11-Apr-10
unable to fix it at the moment. will try to get someone down to it soon.

12-Jan-10
Nice little beachy spot! Staying at the motorcamp. 2 of the SixHix with our good friend and her 2 little ones! Had a little difficulty navigating slippery rocks with bare feet, but they did great!
+ 5 peso coin
T4TC

09-Jan-10
Nice quick stop on our trip from Whatuwhiwhi to Auckland! T4TC!

07-Jan-10
Yippeeee! FTF! 1st cache of the day! Our 2nd FTF in New Zealand, 3rd FTF in the Southern Hemisphere. 3rd cache of the new year. Nice little cache. Got my legs all scratched up but didn't really have to. Took a South African and Korean coin and left 1,2 and 5 peso coins and a smattering of US currency. We have a similar cache in Levin! Anyway- T4TC!

searched but it was just too muggle-intensive today.

There were no trackable items in the cache when we found it. Sad Beautiful beach. Took watch and left marbles and Orange Heart Travelbug that wants to go to Bluff!

2nd find for the day. Gorgeous place. Wow!

05-Jan-10
1st find of the New Year! What a neat loo! Glad we stopped. My five-year-old daughter was the first to spot the cache! T4TC!

#377 total and #2 for 2010. Nice little stop. Interesting history. Left a ND state quarter. Thanks for the cache!

03-Jan-10
just adding the coin that I activated.

31-Dec-09
nice find. left a geocoin and can't remember where I put the activation number. Nice little find on a gorgeous day on the coromandel!! Will add the coin when I find tracking number.

25-Dec-09
First cache in a long while. the contents were a little damp. Kayaked over to it during our stay at the Top 10! Can't kayak all that close- need to "park" at the small point about .2 miles NE of the actual cache and you can get on the trail there. Left Antarctica Magic Geocoin and a ND state quarter.

22-Nov-09
Found this one after a visit to the beautiful Aquarium. Kids had a wonderful time. MIL Jodie found this one first. Took a bottle opener and left Diabetes Travel Bug and a bag of marbles.

We had tried to catch this one last month and didn't make it. Nice little trek today. Left some American coins and a die. Took the "Magic Geocoin-Antarctica"

20-Nov-09
Nice little stop on our way to Napier. Thanks for the cache. Beautiful day!

#371 total for us. MIL Jodie found this one! T4TC.

15-Nov-09
there with my oldest son. Just no luck today. At least it wasn't raining.

Here to visit the museum with visiting MIL. Oldest son and I braved the strong wind to go out and get this one. It's NOVEMBER for crying out loud, when is it going to warm up??? Anyway, nice little hide. T4TC.

2nd find of the day. Youngest son picked this one up. Sometimes it helps to have kids that like to do the crawling around under things for ya. Not as conspicuous. First time we came by muggles were parked right over the cache with no intention of leaving anytime soon. Had to come back after lunch at Kabab Bros (Yumm!!) for the find.

03-Nov-09
Mahia Tombolo was transferred from geoaware to user SixHix

17-Oct-09
We looked around a little. GPSr put us near some trees. Searched around a bit in the wet, sloppy grass with no luck. Have to try again the next time I take my son to his girlfriend's house.

10-Oct-09
1st of 3 finds for the day. OUCH! The thorny bushes left their marks on us. Had to get a wee bit wet due to all the rain! Left sticker and took some stickers and the penguin travel bug! Had our sons friend, Billy, with us for the find!

logged with permission.
Found on our way back from Mahia Beach to Levin. The river is raging today after all the rains. Great place for a hike.

2nd of 3 finds for the day. Quick find with the hint. Took DB travel bug and left peso and some stickers.

07-Oct-09
2nd of 2 caches for the day. Our son's friend Billy was with us! His first cache ever! This is probably our farthest East cache for a long time! Nice hide and nice little place to stop. On our way to Morere Hot Springs after this.

1st of 2 caches of the day. Took a little searching but we found it in the end. Took pogs and left obsidian. Thanks to the one of the previous notes we didn't spend any time on the poo trail off to the right, even though the rains had washed away most of that.

30-Sep-09
2nd of just 2 finds for the day. Up in Palmy to get hubby's computer fixed. My 5-year-old daughter spotted it first. Nice spot.

Very nice park. 1st cache of only 2 caches for the day. What a clever hide. Got my arm much dirtier than was necessary.
Left my "Love your cache" geocoin! T4TC and the beautiful little park.

19-Sep-09
3rd of 3 DNFs for the day. Guess I was the confused cacher. Looked for awhile and just had no luck. Beautiful Rooster came to say "hi" (or probably "feed me" would be more accurate.) Have to try this one on a different day to see if we have more luck.

After Boxhill's note, I had to check on the cache. She's sound as a pound!

2nd of 3 DNFs for the day. Hopefully this hasn't been muggled! Maybe we just couldn't see it. Saw a hallowed-out stump that appeared to be in a distinctive shape that seemed to me to be where the cache should be. Hopefully we were just looking in the wrong spot.

All I have to show from this one is a heap of laundry. We took the wrong trail and the kids got so muddy that some of them wanted to turn back. Never even got very close to the cache location.
Won't be trying this one again unless it's been less rainy for awhile! Yikes! OK (we got laundry, a great view and a good workout!)

9 of 10 finds for the day. Fun little find. Really neat to see information about the US troops. Interesting history to see for us, as I am an Underpaid, Over Here American.

6 of 10 finds for the day. Clever little hide, but quick off and on SH1. T4TC!

First stop after a quick Burger King lunch. 8 of 10 finds for the day. Windy day at the beach. Kapiti island looked so big from the beach here. My 10-year-old (the reluctant geocacher) found this one. The bag is definitely in need of repair. Took Burger King toy (like we don't have enough already) and left keychain container and something else (can't remember now!)

4th of 10 caches for the day. Nice cache. Left some playdoh and Geotalk coin. Picked up marbles and blue penguin TB. Didn't see any other geocoins in the cache.

1st of 10 finds for the day. Beautiful day and we didn't have plans so we decided to cache. T4TC! Nice quick off and on of Highway 1.

7 of 10 finds for the day. We have to agree with W.E.K.A.'s assessment of the close-up view.
My 5-year-old daughter nabbed this one first. Left a lego guy and took the bubbles.
T4TC.

Quick little multi-cache on a windy day. 4 of 10 finds for the day. Kids enjoyed the park.

5 of 10 finds for the day. Had to hunt for a wee while for this one. Kids really enjoyed the park here. Nice view.

Last of 10 finds for the day. Nice little spot. Would be a very quick off and on while heading South, not as easy heading North as you cannot get back unto SH1 going North from there (as far as we could tell.)
Flashing Kiwi keychain TB was alive and well- no plans to go to SI, so I left him be. Wonderful little cache to end out the day! TNLNSL. T4TC.

2nd find of 10 for the day. Picked up the Geotalk geocoin. Dropped the Bobbie's Down Under SEPAG geocoin. Were at the wrong spot for a few minutes due to our GPS bouncing, but in the end we prevailed.

18-Sep-09
Woo Hoo! My first FTF in New Zealand. Had to stop to at the Levin Club first for a few minutes and then off to see if we could get the FTF! Found at 7:55 pm!

16-Sep-09
stopped to add a writing utensil and a couple of greenbacks. Had to swap geocoins as well!

15-Sep-09
moved to Foreign Cache Exchange II instead

Quick find after work. Nice hide. took fake thumb. Left playdough. 6-year-old spotted this one first. Nice little park. Kind of drizzly today.

14-Sep-09
Spent a wonderful lunch break sorting this one out!
We love this park! The kids love this place. You don't see parks like this in the USA! It's just one more reason we really love New Zealand!
TNLNSL! T4TC.

13-Sep-09
2nd of the day. Took keychain and left some play-dough. Nice hide. T4TC.
Bible TB was safe in the cache.

First cache of 4 for the day! Ran into Skindo while searching (he actually found it!)
left a pink toy cellphone a bouncy ball-thing and took a green Maori-looking carved rock and smiley-face eraser.
T4TC.
