Logs for KayGeeDee 

Was just leaving the event tonight when notification of this new cache came thru. Pulled over and rang to the car in front (ABCDF4 and eyespyben) to see if they were up tp a FTF chase. Dropped my car at home and off we went. After about 30 min we arrived at GZ well what we thought was but GPS stayed about 20m out. Eventually the penny clicked and we went to the correct place where cache was quickly located. No signatures on it so we logged a joint {FTF} at 7.40. Then it was back home for dinner. Thank you for the placement. 

Over in Thames for a family event. After I had time to come up and get this unfound cache. Got half way up the steps and realized I had left my pen behind. Back to the car. Then huffed and puffed my way back up. Once at GZ I looked atound and eventually spotted the hide. Opened it to find a blank log. {FTF}. Thank you for the placement. 

Passing thru so stopped for this one. Thankfully no trolls were seen in retrieving the cache. Signed and put back. Thank you for the placement. 

After a family event in Thames I came.up here to grab this cache and a nearby FTF. Nice walk to GZ even though it was uphill. Thankfully there was a seat for me to rest on while I signed the log. And enjoy the view. Thank you for the placemnt. 

Passing thru Paeroa today so decided to have another look for this one as it had been replaced. Arrived at GZ to see that the host had had a major haircut. Feared the worse for the cache but on looking it was still there. So I sign and put the log back. Thank you for the placement.

Did a check on this. Cache is where it should be. TB taken and will move on.Hint amended to clarify.

In the area today so thought I would have another look for this one. Spent far too long looking but thankfully got there in the end. Thank you for the placement. 

We came from the top and once at GZ Mrs ABCDF4 was soon hauling in the cache. Thank you for the placement. 

Up with ABCDF4 and eyespyben trying to clear out this area. While I searched the wrong place the find was made. Thank you for the placement. 

It might be the coast to coast walk but we were driving. Once at GZ I soon had the cache and completed the signing. Thank you for the placement. Maybe one day I will come back and do the walk. 

Passing here to day in a car not on a cycle so decided to test this one. Soon located and was granted access quickly. Thank you for the placement. 

Enjoyed the bush wander here. It was slippery under foot in places but the trail was easy to follow. Always great to be able to see the next before moving on. Thank you for the placement 

The last for the day. Thought I knew what to look for and eventually I found it. Thank you for the placement. 

While I browsed the titles the cache was located by Mrs ABCDF4. As she was signing I was reading a copy of the consumer guarantee. Thank you for the placement. 

It may have been hidden in plain sight in fact it initially fooled Mrs ABCDF4 who picked it up and discarded it. A closer look and the log was being signed. Thank you for the placement. 

Visited here with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. Sat and enjoyed the view while muggles passed. Cache quickly located and signed as KEA to save space on the logs heet. Thank you for the placement. 

Solved this when it came out but only in the area today. There was easy access to GZ and thankfully a quick find once there. Thank you for the placement. 

We never saw the light here 

After making my way to GZ I had to watch a nearby wasp nest as muggles passed by. Cache was then grabbed and signed before the next arrived. Thank you for the placement. 

After parking at the church we made our way to GZ. Spent a lot of time looking before a thought crossed my mind and soon after Mrs ABCDF4 soon had the cache in hand. Thank you for the placement. 

No luck here. Also a previous finder was with me who confirmed that the cache was not where they found it.

Here with eyespyben and ABCDF4. Always love the roots of these trees. Cache was soon found but the teacup is smashed. Log was also wet so we left a small sheet of paper with our names on it. Thank you for the placement.

With eyespyben and ABCDF4 and spent a lot of time searching for this one. Eventually widening the search Mrs ABCDF4 found it. For us the coordinates were a little itsy bitsy out. Thank you for the placement. 

We (ABCDF4 and eyespyben as well) were at the summit last week so decided to start gathering information for this one. Did what we could. Back this week to complete the task. Pleased to finally complete. Thank you for the placement. 

This has been on my solved list for a number of years. In the area today with ABCDF4 and eyepyben so stopped for a look. Noticed that it had not been found for 3 years. Started the search at GZ and surprised to locate the cache very quickly. Log was wet so we signed a piece of paper and added to the cache. So pleased to finally collect. Thank you for the placement. 

This has been on my solved list for ages. Passing today so stopped for a look. Found part of the cache. See attached photo. No top or paper. So have left a mint tine with new log at the base. Thank you for the placement 

No luck for us. 

Was passing here with ABCDF4 and eyespyben so we spun by to grab this one. Nice quick find and sign. No trains were spotted in signing this cache. Thank you for the placement. 

This one took so searching. Mostly in completely the wrong place. Eventually used a PAF and a hint narrowed down the search zone. Eventually cache was found. Thankful we signed and put it back. ?Thank you for the placement. 

Was in the area with ABCDF4 and eyespyben and had time to come up this mountain. On arriving at the top we noticed that things here have changed very recently. Compared to tracy.g photo of 12/10/24. Took note of things we could answer while on the mountain but had to resort to other sources before sending off the answers. Lovely day up here apart from the number of people. But that was good to see them enjoying there day. Thank you for this earth cache.

I think someone may have used a poop-a-scooper and whisked away the cache. White base of key holder only thing at GX? 

Have had this solved for some time. Today we were in the area so went for a look. After a thorough look with no luck I resorted PAF. They confirmed they had been to GZ recently and they also were not able to locate. So message CO about leaving a replacement. Had lunch in the park and as no response we decided to do so. Thank you for the placement. 

Solving this all quickly fell into place soon after the cache was published. In the area today so swung by to sign the log. Thank you for the placement. 

Up with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. Solve was done soon after it was published and in the area today. A team of Indian cricketers were preparing for a game nearby so we were careful with the search. Eventually it was found by Mrs ABCDF and log was signed. After putting it back we returned to the car without any mention of the cricket score in the test in India. (India all out for 46 in the 1st innings) Thank you for the placement. 

So nice to attend a 18th outside. Quiet get together for those not making there way to the Mega. Nice to meet a visitor and accompany her on the caches in the park. 

Over with Boges doing the new cycleway caches. After completing that we came to have another look for this one. A previous look was unsuccessful and we were thinking that this was going to be the same. Luckily while we were looking a young boy came up and asked us if we were geocaching. It turned out to be Caleb. So with his help we resumed the search and eventually Boges came up with the well camouflaged cache. It may not have been where it was placed as it was found about knee height. Signed and put it back. Thank you for the frustration but this was negated by meeting the family.

Was about to give up but I had one last look and spotted it. Not as far in as was assumed. After putting it back we tried to hide evidence of entry. Thank you for the placement.
