Hint confused us slightly, but GZ pretty much on point and with attention to detail it was found pretty easily. Great find and persistence to get up here by Miss 12.

Our first virtual cache! What amazing stories your grandfather must have been able to tell. We have visited many lighthouses around NZ and have always admired the courageous and hardworking families that lived and ran the lighthouses. Unfortunately no views of the mountain today on this wet and windy day. 

Found it! Late afternoon before getting dark on a long day exploring the Forgotten Highway. Nice to have picked this one up before heading back to our accommodation for the evening 

Our 150th cache! Dad and Miss 12 found this one quite easily on this wet and windy day while exploring the Taranaki during the school holidays

Great cache in a really interesting spot. Weather was pretty horrible today but we got out here as part of our school holiday adventure of the Taranaki. Thank you for the hide. 

Spending the long weekend for the Kings First birthday right opposite at the fantastic Opononi Lighthouse Motel. What a beautiful spot by the water! While hubby was fishing we took the opportunity to go go caching. Master 14 found this one quite easily with his agility climbing on the rocks! Thank you for the cache!

Exploring the top of the South Island for the school holidays and today explored Nelson. What a beautiful spot it is here. Cache not quite as per the hint, but Master 14 found it after not too much searching. Thank you. 

Driving over the Takaka Hill we decided to stop at the lookout. Decision well worth it, wow what a view!! A quick geocache also and master 14 was quick to explore and found it. Unfortunately we forgot a pen, so hopefully you will accept photo as proof that we found it.

Spending the school holidays exploring the top of the South Island all the way from Auckland. Our first geocache on this trip, found by master 14. Cache needs maintenance as the log book is wet and could not write on it. Beautiful spot!

We came from the Wenderholm side, along the perimeter walk. What a beautiful spot and I had never seen Waiwera from this angle before. Unfortunately did not find the cache. 

Spending the weekend camping here and was about to start the perimeter walk. Great find to start off the day. 

A quick find by Master 13 today. Beautiful to be in the shade of the trees on this hot day! Thank you for the cache.

Another easy find by Master 13! He was pretty chuffed! Yay nearly to have reached where we started the perimeter walk! It was a hot day for it. 

Did not find unfortunately, but we were slightly distracted and could not give it enough time. Hopefully next time. 

Finally a find for Miss 11 (with dads help). What a clever hide! Love the effort and creativity. Back at the campground entrance after the perimeter walk.

First one found on your trail, hopefully we will find some more in our journey during these school holidays. What a beautiful place and no rain today! This cache needs maintenance. Log book is wet and ruined.

Thank you for taking us further into the forest! Just completed the Tree Top walk and a great chance to add a cache to our finds during the school holidays. 

Fantastic, clever hide! Kids are getting very inspired to hide our own back home! Master 13 was slightly off at first and I made him get off the train tracks before realising that trains haven’t been along here for a long time! After that, it was a quick find after a lunch stop in the area while holidaying during the school holidays. 

Found it yesterday but had wifi issues while travelling with our caravan during the school holidays. Master 13 found this one quite easily! Headed straight for it and there it was! Thank you for the hide. 

Thank you for the cache. Always love these clever hides. In Rotorua with our caravan over the school holidays and stopped here for some lunch. Cache was slightly wet and log book is full. 

Found it yesterday but had wifi issues while travelling with our caravan during the school holidays. Miss 10 was very happy to find this one herself after her brother had found the last few. What a beautiful spot Raglan is! Our first visit here and we will be back, just a quick day visit this time round. 

Lovely walk with the family before the rain started again. Good find by Master 13 although not as per the hint. The cache also needs some attention as everything was soaked. 

Found it yesterday but had wifi issues while travelling with our caravan during the school holidays. In between lots of muggles coming down and looking at the falls, we finally had a chance to find it. Master 13 struggled slightly at first but rereading the hint and some guidance found this cache! Thank you very much, fantastic hide and AMAZING waterfall! 

Found it yesterday but had wifi issues while travelling with our caravan during the school holidays. After having found the last cache by herself, Miss 10 was very motivated to keep up the finds! She headed into the bushes herself and after first checking out the wrong tree quickly found it.
Afterwards we enjoyed the beautiful sunset with a drink on the benches nearby. Beautiful spot!
