

3 of us had a good look for this today, but I had to log a DNF. 

My daughter loved this! Took a pick but can't share. Paths in KR are slightly frustrating due to being for MB so lots of zig zagging for smaller legs. TFTC.

Sunday morning walk brought this desert dwellers to this bit of Bush. Lived near here for 20 years but never walked through here before. Bit of scrambling and the GPS seemed to shift probable to the trees. Found it in good time. TFTC.

Came for a hit at Splash Golf on a rainy Saturday target's were a DNF and sadly the cache matched. 

Came to Sporties to watch the Chelsea friendly... those less keen on the soccer picked up this cache. No swaps much at present so bring some spares if you can. TFTC.

A great little find as we completed the beautiful headland walk from Greens beach. Dropped a TB but for some reason couldn't pick up the one that was here.
