The Hillcrest Huskies were the biggest football rivals when my wife was in high school! Located in Midvale, Utah.

This was just moved to a new building, and was closed for the holidays, so we weren't able to get the pertinent info on use, etc. We have seen lots of de-commisioned tanks, cars, trucks, etc, and it looks like they are formalizing the display for viewing. Found just west of Tooele, Utah.

We were next door at the Sherman Kendall Beauty school getting the treatment by my sister, who is a student there. Looked outside, and what do we see? They were closed for the holdiay, though. Inside looked just like you imagine it should. Kinda retro, even.

This is the hospital where we always go when we need orthopedic surgery or treatment. Supposed to be one of the best in the valley for that type of work.
Murray, Utah, United States.

I'm not sure this will count, but it was too tempting to pass up. Cache Valley Electric is a local contractor and they put a construction trailer at a job site they are working on just west of the Salt Lake City LDS temple. If you look just above the trailer, you can see the gold Angel Moroni at the top of the spires.

On the way to a TB drop, had to stop and log this. South Salt Lake is a suburb of Salt Lake City, and this tower is in the "industrial" side of the town. Not the prettiest tower around, is it?

I used to come here all the time for lunch, but then our business moved and it was too far away. Beautiful spot during the summer, looks like it's closed in the winter!
West of Salt Lake City, Utah.

On top of our local fire station in Stansbury Park, Tooele County, Utah. There are sirens all over the county, as the Chemical Weapons disposal depot is in Tooele. The sirens warn citizens of chemical weapons spills, and also go off to call out the volunteer fire fighters in the county. They are tested every week. They play a recording when they go off, and a few weeks ago, the "evacuate" recording was played by accident, causing quite a panic. Officials said it was an electronic glitch!

Found this marker by accident while scouting a location for a working water wheel cache. This is the historical Benson Grist Mill, in Tooele County, Utah. Mill has been restored, and is open to tourists in the summer.

No one but me about on this cold and windy day. Well, OK a guy nearby working on his dry docked sailboat. (?!) This park is tucked in the farthest corner of Stansbury Park, Tooele county, Utah, next to the baseball and softball fields.

Our local fire station, staffed by volunteers in Tooele County, Utah. Notice the outdoor warning device on top, as well. (2 caches for the price of one!)

On our way to visit gardens for another cache, and we just happend to see this building on the side of the road. I guess these designs work well for the snow load in Utah. The owner is Ricks Enterprise Corp, and he does sheet metal painting and silkscreening. West side of Salt Lake City, Utah.

This water wheel was re-created as part of a restoration process the Benson Grist Mill in Tooele County, Utah. It is shut off now, as the tourist attraction is closed for winter.
