Logs for Dagr & Skinfaxi

12-Oct-13
We picked up this cache this morning while on our way to Geocoinfest 2013. There were quite a few cachers already at GZ when we arrived but they hadn't found it yet. Although all the obvious places had already been checked I decided to check one place myself and found it there tucked away. The log book was too wet so we replaced it and signed our names. TFTC and greetings from the UK!

We found this cache this morning while on our way to Geocoinfest 2013. It wasn't exactly where the hint suggested but close enough and still a quick find. We signed the log book and replaced the cache. TFTC!

We completed this one while visiting Sydney at the end of our honeymoon. Although we found it quickly there was a muggle stood right at GZ when we got there. Luckily we managed to move him on by hovering quite close. Once gone we moved in and made a quick retrieval! Signed and replaced, TFTC!

We found this one while visiting Sydney at the end of our honeymoon. It took a minute or two to find before realising we weren't quite in the right place. Once we realised it was a quick find. We haven't come across this style of cache before but being from the UK and now back here it'll be a while before we get to do Entente Oz Final. In the mean time we can try to do the UK one ourselves! TFTC!

A nice hide in a great spot. We found it quite quickly in the second spot we looked. We then signed the log book and replaced the cache before too many muggles appeared! TFTC!

A quick find while visiting Wellington on our honeymoon. Having read the hint I knew exactly where to look as I approached GZ and soon discovered I was right. A nice little spot for a cache and I quickly signed the log book before replacing the cache and heading back down the hill. TFTC!

We completed this one while visiting Hobart on our Honeymoon! We took a tour up here but were faced with cloud when we got here! Still we manged to do a few caches which made up for the lack of view! I was actually stood at GZ without realising it when I switched my GPS on. After that it was a quick find! Signed and replaced! TFTC!

Our first cache in Tasmania! We completed while visiting on our honeymoon! This was a reasonably quick find and we were surprised to see so many TBs inside! We signed the log book and took 3 but decided to not be selfish and only discovered the others before replacing the cache! TFTC!

Found this one while visiting Hobart on our honeymoon! It took a few minutes to spot but managed it eventually!I would have enjoyed the views but there was too much low cloud about! Signed and replaced! TFTC!

We completed this cache while viisting Hobart on our honeymoon! Unfortunately low cloud meant we didn't get much in the way of scenic views fro the top which you'll see in my photo but we still managed a few caches which made up for it! The picture will come but I'll have to wait till we're back in the UK when I can upload a photo and that wont be for another couple of weeks! Hope that's OK? TFTC!

This was a very clever cache which I was surprised to find after only a minute or two. At first we were stumped but after a quick search I spotted something that would fit the hint and after closer inspection had the cache in hand! We signed the log book and replaced the cache before moving on! TFTC it was one of our favourites!

We completed this one having just 'Survived the Edge'! As we got to GZ we were faced with a guy sleeping rough right where we needed to be but luckily he moved on quickly after we got there. After that it was a quick find and we managed to sign the log book and replace the cache quickly before anyone else turned up! TFTC!

We completed this one having just been to the zoo. It was a quick find and we managed to sign and replace the cache without any muggles in sight! TFTC!

We completed this one while visiting Adelaide on our honeymoon. I was pretty sure where I would be looking before I even got to GZ on this one and I was right but it still took me a minute or two to retrieve as there were many muggles about and I tried to remain as stealthy as possible. I eventually achieved it and managed to sign the log book and replace the cache without anyone noticing! TFTC!

This was our first find in Adelaide and South Australia! We completed it while on our way to the zoo! We also had the wrong elevation at first but soon realised and then made a quick find! A lovely area which looked even nicer in the morning sunshine! Signed and replaced! TFTC!

Our 1000th Cache! We finally did it 18 months to the day from our first find! This was a great little spot and we found it quite quickly after reading the hint. It was completed while we were visiting Albany on our honeymoon! Signed and replaced before taking some photos of the area! TFTC!

A brilliant cache! We completed this one while visiting from our cruise ship while on our honeymoon. I wasn't too sure what I was looking for at first but after a minute or two I spotted a likely location and was really pleased to see I was right, not just because I had found it but because it was a very ingenious hide and one of my favourites! Signed and replaced! TFTC!

I found this one while we were on our Honeymoon. We were due to depart on a cruise but due to the Quantas strike we were delayed a day which enabled me to complete this cache! I took the long walk from freemantle while being bugged by flies and eventually made it to GZ. I was preety sure where to look but got a little puzzled at first! Then I saw it. I have done a couple like this before but this was slightly different and better! I loved it! I signed the log book and replaced the cache before admiring the lovely beach. Great view! TFTC!

30-Oct-11
This was our second find today while visiting from the UK on our honeymoon! We'd had a great day out in Freo and decided to try for this one at the end of the day. It was a quick find with no muggles about. We signed the log book and dropped off Scooby Doo - where are you? TB from the UK along with my own TB The Caching Reel to start it's journey! Nice spot and great cache! TFTC!

This was our last fined of the day while on our way back to the station. A great little spot but it took us a minute or two before we finally spotted it! We signed the log book and replaced the cache just as we'd found it. TFTC!

Our first Geocache in Australia! Completed it while on our honeymoon! We had tried a couple nearby but due to the all security from the royal visit we thought it best not to go snooping around too much so we went for this one instead. It was a quick find and we liked the container. We then signed the log book while admiring the view before replacing it and moving on! A great little cache in a really nice spot! TFTC!

This was our second find while honeymooning in Australia and our first of the day! It was the closest cache to our hotel but we didn't attempt it the night before as it was dark. THis morning with light on our side we began our search. After a good look around Skinfaxi soon had the cache to hand! A great little hide and a cool container. We signed the log book and replaced the cache before heading off for the day! TFTC!

15-Feb-11
Completed this one while on the way down to Somerset. It was a cold and wet day and I was in shorts which attracted a few strange looks from the foreign tourists hanging around the entrance. I've used my iPhone for the shot which is both my GPS and my camera so couldn't get it in the shot. I could have waited for a better day to have done this one but didn't know when I'd be next passing! TFTC!

Completed this cache on a very cold and wet February morning! I was glad the road was closed as I didn't get splashed by passing cars on my way to GZ. After obtaining the relevant information and taking a few pics I made a slow jog back to the car to warm up and dry off. TFTC!

29-Jan-11
This was our third cache of the evening and it was nice that it was another cache and dash as it was a very cold night. We found it quickly and retrieved the logbook with our trusty tool. There was no real room left for us to sign so we did our best to fit it in to a small area further up the log. We replaced it back in it's hiding location but the logbook does need replacing. TFTC!

This was our fourth and final cache on this cold January evening. We went straight to the obvious place first without considering the hint. Once we thought about it we realised where we needed to look and soon found it after a brief search! A nice hide in a great location! TFTC!

20-Dec-10
Stood right at GZ and looked it the obvious place but without any luck. Couldn't stay around too long as I had to go. May try again some other time.

An easy find but a very high muggle area. Luckily they all seemed to busy to notice me or what I was up to. TFTC!

First find of the day on this very cold morning. Nice, quick start to the day with no muggles around to disrupt it! TFTC!

A quick find but not easy due to the high amount of muggles. I managed to complete it while being as stealthy as possible. TFTC!

This one took a few minutes before I spotted it. It also wasn't helped by the high muggle activity at GZ. However I managed to retieve and replace it successfully and without drawing too much attention to myself TFTC!

A quick find and even managed to complete it without attracting the attention of a truck driving muggle who was having his lunch right opposite GZ! TFTC!

Spotted this one as I approached GZ. A quick signature before replacing it. TFTC!

A quick find and my second of the day. Had to wait for the right time to retrieve and replace it due to muggles in the area! TFTC!

A quick find but a fiddly retrieve due to not having small enough fingers. Got it eventually! TFTC!

Stood at GZ but couldn't find it. Could only look for about 10 mins so will have to try again some other time.

A nice spot and somewhere I've never visited and didn't know was there! TFTC!

Again another place I haven't been to before and therefore didn't know existed! TFTC!

Went straight for the most obvious place and found it straight away. Signed and replaced.....eventually! TFTC!
