After an appointment nearby i drove to this one and parked the GeoMobile close by.Made my way over and began my search as there were 0-Muggles about... how i like it Once the sneaky hide was found (my smartphone's GPS was out by about 4m), it was soon spotted and the sign of the log book was made at 10:53 on Monday 25 November 2024. Smartphone GPS' aren't all that smart, trust me.With no Muggles anywhere the re-hide was a cinch.TFTC The hunnybunnys

Yesterday, i decided to bus it into town and then out on another to UTAS to the listed co-ords of this new Multicache. I loved the last one i did at the Queens Domain so i knew this one would likely be really good too.I had to wait it out nearby GZ whilst a Muggle couple were right on GZ. After they went i walked over and scanned what i needed and said: "Ok, i will do this scans' requirement back at home and then drive to the final tomorrow".Today, Wednesday 13 November 2024, i drove to the solved co-ords. Rain was threatening as i left home but had stopped when i arrived at a parking spot not too far away. The find was swift and so was my delight as i saw the container (a couple of the round things have dropped off the cache unfortunately) Did the scan-ski thing again and there is where i will pull up stumps on my commentary, as i don't wanna spoil the fun for the next finder. Most definitely a Favorite Point is offloaded here today as i had a ball solving it. I can say i was a bit confused at first but i then a had the "Penny-Drop" moment and the rest was history and i was in and signing the log of a very well made cache with a fantastic idea for the hint to be able to access the log.(Loving these NFC Multi's, Budgietas, they are fun ) Signed the log with the pen provided, with a big Smile on my face, at 10:35 on Wednesday 13 November 2024, then scrambled the locks for the next finder. Thanks for bringing me to this part of Hobart again as it's been a while, due to a small but niggling groin injury preventing me doing my usual Monster walks aaargh!I timed it perfectly today coz barely 15 minutes after i left down it came! {There's a song by Mika for this wet stuff ha ha}.TFTMC Budgietas, i loved it.

Been meaning to get to this one for a while but just kept forgetting (not unusual for me ha ha) so today i jumped to it.Arrived near GZ and was pleased to see it was well hidden well away from Muggle eyes, just as i like it (We Wrens are a very timid creature ) Upon discovery i was all smiles, nice creation indeed. Loved the object at the bottom of the cache. Turns out i didn't need this item today lol, (See Pic attached) as it was all clean here [^]Signed the 'Log' at 10:29 on TGIF 8 November 2024.Thanks, Budgietas for the cache and for luring me out this way again. All is fine and dry within the cache.

In Launceston again for a 2-Dayer of full-on Caching (after bringing a mate up here to grab his car).I have been out of this game for too long due to seven weeks of illness thanks to a chest infection that just wouldn't let go, (I'm so glad it wasn't the "100-Day Cough" i was told about)... anyway enough about the 'Hiatus from Health', so being back at it was such a breath of fresh air and being away from down south and back in Lovely-Launnie was just what The Doctor ordered This one was DNF'd back on 7 May of this year, so it and a few others are to become Yellow Smiley Faces, with some luck of course ha ha Pulled up in the GeoMobile right on GZ and made the find in about a minute [^] Took the cache to the GeoMobile to log it out of Muggle view seeing the car park was beginning to fill, even at 08:30 in the morning (Tradie Utes a plenty). Signed the log at 08:26 on Saturday the 2nd of November 2024.The cache and contents are fine and dry.TFTC Angus88

It was an awesome short cut that made such a difference.Made the quick find of a sneaky cache container with a log that i signed at 12:01 on Sat 2/11/24.TFTC Tas_Geo
Up at Launceston again to bring a mate up to collect his car, i decided to go Caching for the rest of the day b4 booking in, in a popular Cabin Park in Legana. This one was 1st cab off the rank today.I was all at sea with this one early on in the search coz i wasn't thinking laterally .My bad for sure!Quite the clever hide here. It was eventually found (after a long time between drinks caching) so the Rust-Seal of searching was smashed off today!! Ok i think I'm ready to engage in this caper again .. i hope The log was signed at 09:44 on TGIF 1 November 2024, to the sound of kids having fun nearby and a dog that just wouldn't shut up ha ha The cache and contents are fine and dry.TFTC Rahvin2007, Ozjackaroo

Parked nearby and made the find but not straight away as i was so accustomed to finding these hides in the usual hidey hole so when i discovered that this railing didn't have that spot i thought to myself: "ok this might be a bit trickier". It was found not too long after with a nicely crafted cache greeting me.Took the log book to the GeoMobile so i would be more hidden and not so obvious as the Motorist Muggles here are quite abundant.SL at 10:31 on Saturday 2 November 2024.Returned the log book with no Muggles at the time.TFTC Tas_Geo... nice one

This morning that was rectified with a Yellow Smiley as the cache was a quick find in the spot i last checked, i just didn't go in-under far enough then. Today the find was a bit more obvious and the need to fish in under in spiderwebs wasn't necessary.Very happy about getting this one today.Signed the log away from GZ as Joggers and Dog Walking Muggles were abundant.Signed the log @ 08:45 on Saturday 2 November 2024.All is in A1 condition within the cache.Re-hid once all the Muggles had passed by.TFTC and the Puzzle, Ryan00

Up at Launceston again to bring a mate up to collect his car, i decided to go Caching for the rest of the day b4 booking in, in a popular Cabin Park in Legana.Having DNF'd this one back on 8 May 2024, i was hoping to come and turn the Blue face into Yellow.Parked up close by and wandered down to the... log of the solved co-ords.Still, no cache at the end of the log. I started a thorough search in case an animal stole it again. No luck. Back at the GeoMobile, i wasn't in the mood to accept defeat, so i decided to search like never before and at the 'other' end of the log on the river side of it about 2ft from the end, i dug out the old original cache (going by the logs) from the thick weeds. It was in deep but the wee small black box was discovered. The last log was Harrowang's on 5 Jan 2024, [see pic] it was then i knew it was the old cache. The log was dried with the car's AC in Heat mode on full-boar! It was dry within 2 minutes and was signed at 10:38 on TGIF 1 November 2024.I changed the old bag with a new one and added 2 Moisture Munchers with a wee bit of swag. It's ready to go again, but i did hide it where i found it so the CO may wanna just check if this is ok.I'm glad i found the oldie cache and to turn this Frown into a Smile.TFTC and the Puzzle, icybeetas

Wanting to get out and grab me a cache i noticed this new Multi.(Having been not well for about 3 weeks uuugh!, i was very keen to come try this one with NFC technology).Drove in the GeoMobile to the listed co-ords and made my way over to the 1st NFC disc to be scanned. My Smartphone (a Samsung S21 Ultra) was an NFC capable unit so i then made my way to the other 2 then onto the final with no issues. The cache was a quick find and was in A1 condition besides the cache guardian becoming dislodged, it looks like he may have been trying to escape Signed the log at 11:53 on Friday the 13th, of September 2024.Replaced the cache as found and was on my way happy-as!I loved this NFC idea for WP's (Maybe there will be more in the future )A super-cool idea and earns a Fave Point from me.TFTMC Budgietas

6 days since i last grabbed 6 of the hides in this series (Puzzles and Letterboxes) so today was ripe for the picking as the 'Wet Stuff' from above is forecast for the next 3 or so days... lol, we'll see. Rain is usually scarce when it's forecast here in Olde Hobart Town ha ha With the Geomobile moved slightly, seeing i thought i was parked in a bus stop area, even though there was no Bus Stop Pole indicating it, i wasn't gonna push my luck and be fined With that done i set off on foot to this my last one to be found. At The GZ area i was looking here and looking there trying not to alert the beebee's above in the tree to me being there. It wasn't a problem as they weren't Africanized... thankfully , so anyone looking for this one don't be alarmed... they're harmless. It was about 5 or so minutes later when i finally discovered the wee sneaky cute cache container.Signed the dry log on Thursday 15 August 2024.Thanks Budgietas for the fun and many different cache hide and types, it's been a blast doing the lionshare of this cool series [^] (When i sort this cartridge download thing i will return for those Wherigo's) TFTC and the Puzzle, Budgietas

Whilst solving the Puzzles and Letterboxes for the Water Drop Series, i wandered across this one and opened it thinking, "Why not see if i can solve this while i'm at it".I tried this, then that, then i said, "hmmm... i wonder if".3 or so minutes later......I can't believe i solved that on my own, normally i'd get a bit frustrated and just move onto another puzzle. It was then i realized what the hint meant and had to have a laugh to myself thinking; "I needed to solve the puzzle in order to get a hint on the... hint", ha ha Normally a 'Hint' isn't meant to be cryptic, it's a HINT and is meant to help one to solve a puzzle or what not, but anything is cryptic to this wee-blue-birdy brain lol so solving this, literally without the need for the hint is a Double-Win for me so i'll take it Today, on the fine and warm-ish, Tuesday 13 August 2024 on a planned Mega-Walk (to remove a Mega build-up of unwanted calories), this solved puzzle was on the cards for me to grabski. I have lost count of how many times i've walked this path and walked straight past this one each time. There's probably more along this track that i haven't solved yet so i must get cracking on them i guess. At GZ there was no Muggles whatsoever and i was visually shielded so in i went and walked straight up to it, accurate co-ords are the reason for this immediate find... i mean, how could i not find it, gotta love dead-on co-ords [^] Sat myself down and signed my moniker away @ 12:30 on Tuesday 13 August 2024.{Shorts and Tank-Top weather in Winter?... today was one of those Corker Days!} Re-hid the cache with no Muggles in Cooee.I'm Chuffed-As-Bro, after not only solving this clever and most sneaky puzzle then walking straight up to the hide, Gotta Love That!!TFTC and that fun (only coz i solved it quickly ) Puzzle, dencoxclan [All is fine and dry within the cache]

After having solved the puzzle the night before, i went out to Glenorchy on the bus so i could walk to about 5 of these in this series to grab. (Planning to visit a popular Irish Pub beforehand for lunch and a brew i decided to leave the car at home) A longer walk was planned as it was needed and dealing with traffic out there was not going to be an issue now Loving the walk with 'Water' nearby i made my way to the 2nd find for the day.Once at GZ the search was timed right so Muggles weren't present at that time.about a minute later the well hidden cache was in hand and i was SL away from GZ @ 12:17 on TGIF 9 August 2024.A cool but fine day to be out searching for the solved ones so far in this cool series relevant to "Adam's Ale" to which i'm carrying with me for good luck Replaced the hide with no Muggles at the time.TFTC and the Puzzle, Budgietas

(Planning to visit a popular Irish Pub beforehand for lunch and a brew i decided to leave the car at home) A longer walk was planned as it was needed and dealing with traffic out there was not going to be an issue now This was the last cache for me today as i plan to return soon (by Geomobile) to grab the remaining Puzzles and Letterbox Hybrids. Can't do 'em all at once, gotta save some for an even sunnier and warm day, maybe next Tuesday as it's forecast to be 20oC... in Winter! I'll take that anyday! {Expect it to be revised down to a shower or two and 15oC by then lol }Made my way around to the hide, observing the 'Trails' part of the Geocaching map so i don't get lost lol Once at GZ, thanks to deadly accurate co-ords and the hint, the cache was an easy, immediate find. The Camo on the Cache was impressive, one could easily overlook this one, especially with no hint.Sat myself down to a nice view across the waterway and signed the logbook at 13:15 on TGIF 9 August 2024. I didn't have to wander away from GZ here coz i was well covered [^].I have loved doing the 6 i've found (so far) today in this cool series.{Hobart's Water is very high quality and The Cascade Brewery takes full advantage of it, filtering it again and again through charcoal, i believe. To me, Hobart's True / Best tasting water is that from the Disappearing Tarn! [^] [:X]}TFTC and the Puzzle, Budgietas

(Planning to visit a popular Irish Pub beforehand for lunch and a brew i decided to leave the car at home) A longer walk was planned as it was needed and dealing with traffic out there was not going to be an issue now I was on my way to another solved hide in this series but decided to just have a bo-peep at this one that requires a tool (I had a fair idea of what tool type) but was curious anyway. At GZ i noticed something Camo'd just lying there at the tree base. I noticed the round cable attached to the top of the container and realized it's not supposed to be on the ground .Signed the logbook on TGIF 9 August 2024, then looked about for the longest natural tool possible so i could place it back and out of Muggle reach and so that pesky, blowy breeze won't dislodge it again, with any luck. Now..... a tool will be required TFTC and the Puzzle, Budgietas

I love these types of hides coz they rarely get muggled and the log books are dry 95% of the time [^] Signed the log away from GZ a bit, at 12:49 on TGIF 9 August 2024.Re-hid with no Muggles about.{I'm Thoroughly enjoying this series thus far especially all the different Cache and Hide types, Awesome work!}TFTC and the Puzzle, Budgietas

(Planning to visit a popular Irish Pub beforehand for lunch and a brew i decided to leave the car at home) A longer walk was planned as it was needed and dealing with traffic out there was not going to be an issue now After enjoying a lengthy walk between my 2nd find and this one i was kind of hoping, it being a wee bit exposed, would be a quick find, so i just decided to have an inconspicuous look first and let the GPS settle. Once i did i went to what i hoped was GZ. [I would love to elaborate a little on how i found it but i don't wanna give anything away] I have seen these cache types before... some are obvious some are not then there's this one! It sure fooled me for a bit, Nice work! For that and the craftmanship and it's placement it's a Fave Point from me SL away from GZ at 12:42 on TGIF 9 August 2024.Re-hid making sure there were no motorist Muggles and so i didn't look suspicious MDT (Muggle Deception Technique) #1 or is it #2 was used here ha ha.TFTC and the Puzzle, Budgietas

I was in Lauderdale filling up at the BP and decided to go across to this new hide to try my luck. Not a Muggle in cooee when i walked up to this new hide.Found in about 20 seconds, which i was happy about and was smiling upon discovery of it... nicely made indeed Signed the logbook at 14:11 on Sunday 4 August 2024 and replaced as found.Congrats on your 10,000 finds. (It'll be a while before i get there lol) TFTC whitewebbs

Wow, what a cool natural sculpture! I have been past this park many times but never noticed this work of art but as per usual the things and places that Geocaching shows us is always so cool! Thanks for bringing me here (on foot from the bus mall in HBA city) to this cool li'l park... it made for a welcomed bit of exercise and of course the chance to log another Virtual Cache, which is actually my 7777th find 12:06 on Monday 29 July 2024Loved this one, a Favorite Point from me TFT VC vk7hch
After grabbing a most cool Virtual involving a Friendly Park on Mellifont Street, i was on my walk back to Eastlands, but before that i wanted to grab this one. With scaffolding and potential worker Muggles, i thought was gonna be a threat but upon arrival at GZ i saw none whatsoever so i walked up to GZ and thanks to accurate co-ordinates, the cache was found in the 1st place i felt with my roving fingers... i do love it when that happens seeing this spot is somewhat exposed to eyes from above and behind possibly watching so extreme stealth was employed... SO extreme even the FBI would have been envious ha ha Took the booty away from possible Muggles watching and signed the log there in peace at 12:44 on Monday 29 July 2024.Returned the booty with the same stealth and was outta there, but not after enjoying the view of Hobart and of course the obvious Officeworks building lol Thanks for showing me a nice hide in a secluded street not 'Short' on beauty i tells ya , vk7hch I enjoyed this one

With the plan to go to Glenorchy to grab me some new pairs of long pants at a store that starts with ...Big, then (23rd letter of alphabet)i decided to go and grab this cache first seeing it's been ages since i found one.Parked up above the park and wandered in and after a look in the open field (you can see i haven't refreshed the page since... old co-ords lol). I was onto where it would likely be so i wandered over to GZ and made the quick find and sign at 12:20 on Saturday 27 July 2024.Sweet creation, i was smiling upon the find. With no Muggles or yappy dogs i was happy and to be shielded somewhat when signing the log, coz those big black house eyes (windows) were staring at me ha ha. Glad i had my back to them. Thanks for bringing me here to this cool li'l park, that served a purpose for us Geocachers TFTC The_Schnitzels

Yesterday, 2 June 2024, after lunch and finding an awesome Traditional near a popular 'Tip Shop' in Mornington, i traveled down to the listed co-ords of this new Multi, i was excited to see come up on my map. Being a 4-D Star i thought to myself, i will take the Puzzle details home, nut it out back there and go grab once it's solved, be it Monday, Tuesday or however long it takes me to solve it (on my own, ha ha )That night after i had solved it in about 20 minutes, i was excited to go down to grab it the next day.Today, Monday 3 June 2024, i drove down to the lookout carpark which was completely vacant. I was rapt to see that as i literally had the whole, popular spot to myself, which made me feel relaxed re: the search ahead and the potential Muggle disruption. Once i realized the puzzle wasn't too difficult (yesterday, even for me ha ha) i thought i may be in for a challenge in finding this hide today.Once at the solved co-ords i began my search in heavy overcast skies, but dry, surprisingly. It was barely 30 seconds later the cache was in hand. My searching-mindset was correct at the time which was what made the find so quick. "You either find 'em straight up or you don't", sometimes they can take well over 30 mins, luckily for me, today the former was the case, which i'll take given rain was threatening the whole time A cool MultiCache in general. The listed co-ords clues item and then the hide also, typical of the CO to make me smile yet again with their creative brilliance so it's a Favorite Point from me.Re-hid the cache with not a Muggle in Cooee (unless you count the Pacific Gulls, winging it above me, sounding out their 'Laughing' sounding call).Signed the log at 10:48 on the still, drizzly, overcast day of Monday the 3rd of June 2024.Thanks, The Roadies and Tassietan for making my day and for bringing me back to this popular spot to solve and find this MultiCache. {The Jury is still out on which is the most "Laughy-Sounding" bird... the Kookaburra or the Pacific Gull? The latter is cool but i still think the Kookaburra is king}.

I loaded this one not far from home on Thursday 30 May and saw where it was. Knowing what this area is like during the week i said to myself: "I think i'll wait till Sunday arvo to grab this one" Fast 4wd to today, Sunday 2 June 2024, after lunch whilst on my way to the 2nd Chance Reuse Shop, i parked up the GeoMobile close by and made my way over to GZ to make a quick find with no Muggles whatsoever, it was like a Ghost Town at the time i found and re-hid the cache (as i like it). I loved the hide a Fave Point for this one. I don't wanna give a thing away so i'll leave it at that TFTC, SSR and for making my Sunday Arvo ....still smiling about it all the way down to the new Multi at a popular lookout on the South Arm Peninsula

Had a good long, intense search here, even for a 1-D hide.Noticed a reasonably obvious spot where my GPS wanted me but after a thorough search of, in and around the object, no booty was found.Oh well... hoping its just me. It sounds like an awesome container
