Arfur and kids and G1 found this on a pleasant afternoon stroll. It turns out that we have ridden past this cache dozens of times, without even knowing it was placed! Very pretty spot, but it could do with some rain. Cache intact. Took nothing and left nothing, just enjoyed the activity of caching.

Given the tardiness of todays modern spies, G1 and Arfur have come out of geocaching retirement to save the world from being turned into a kewpie doll.
We made our entrance in Max's time honoured manner. Stooping to answer the pesky shoephone, we discovered the Central clue was 8.
Off to meet at the cone of silence...

Cache archived and physically removed 22 Sep 02. This was almost too easy to find! We'll set another soon.

G1, Arfa and Stawg found it, in the dark (just minutes to midnight. Went very close several times before it's position was apparent. Great pressies Snifter! Put in a few goodies, took the idiot's puzzle (an all yellow rubiks cube!). Another beaut spot, wonder what it looks like in daylight?
17-Aug-01
Great spot Snifter. Must have been minutes behind Tangles finding this cache. Your warnings about watching overhead were very appropriate in the 100km/h gusts of the morning. Found it without much trouble and swapped some things as usual (now there is a glass geofishy for someone's fish tank). Didn't have time to get to Bucket, maybe next weekend. G1
16-Aug-01
Leaving the home of power , via a circuituous sea voyage hidden in a wooden monkey, we finally unearthed and screwed (unscrewed?) the Delrin . To continue the Odyssey we now seek the evil genius . Having been dipped in the river Styx,G1 and Arfur are invincible. Onward to Troy and victory.
14-Aug-01
We stumbled around in the dark for over an hour to find this, and were contemplating using the nearby landmark as many have before us for a quick leap, when we triangulated just one more time, and bingo! Did the usual swapping thing, and headed off to i4 metro. We must stop looking for these things at night in the bush...

G1 and Arfa found it on the way home from Go Jump (stumbling around in the dark!). Good fun staying inconspicuous (we hope we were inconspicuous, but how do you look at a GPS without being inconspicuous?). Took the 64MB pretend memory chip and the dot, and placed some geomarbles and a glass geoprawn. Careful whoever is there next, it is easily broken. Well placed Ideology (or should that be Technideas?)

G1 found it while pretending to eat lunch parked very nearby. Took nothing, left a pair of glasses. Well done Chaos. Just wish you hadn't found i5 first!
21-Jul-01
Well, since I found the Freddos, I reckon I definitely should log this as a find. Well done cachers all. When is the next one (a weekend away somewhere?...). And watch out for one of the G-men in a cache near you (next weekend when I start putting them around anyway). G1
18-Jul-01
G1 is trying to get there. Just depends on instructions from Mrs G1... Also trying to get at least one of the Arthurs along. Who's doing the cooking?
06-Jul-01
It took us two trips to find this, since we had to run off on kid duties in the morning! This is the best concealment of a cache that we have seen to date. Well done Chaos. Once we found the cache, it turned out that we lost our pen, so our log entry is in charcoal. Oh yes, we met one of the Ideologues in the morning session, it is good to see that there are others out there searching on hands and knees! Added a cabcharge phone number list, just in case you need help getting home G1 and the Arthurs
30-Jun-01
The Arfers (Arfer Wake, Arfer Minute, Arfer Sleep), G1 and assorted kids found it after taking Ideology's Magical Mystery Tour around the site. Good fun, and there were no injuries from arrows! Kids took and replaced a few things, as they love to do. G1 left 2 magical geocaching marbles. Note to Ideology: The log book is getting full, only one page untouched. Sorry, we didn't have a spare to replace it for you.

G1 and the Arthurs found it!
This is the first cache we have sought and we found it pretty easily, thanks to the twin trunk clue and some patience. Kids had a great time shuffling through the contents, they took a party popper and we left some coins. Well placed and so close to suburbia, but no-one else knows it is there (not even the scouts working on the entrance to the scout hall!)

Cachers - from G1
I seem to have a hassle with my gps, which is always run in WGS84 lat and long and works just fine when I use it for navigation while flying. From the logs and conversation with Nomads, it looks like the quoted coordinates are in AUS66, not WGS84 as intended, there must be a setting on my gps that I don't yet understand My fault. (The difference between AUS66 and WGS84 are unnoticeable from the air.)
Does anyone live close enough to Westerfolds to try again with the AUS66 co-ords? Sorry for the hassle, the cache really is up the hill from the
bridge that has been described (with a bit of a bushbash), else much easier to get in from the top
of the hill via the track down from picnic table and benches as described.
Apologies again, trying our best to get involved in something new and exciting.
