Wonderful to see the labyrinth open again. We first came here a few years ago on a very cold and wet winters day. We had come to NZ and were checking out the area as a possible place to relocate to, Dave was one of the first people in NZ we had spoken to, he was a really lovely man with an amazing imagination.
Like myself, Dave loved the movie 'Labyrinth' and there were many subtle references in the original Labyrinth park to the movie. Last year our studio designed the wedding outfit for Toby who was the baby who starred in the movie (he is 25 now!) it would have been lovely to have been able to see Dave again and tell him that.
I have some photos from the original Labyrinth which I will upload soon.
TFTC and thank you to everyone who is now looking after the rocks, we'll visit again soon.

Lovely spot, walked round the coast at first, tried scaling the rocks with the tide lapping at my heels as the metres counted down to ground zero - only to realise that I was indeed being stupid!
Got back to the car, drove up to the point and voila, found it no problem.
Dropped off a travelbug.

Nice easy find on a very cloudy day - went to look out all we could see was dense grey cloud above and below us....we will return again to view the scenery.
Good cache.
Good cache.
Great place. kept missing the path and it had me stumped for a few minutes, but after using my brain, I finally got there and found the cache.
10-Nov-09
Don't know if I am totally crap, or if its missing.
Searched all over the area for this one, certainly not where the clue stated it was??
Nearby was what looked to be a load of debris near a seat, wet papers etc that made me suspicious that it may have been mugged. let me know if I'm wrong as I'd like to locate this one
Thanks

Easy find, slightly wet inside, so replaced it on uits side to ensure no water gets in

TFTC - easy find, was totally exposed, covered over with leaves, but it could possibly benefit from a bit of digging in. The yellow cap is a sheer giveaway to muggles.

Found the log book & a sticker on the playground floor, nothing else in sight. Have kept the log if you want it.

Wish we had got there sooner, had my camera and the gardens were beautiful with the blossom trees in full bloom, sadly to dark to shoot

Great hide - This is the first one that I have actually found, Steve and the kids have beat me to all the others!

It wasn't that easy, went right over my head - Steve found this one, his second today!
The first one we looked for since joining Geocache and the closest one to our house! Poppy found this one
20-Sep-09
We found this box totally by accident! this is the 2nd geocache box we have found by accident, this one had the web address in so were were able to find our way here and register - now we're off searching for more
Gorgeous place, well worth the walk. Someone else mentioned not taking the 4WD track back down, we'd 2nd this. The 4WD is a tedious walk, much better to double back and return via the caves.
