#7741-Having just done the 2 AL's nearby, thomo31 and I plugged in the parking coords for the mega to check out where parking is. As we were sailing past, she spotted this bonus we had just got cords for, so we stopped in the nearby parking for a short stroll and a quick find. Thanks

#7728- FTF @ 5.49 pm with Garks, (now a muggle.)Firstly, congratulations on your first cache. My son and I were heading to Penrith. When we left home, about 2 and a half hours after it was published, I was surprised this had not yet been found. I knew the spot well because of a chirp cache that used to be nearby. We drove almost to GZ. The coords today had me about 10 m away, but it was easily found in an obvious spot. My kids are grown up now, so no Lego miniatures here. So, TN, left a travelbug. Thanks for the cache.

This one had been destroyed- replaced the container, log and pencil. All good now.
While checking this today, for the first time we saw buffalo as well! All good.
Someone had replaced this with a mint tin, but it is now back to the small sistema it should be. New container, log and pen. All good,

#7719- Solved this some time ago, but missed the turn off at the time. Today thomo31 and I were out this way and grabbed it on the way past. Thanks.
#7721- A quick find with thomo31 while out and about. Thanks
#7722- Found with thomo31 while out caching in the area. I love old churches and virtuals too, so this was a double bonus. Also was thomo31's 7000 milestone. Congratulations! Thanks for the virtual- a favourite from me!
#7720- We were doing the AL when we noticed this relatively new one. As thomo31 and I approached GZ, we saw lots of fencing and thought we wouldn't be able to get to it. We were able to reach it today. I like ones like this- the container has lost some of its magnets to hold it together though. May be difficult in future to reach it due to cinstruction. A favourite from me. Thanks

#7711- FTF @ 7.14 am. As I was heading off to bed last night I saw a few new caches pop up, so of course, I took a look to see where they were. The closest wasOh, a cache with my name on it! I still didnt think more of it until I started reading the description and was surprised to be actually reading about myself. wshoeii, a mate of mine had placed this one Just for me. I sat there reading it, tears streaming down my face, memories of my almost 15 years of caching flooding back to me. This was such a sweet and lovely gesture. So, how could I not head out there first thing this morning to find this cache. With the rain having cleared, I woke early today, having had a great nights sleep and hubby, who no longer caches, said hed come for a walk with me.After a false start with the car GPS taking us a valley away, I did a recalculation and headed down Lake Rd, parked the car at the locked gate and we made our way down the fire trail. We were only half a km away at GZ-a spot I had never been to despite living in the mountains for 30 years- with some amazing views across the valley. A short search and the cache was found and the trackackable retrieved to activate. We took in the views and the serenity and headed back home. So blessed to have this wonderful bushso close to home. And a FTF also- something I rarely get these days. Whoo hoo! A favourite from me!This is why I love caching! A recent geocaching post asked what are your geocaching goals? For me, its not about the numbers or filling the grids, its about getting out, doing what you can, pushing yourself to do things within reason, seeing new places, catching up with friends and enjoying yourself. So thanks mate, wshoeii, I appreciate your cache for me and your sentiments. Cheers to many more fun times.

#7804- I had expected today would be busy here. There were a few muggles in cars arriving and leaving nearby, but for a Saturday arvo, it was very quiet. Mid week would be a real issue with the construction fence so close by. As luck had it, I spotted it immediately. Dead easy find no 3 for the arvoThanks
#7703- Today I was looking to grab a few closeosh ones I had missed over the past few months of my mayhem. This was the next on the list. I thought being a Saturday mid arvo, it may be busy. But the gates were closed and the closest fields were empty. I spotted what I thought was the clue from a distance, but as I got closer, realized I was off. What I found was unexpected. 2nd dead easy find for the day. Thanks
#7702- I hadn't noticed this one published as it happened right in the middle of my last 6 months of hell Today I needed to get put, anywhere and figured reading logs that this may not last long so I"d head here first. Glad I did . Dead obvious find. Thanks

#7695- Today I had to pass right by here on my way to an important meeting, so on the way back I stopped to do the earth cache. Having been here a lot growing up, and taking the boys here for picnics growing up, you would think I would have known all about it's history, but I had no idea. There is nothing written anywhere here to indicate anything about it. So I went to the coords, a spot I knew well and looked again. Unlike others who have been here when the waterfalls have been off, I've never been to see it like that. Always running when I 've been here so I knew the general area where to go, even without a GPS.I made a good go at the answers, which to my surprise got a big tick from the CO, very quickly I might add. Photo with signal, and another earth cache for this year's Earth cache day, done. Favourite from me. Thanks

#7693- I had errands to do today and had to be back in Penrith at a certain time. I arrived a bit early so I went to look for this one. At this time of the afternoon, luckily this high muggle area was surprisingly quiet and I was able to stop briefly almost next to it. Having checked out the structure, I decided I had to stoop low to find this, right near the live bin chicken staring me in the face. And I did. Thanks.
#7694- An enjoyable time out with some like minded people, chatting about the obvious and other things, to celebrate the youngen, Gavin turning 20. Some nice food and a very rich cake to top it off. Many happy returns for many more. I think we may have almost converted the Auslan interpreter to our crazy hobby too!Cheers

#7692- a small group headed to Faulconbridge for this years Postcard day. We had chats about caching and other things and signed a large postcard log as well as looking at some Blue Mountains postcards. It was lovely catching up with people we hadnt seen for a while as well as meeting a cacher from Canberra, LuckyL10n for the first time. Thanks to everyone for attending a relatively local event for many of us, and for those who came further, it was great you could come. Cheers

#7687- Now that thomo31 is back from holidays we headed out here to finish the series. Unsure of what we were looking for, I eventually spotted the hint and soon had cache in hand close by. Thanks for a great series. A favourite from me.
