Logs for Jelsh

07-Apr-23
Mr S and Miss L found the cache easily. It was out in the open so we left it in a little of a conspicuous spot. TFTC

21-Apr-22
Quiet little spot. Easy find. TFTC

17-Apr-22
A very clever cache and the perfect clue. As I sat and pondered the muggles around and wondering where to begin, “inspiration “ revealed itself and it ended up being an easy find.
TFTC, a favourite point from JELSH.

Easy find while walking around the lake. Signed the brand new log. Easter Sunday so no muggles around! Tftc

12-Apr-22
Quick find dad spotted it at our local park TFTC

10-Apr-22
Sorry, this one had us beat. Where we thought it would be is just full of wet rubbish.
Felt every nook and cranny inside and out. Nothing, zilch, a duck.

09-Apr-22
After a belly full of ice cream we thought we’d see what’s around. One across the road! Found it easily and in the dark. TFTC

A peaceful spot to reflect. Easy find for the kids. TFTC

Easy find for mr 14. The log is still full but we squeezed our name there. TFTC

Wow! Lucky this place is like a ghost town today as little miss 10 excitedly shouted “found it!!”
TFTC.

Found it on the floor, we have hopefully secured it better, easy find tftc

08-Apr-22
On holidays and it’s a very windy day today so geocaching was a good substitute for a boat trip. A nice quick find thanks to the clue.

After not caching for a long time we were happy to find our 3rd quick find of the day. Perfect spot for this hidden little gem.
TFTC

Jelsh are back! First find in quite a little while. On a holiday in Hervey Bay when the motivation to get back in the game overtook us. TFTC and hopefully this is the first of many more to come

04-May-20
First outing since restrictions were lifted. Easy find as the smallest Jelsh member found it. The log is full and needs replacing. Sorry we didn’t have a spare one. TFT

09-Jun-19
Spot on co-ords. Out with another team. Tftc

13-Jan-19
After finding a cache at Kinki Cemetery while visiting my uncles’ graves and unexpectedly finding a cache at my Aunty’s property in Yarrahapinni this morning, we headed to Eungai Cemetery to visit my Grandparents’ and Great-Grandparents’ graves.
Low and behold there is a cache at Eungai too!!
My husband walked towards the cache while I walked towards my grandparents.....we were both heading to the same spot!!
Cache was a quick find very close to the graves we were visiting.
TFTC and thanks for making our trip to the Cemetery (while on holidays) more exciting for my kids.

Went to visit my Great Aunty while my husband searched for a cache at the church.
Aunty Audrey asked where my husband was and when I told her she replied ‘Oh, well you’d better come and find this one!’ She took me up through her paddock and showed me where it was!
So, a very easy find for us this morning. My Aunty had found it while searching for a snake that was hanging around one day. Her great-grandkids think it’s awesome!! I love that my 85 year old Aunty knows about caching!

12-Jan-19
On holidays visiting Geo-Mum’s home town (Kempsey) and came to Kinki to visit Uncle Alwyn Whalen and Uncle Ken Rogers graves.

Great distraction for the kids to find a cache out here.

TFTC

Down here on holidays to Geo-Mum’s home town (Kempsey) and family area (Yarrahapinni).
Took the kids for a walk across the bridge and thought it’d be a great place for a caches so had a look.
Clue was perfect on a hot summers day for a quick find.

09-Jan-19
The littlest member of JELSH found this one. Nice spot to stop and stretch! Tftc

29-Dec-18
Great day out swimming at the Cedar Creek Rock pools but no service for caching. Thought we’d stop in at the Store of Requirement on our way home and were excited to discover a cache there.
Luckily only Witches and Wizards around and no Muggles as Geokid shouted ‘we found it!’ very loudly.
Awesome cache in a great spot. Easy to find due to size. Signed log and left a JELSH pathtag.

This cache gets stolen time and time again. Unfortunately it has been one too many times. Where the cache is, seems to be a spot where people hide things for more nefarious purposes. As much as I like the view and the ease at which most cachers can find the cache, it may be best to steer clear of this area after hours.

14-Aug-18
Muggle city in the car park but all good. Tftc

02-Jul-18
Great spot! Thought we’d sneak this one in while dropping a geo kid to basketball. Reaching in to find it was a gamble but all was well. Tftc

14-Jun-18
I Love trying to find these types of caches. The coordinates are dead on. Fantastic views. Tftc

Here in Esperance for work so thought I’d step out into the rainy day and find a cache or 2. This one is mouldy and wet and needs attention. Coordinates are accurate. Tftc

20-Jan-18
Great spot and easy find tftc

31-Dec-17
Found on the way to Brisbane. Great spot and spot on co-it’s tftc

30-Dec-17
Found it but with the rubbish, ants and loose rocks it’s a terrible place! The kids fell on the rocks we had tears,

Heading east and picking up a couple as we go. Great clue, very clever. Tftc

Easy find, spot on co-ords, tftc

24-Dec-17
A spot of caching on Christmas Eve. Whole Jelsh team put and about tftc

23-Dec-17
Nice quiet spot and easy find. The log needs replacing as it looks burnt and the pages are stuck together. Didn’t have one on me sorry. Tftc

Looked everywhere. Found spiders and webs and not much else

19-Dec-17
Clever hide and lovely view. Found it on the way back to Perth. Tftc

Nice little spot for a cache. Easy find for our 9yo. Tftc

Quick and easy find on the way to Perth. Still a few spots scattered in the book to sign but is pretty full.
Tftc

The Jelsh team travelling from Jurien bay decided to find a few caches on the way. Found this one a couple of metres in the open from 0m. Assuming the wind has blown it out of its hiding we placed it back to its presumed spot

02-Dec-17
Ok, just checked it again. It’s there...

04-Nov-17
Someone has nicked this cache 3 times now. I will replace it one more time. If it goes again. I will have to disable it.

28-Sep-17
First find in a long time with the full JELSH team.
Took a good ten minutes but the clue was helpful.
Very, very hot day but a stunning place to stop and find a cache. We've never been to an outdoor cathedral before and so pleased we had to opportunity to stop here.

04-Feb-17
Looked for ages. A cache that big (judging by photos) has to have been muggled

Our first cache since moving to Brisbane 7 weeks ago.
Came for a picnic with family and thought we'd check for caches. Happened to be 2m away. Took a good 15 minutes to find it but were happy with our success!
Nicely hidden but achievable.
Thanks for the cache!

21-Dec-16
Sorry I don't think it's here anymore DNF

Heading to Brisbane stopping along the way for a couple of caches. Had to get one in Bogan country! Left a Geocaching WA path tag for those collectors out there. Tftc

Heading on the long trip to Brisbane. If we're going to stop, might as well stop by a cache! Tftc

20-Dec-16
Unfortunately we are very casual cachers these days but we had to get a cache in SA on our way to QLD just for the souvenir.
TFTC. Couldn't fit a path tag in it but thems the breaks

19-Dec-16
Tftc. Great spot. Heading to Brisbane. Nice to find a cache once in a while as we have become very casual cachers!

20-Nov-16
Well I tried this cache a few times. I only have the iPhone so the co-ords are no use. I've been lost, ran out of daylight and received dirty looks from presumed property owners, but I finally logged it. Waypoints. Lots of waypoints. That was the key. Tftc but glad to see the back of it.
