Logs for DanSanHai
22-Sep-24
I like pie. I also liked the walk out to this cache with team DanSanHai. We started at Bullocky's Rest and went for a bush walk, stopping along the way for a snack, which was not pie, unfortunately. Noting this cache was nearby, we decided to walk just a little further for an easy find as promised. Saw a couple of kangaroos enjoying the nice weather too. TFTC.

FTF 20/07/24 10:45PMChores done, pyjamas on, now time to relax and check my phone. A new cache alert! And I know where it is! But I'm in my PJs, and I have dessert ... ok I'll just read more about it.After reading the cache description (and finishing dessert), I realised that there's still no logs. Maybe I will go and suss it out after all. So I did (after putting on more caching appropriate pants). Noting the attributes, and taking the recommendations as a challenge, I decided it was achievable.I took my first approach, and disturbed an unseen neighbour in a tree. Sorry! I adjusted my approach and got very close, and with a little more looking I spotted it! Soon after I had the horcrux in my hand (don't worry, I haven't destroyed this one). Fresh log signed for my very first FTF. and a FP for the honours. TFTC mugglemum10

Made a welcome return to this park to grab this cache after visiting a few days earlier, sadly without reception or coordinates. A great place for Team DanSanHai to relax and play. With coordinates in hand, we located the cache easily, before refuelling and heading off again. TFTC and for bringing us here youngoldfella.
Continuing to explore Woodgate Beach. Parked nearby and made a short walk to GZ, where the cache was found safe and sound in the logical location. TFTC.
03-Jul-24
Exploring Woodgate Beach this afternoon for a nice walk and an enjoyable sunset. Took a detour for this nearby cache. Quick and easy to locate, yet well hidden. TFTC.
02-Jul-24
The rain changed plans for today, so went to explore the area instead. Decided to check the map to see if there were any caches nearby, and I made the short drive to this cache. Spent some time searching GZ in what seemed like the obvious locations, and was about to give up, when I changed my approach and located the cache container a little higher than expected. Signed and returned. TFTC.
19-Aug-23
Out for a drive with team DanSanHai this afternoon and was in the mood for a quick cache. I'd never been to this location before - the_eths is right, it just screams cache location. I parked at the waypoint, walked to gz after waiting for some muggles to clear, and was happy to find the cache was fairly accessible. Pleased to visit here today, TFTC.
12-Jul-23
I was looking at nearby caches last night when I came across this one. I checked out the logs to see cacher comments - empty! It's a new cache! I headed out at my first opportunity this morning to find it - a nice and quick solve and a nice little area to discover, thanks tuppens for bringing me here. Congrats chamad on FTF. TFTC.
24-May-23
Came back to this location armed with a pen, after having previously solved this, and spotted the cache about a week ago. Now able to sign, team DanSanHai retrieve and signed the cache. TFTC.
Team DanSanHai found this one after some time spent on visual inspection and reading the logs. One member of the team commented, "I don't really want to go and stick my hand in random places", to which I replied, "That's half of geocaching!" A great little cache hide, thank you for bringing us here the_eths. TFTC.
06-Nov-22
Checked on GZ today and noted the cache location was clear of any fallen debris, but with plenty of new vegetation growth. Yet another amazing landscape transformation after heavy rainfall. As always, be safe and enjoy.
03-Jul-22
Found with guidance from millzorz and geostubs. A few issues with a wayward compass, but a hint from The Doctor sent me to the right location. TFTC!
01-Jul-22
I've had this one in mind for some time but never able to go grab it. Finally had a chance to go make the find, with assistance from millzorz and geostubs. A nice cache in a popular area. TFTC.

Thanks Ngaambul for the review note. This cache has been affected by a number of severe weather events, between which we were able to retrieve the weathered components and complete the necessary repairs.
We have been monitoring the cache site, which until recently, access to the cache remained unsafe due to the changed landscape, and the local council is yet to clean up the fallen debris in the area.
Today I have been able to access, clean and replace the container in its original position with alternative approaches available - I will confirm whether a change in terrain rating is required.
The Shamrock is now gladly back in position and ready to find. Good luck!

Maintenance required following recent storms. Cache will be reactivated when maintenance has been completed.
29-Dec-21
Visiting the area and decided to find some caches with team DanSanHai. After reading about the history, we went went on the hunt and found the cache after searching high and low. Initials scrawled on the full page and went on our way. Also took the opportunity to take some photos on the beach. TFTC.
Whilst staying in the area, team DanSanHai took the opportunity to go for a walk and was happy to discover this waking trail we did not know about. Found GZ and looked in all the wrong places before finding the cache. A good sized cache. Thanks for taking us here. TFTC.
21-Nov-21
Thanks for bringing us here. Team DanSanHi enjoyed discovering this area and the cache. Also learnt about the tree with the blue fruit with a quick image search. TFTC.
We were initially unsure of the approach to this cache but once at GZ team DanSanHai was on the hunt and had a look in a few places. Once found, I had to laugh as this one had me fooled, so a FP from me. A great Father's Day gift. TFTC.
Out for some quick caching with team DanSanHai. At first I was confused by the coordinates but soon changed my approach and spotted the container - very clever. With a bit of stealth the log was signed and replaced. TFTC.
06-Nov-21
On an outing with Millzorz in the area, so came to find this cache which Mizzorz had already pieced together. Container had water but log was dry. TFTC.
31-Oct-21
Out exploring the walks here today. After a nice walk from my starting location, I approached GZ, and spotted the cache quickly. With an eagerness to see what the challenge was I retrieved the cache with other means (other tools gathered from the area), only to realise what the initial challenge was (clearly not on the ball today). I signed the log and replaced the cache, then hunted around for the other tool briefly, but couldn't find it. I haven't seen this type of cache before and I enjoyed the idea. TFTC.
I saw this one pop up recently, and enjoyed reading the history lesson. I had not planned on going to grab this but was in the area tonight, so how could I not? I approached GZ and had a quick find. TFTC!

Came here today for a quick stroll and morning tea with team DanSanHai, but really came here to grab a cache. Chose a nice quiet time with no muggles in sight, so found quickly, signed and returned. All is well with the cache after the recent rains, the creek is very full though. TFTC!
10-Oct-21
I've been to the parklands many times, but I guess there were areas I haven't 'seen' until today. Thanks for the interesting read and history lesson. Info gathered with Millzorz, for what is my first EC. TFTC!
03-Oct-21
Had plans to be in the area today so I had a look at this puzzle and plotted out a few coords, but ran out of time to look at it further. I met with Millzorz later on, who helped me out and, let's be honest, did the heavy lifting. With Millzorz searching and me on Muggle watch, we soon came up with the goods. TFTC.
02-Oct-21
I was in the park this morning with the family and saw there were a couple of caches waiting for me to find them. I came back in the afternoon when it was quieter and made a nice quick find. TFTC.
A couple of months ago I was told about this cache by Millzorz after finding it. I was in the area not long after for lunch, and I managed to find the cache, however was unable to open it due to high muggle presence.
Today I was back here for lunch and I arrived with a few minutes to spare. Keen to find this one, I parked near GZ, put on my cloak of invisibility, quickly found a space to sign my name and returned the cache as found. TFTC, the first of this kind of container for me - accio FP.

I visited the park this morning with family, and returned this afternoon to find some caches. A sneaky hide in plain sight. All is well with the cache after the recent rain. TFTC.
I have been aware of this cache for a while now, and acknowledge the location every time I drive past. Finally got to stop and grab it today while in the area. Given the location and cache size I was pretty sure I knew what I was looking for. Sure enough after a bit of inspecting I was successful. A nice hide, TFTC Lucy.
27-Sep-21
Have been wanting to grab this one for a while now. Finally had the chance for a quick outing. Found where it seemed most logical after reading previous logs. My gps was not helpful here. TFTC.
11-Sep-21
Continued the night caches with Millzorz. After parking about as far away as possible from the cache, we had the opportunity to play spotlight with some local flying foxes as we approached GZ. I happened to note a few points of interest, before starting to search high and low - unsuccessfully. After a bit of thought though, I reconsidered my approach, and claimed a successful find. TFTC!
Out and about with Millzorz for some night caches. Found a stash of entertainment along the way (don't stray too far kids). Soon enough Millzorz spotted the cache in a nice little hide, we signed the log and off we went. TFTC.
23-Aug-21
Found tonight for a quick grab while out with Millzorz. Plenty of people about so a bit of stealth required. Nice to end a Monday with a cache. TFTC
19-Aug-21
Daily drives across the bridge give me ample opportunities to see the views, but rarely have I walked across and seen it properly. Thanks to Millzorz I had the chance while in the area this evening. TFTC.
10-Jul-21
I solved this one when it was fairly new, and have had it sitting, waiting on my map for some time. I've travelled past it multiple times too, so when in the area with Millzorz, it was time to find it.
The log was wet but luckily was able to sign it. Thanks for teaching me more about drumming Willis007. TFTC

In the area with Millzorz today, so took the opportunity to find this cache which I solved a while back. All is well and good with this cache. Thanks for some more drumming education Willis007. TFTC
19-Jun-21
Another biking adventure with Millzorz brought us to a great little playground and my first cache of this size. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC.
17-Jun-21
Found with Millzorz for some fun night caching adventures. TFTC.
Came here with Millzorz to continue the night cache adventure and to tick this one off my list after having solved it not too long ago. I almost gave up but I located the cache which, was nicely hidden, dried the log and signed. I noted the cache was once a field puzzle, but now sadly easily opened. Still, a fun search for the cache. TFTC.
Out for some more night caches. This one took some persistence, however Millzorz spotted the cache, and we signed the log. Saw some night critters, and a kind muggle even offered us his torch - thank you. TFTC.
14-Jun-21
A cache recommended by Millzorz to complete for my first virtual cache. Some great history and a laugh too. TFTC.
05-Jun-21
Sadly no luck with this cache today, with Millzorz and I looking all over for this one. DNF for today, a challenge for another day.
Out with Millzorz for a geobike adventure. Some circus skills came in handy here, but unnecessary for me in the end. A cool hiding place. TFTC.
Out on a geobike adventure with Millzorz. And what is a bike ride without good snacks - thanks Millzorz! Signed the log, enjoyed a nice day out, and headed onwards to the next location. TFTC.
On a geobike adventure with Millzorz, this was the first of a few finds. I'll admit I sat back and let Millzorz do all the work for this one, apart from some fine pen throwing on my part. A great day for caching, TFTC.
