Quick little detour on my walk Smile TFTC

08-Oct-17
Headed down Burra Road today to pick up some caches with AngelG27. It was great to finally find some caches which I've driven past every day for years!
AngelG27 made this find a lot faster than I did, I was certainly Sleepy at GZ! TFTC Smile

This was the last stop for the day and a tricky one at that. We were very close to giving up especially with the scent of dead kangaroo wafting towards us. Our poking paid off and eventually we managed to extract the cache while swiping away A LOT of spider webs. TFTC Smile

Second find of the day and a very easy one at that. TFTC Smile

AngelG27 made the find on this one, I was a little distracted by the cute little lambs wagging their sweet little tails around the paddock opposite to GZ! TFTC Smile

With the earth cache being our main goal of the day we headed off towards the bridge. The weather was perfect for it, overcast with a cool breeze and not over 25 degrees!!! When we arrived at GZ we were not alone, a couple of guys were skipping stones but being a snow leopard I was able to avoid socialising which AngelG27 took care of >.< AngelG27 also sent in the answers on our behalf. TFTC Smile

AngelG27 had already found this one so I had a little bit of direction thankfully. Although when I was replacing the cache I got a massive fright when something right by my hand moved. It was a tiny little brown frog!! Once I got over the fright I realised how cute the little guardian of the cache was >.< TFTC Smile

AngelG27 had already found this one so I hopped out to quickly find GZ. I had to disturb a couple of sleeping bugs but other than that the cache was an easy grab. TFTC Smile

This was the first cache of the day. Initially we looked in the wrong place but our non-caching companion got impatient and found it for us! TFTC Smile

Heading back down Burra Road we stopped to pick this one up. I needed some help to see what I was doing (I am a small large cat after all!) but we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC Smile

23-Sep-17
This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.

Went for an afternoon walk on a very warm spring day. There's no longer a pony grid at GZ!!! Also cache container is definitely missing, visited with a previous finder. We found the camo but there's nothing in it.

Went for an afternoon walk on a very warm spring day. Logged with permission although the friendly CO may need to replace the cache

17-Sep-17
I can't remember solving this puzzle but it must have been one of my firsts. Took the pupper for a lovely walk on a lovely afternoon by order of AngelG27. Was hoping to find some horseys but no luck unfortunately. On the other hand I had luck with the cache. Had to replace it sneakily as a another friendly pupper with an owner in tow came up to say hello just as I finished signing the log. I had to pat the floofer with one hand and tighten the lid with the other! TFTC AngelG27 and HypoHippo Smile

Headed out with AngelG27 for a quick 30 min drive around on a chilly afternoon. It was especially cold at GZ today, the wind was freezing up there!! TFTC Smile

Headed out with AngelG27 for a quick 30 min drive around on a chilly afternoon. This was the last find of the day on our way back. Headed in completely the wrong direction at first and then doubled back to quickly spot it. Dropped TB. TFTC Smile

Headed out with AngelG27 for a quick 30 min drive around on a chilly afternoon. Luckily AngelG27 was able to retrieve and replace this one for me as I doubt I could have reached it! TFTC Smile

Was in Burra for the weekend so headed out to get a couple of caches while home. Had a long look, found everything but the cache Sad

Headed out during late afternoon to get some caches close to home. This one hadn't been found in a while but it's still in good nick. The area could do with a bit of a mow though! TFTC Smile

Headed out during late afternoon to get some caches close to home while in Burra for the weekend. Had to enlist some help with this one, my sister and I spent a good few minutes searching. The clue can be a little misleading so allow plenty of time to find it. TFTC

Headed out on another lovely Sunday afternoon drive with AngelG27 to pick up a wide variety of caches. I found some puzzles I'd solved, my first multi and my first trackable which was all very exciting. It was a worthwhile trip for AngelG27 too!

This was the first cache I'd come across of this kind so it was very very tricky for me. I needed QUITE a few hints from AngelG27 to find it but finally I spotted something! TFTC specimen X Smile

This was the last find in the series for AngelG27 and the second for me. We were looking for something a lot smaller, so something out of place was spotted pretty quickly. Hopefully I can come back and finish this series soon. TFTC Smile

This solve was pretty straight forward after labouring many hours on Mendel's Peas! However the find was a different matter. After a good few minutes AngelG27 spotted it. So many hiding places to choose from! Also picked up my first TB here. TFTC Smile

Solved this puzzle a little while ago, everything was pretty straight forward except for part A which required a little more research.
This was the last find of the day, we were heading back via this cache and thankfully the gates were open! Initially looked in the wrong place, but spotted another potential GZ soon after. Still needed some help retrieving it though, my paws were certainly not strong enough! TFTC Smile

Heading out to pick up another puzzle in the area, we decided to work through this multi. It was very exciting as it was my first, and it's a great one to do if you are unfamiliar with them as I am. It wasn't where we originally thought but it was soon in hand after a quick drive. TFTC Smile

We were passing by and thought we should drop in and pick this one up. A bit of stealth was required to avoid catching the eyes of a few muggles sitting inside cars but I think we did okay! TFTC Smile

Despite studying genetics at Uni this year, this one took a LOT of trial and error. I finally realised that I had my genetics right and had just misinterpreted the maths at the end. Thank goodness I don't have to study maths or I'd be in trouble >.< !!! So heading out today, this was definitely at the top of our list. I may be a Snow Leopard but I'm certainly not the biggest of the big cats. I was only just able to reach it with my fingertips...I mean paws...! TFTC Fore! Smile

This one required my Snow Leopard climbing skills to get to it after visiting a couple of other caches on the other side of the fence! It was a quick but very entertaining find. TFTC Smile

AngelG27 had already found this one but we were passing by anyway, giving me the opportunity to jump out and have a quick look. I spotted the potential GZ pretty quickly, thanks for the hint and the cache! Smile

The small trek up the hill was certainly worth it for the pretty views. We spotted a potential GZ pretty quickly and we were right! TFTC Smile

19-Aug-17
Headed up Tinderry Road with some friends in the hopes of finding some snow on a cold weekend. Unfortunately there was no snow, but managed to find this cache on the way back so the trip certainly wasn't a waste. The views up at GZ are spectacular, we found ourselves looking at the very snow capped mountains we were chasing! TFTC and a favourite point from me Smile

13-Aug-17
Picked this one up on a quiet Sunday night walk around ANU campus with AngelG27. It was great to venture out of my little science building bubble and get to know more of the campus. Luckily I wasn't so sleepy and was able to zero in quickly. The late hour suited a nocturnal creature like myself, making the find easier with few muggles about Smile TFTC

Might have to come back to have a nap in the tree and admire it properly Razz TFTC!

Picked this one up on a quiet Sunday night around ANU campus with AngelG27. With most of my classes in the building nearby, I've been waiting for a while to get this one but there were always muggles whenever I was walking past! Finally got an opportunity to get it tonight. Thanks to AngelG27 who helped me get the log out and back in, it certainly was a tight squeeze. TFTC Smile

Picked this one up on a quiet Sunday night walk around ANU campus with AngelG27. It was great to venture out and see some of the new uni accommodation - much fancier looking than mine! A little slow to find this one but I soon managed to pounce on it Smile TFTC

06-Aug-17
I've been steadily making my way through the genetic puzzles so I'm especially excited to have finally picked my first one up! Second year into biology courses at Uni, this was a very straight forward solve for me. TNLNSL. Thanks Fore the cache, I'm really loving these genetics puzzles!!! Smile

This geocacher reported that the logbook is full.

Found this one with AngelG27 after a lovely morning at the bus depot markets. My first cache of this kind, I didn't realise what I was looking at even after I picked it up! Log is full so I signed in the margins. TFTC!

04-Aug-17
Living on campus I had to pick this one up as it is basically right on my doorstep! It was a little tricky with so many muggles around especially on a Friday night. Thankfully I had dragged my friend out with me who is a lot better at looking rebellious and uncouth than myself, so the cache was found and replaced without any problems! Razz
TFTC!

29-Jul-17
This was my second ever puzzle cache which I found with assistance from AngelG27. I solved it quite a few months ago now but was very excited to finally pick up my first puzzle caches on a fun and educational afternoon drive. Such a beautiful puzzle, absolutely loved it. TFTC!

This was my very first puzzle cache! I solved it quite a few months ago but only managed to get out to it today on a very fun and educational afternoon with AngelG27. We replaced the soggy log which had completely disintegrated. Thanks for a very exciting first puzzle cache!

This find was a part of a very fun trip around Belconnen with AngelG27. This was my first cache of this kind and I was so confused when I realised I was looking at it >.< thanks for this very educational cache!

Second cache of the afternoon after 6 months of no caching. And it was my first cache of this kind! It was lots of fun and very educational! TFTC and thanks to AngelG27 for taking me!

Very excited to be back caching again, this was my first cache after a 6 month hiatus and it was a perfect choice! Lots of laughs and artistic photos taken by AngelG27 of me getting to GZ made it a really fun, memorable first cache of the day. TFTC Smile

02-Jan-17
First cache on my holiday from Canberra. After such a long drive today, I went for a walk along the beach which was beautiful in the changing lights. Such a clever hide! Very sneaky. Tftc

21-Dec-16
I'll be there to pounce on the food!

Thank you AngelG27 for inviting me it was great fun to meet other cachers and experience the caching community for the first time. The falafels were much appreciated!
