2nd attempt after reassurance from PEOK that the cache is indeed still there haha. After more perseverance I managed to find it. Well hidden indeed

I found the cache along with a family of cockroaches which was a particularly unfortunate bonus prize
Couldn't find it. Though as it's a deserted area I'm sure it's here somewhere

Helpful description as my GPS was bouncing around at this spot.
Very sneaky. Poking around with a stick is what helped me eventually find it. The log was wet but still could write on it
The cluster of geocaches drew me in to run through Kepa reserve instead of along Tamaki Drive. Perfect location for running on a hot summers day
Detailed description was very helpful as my GPS struggled under the canopy

Searched in quite a few different spots. The hint confused me even more. Unless we're supposed to be down on the tracks?
Nicely hidden. Was really confused about the hint but when I got it, it was quite satisfying
Found surprisingly quick. No trains around but it's a nice spot

I thought I had been to every nook and cranny of Whanganui but I didn't know this area existed!
Luckily no one was walking along the path to see the madman scrabbling around in the long grass. Eventually I found success.
No luck. I'll try again once I've got a bit more experience geocaching
The Pohutukawa were looking magnificent today. Nice spot for it
