Logs for Strawberri

28-Apr-12
Spent some time scratching my head on this as I was not getting the expected results. I then referred to another who had some experience to offer and I got confirmation that I was correct in my location. Considering the date, and that these chirps run for about 12 months and a battery, it might be that the battery on this chirp has gone caput and needs replacement?

Rather bizarre find. Although it could be called an easy find, we may have given argument to that. We had to give up and bag some trash before we were able to find it.

This cache gave us a bit of trouble, hubby had been here a while ago and gave up with good reason. Today it all made sense when out of the blue a joke was made that flashed a lightbulb in both out brains. The joke laid a line of understanding that even a picture frame needs a little help once in a while.

What a nice area, it looks like a great place to take the family for an afternoon of kayaking and river entertainment. I am glad my hubby dragged me here after he saw it this morning.

Not sure what to do? The log being eternally unusable, so we could only leave a photo unable to sign the log being water logged itself.
Will sign the log when it is dry. Tftc

This place is another great place to spend the afternoon. Finding this cache was one of the easiest ones I have ever found, all the same it is such that it should remain safe for a long time. We left a TB and took a photo. Tftc

Easy find. Signed log and on our way we went.

Said hello to a couple passerby while we took only a minute to find the cache. Friendly folks.

A fast find on the way to Gin Gin.

My first find in a while. Until this past week I was working on my phd in addition to my classes and lecture preparations, no to mention all the student handholding that is just part of the job. As you can imagine this left me very little time for much else never mind geocaching. My geohubby completely understands.

After a nice lunch with geohub I was presented with this interesting cache that happened to be conveniently located on the way back to my car. "Endorfun" even had his pen in hand ready for me to make a fast entry in the cache log to minimize my delay in returning to Uni for my next lecture, hopefully before any of my students.

22-Jan-12
Was along for the ride with Endorfun for the return trip to place the cache back in its place, as I did this we used this cache to swap out one of my gc to endorfun and dropped off a bug as well.

Feel like an idiot, twice I have tried to find this cache, and left without finding it, on my third attempt, and with my geopartner we found it in a completly different area than I had thought it to be.

The spider webs around this cache were just to much for me to go on down the path to the cache, if not for my partner who was man enough to bring me the log book to sign I would have just packed it up and gone on.
Signed the log from 50 meters away, I saw the cache as my partner had held it in the air for me to see at gz

Found cache easily, but the barking dogs were almost enough to make us turn the other way leaving the cache for another day

Found cache after a very short search, as this cache was so close to the people in the house next to the cache I felt like we were peeping toms and that there could be trouble, the soomer we were gone the better.

Took almost no effort to simply pull off to the side of the highway, step a couple steps to the cache, sign the log and be back on our way in no more than 3 or 4 minutes. Almost too easy

Seems that the geohubby sees this site as a very special place . I have heard about this place and the airplanes that are there every time he is in the area for work or play, seeing it for the first time has put a face to the words for me.
A very appropriate location for a cache.

Simply was along for the ride on our way home for the day, geohubby stopped for this cache, and I of course had to take my oportunity given to me and sign the log too!

I was along for the ride with geohubby, and as I was along for the ride I was of course going to take advantage of any cache stops as well, !! Good Hunting!

I was guided to this cache by my geohusband on our way home, he explained to me how this cache was a bit different to most other caches. We arrived. I quickly signed the log, and got back on the road in a matter of seconds as our dog, as well as myself needed a pit stop asap and being the only male in the car must have made geohubby feel like one against the world with four woman.
Seems in my haste I T-TB but failed to release the GC. Will make up for it at my next cache

Once again, I owe my find to the wonderful services of my personal geo guide who like Flight Center is unbeatable when it comes to your travel plans!!
TFTC and what a really clever cache it is.

Easy find for me, as I was guided to this spot by someone who had been here before

This cache had a rather confusing moment for us as we got out of the car to find it, had it not been for a rather lucky chance we may have not found the cache due to how we gave thought to the clue.

What a very pleasant location, as soon as we pulled up to the bushland to park I felt like this was a wonderful place to have a home. With a great piece of rustic land to walk around in, and shopping only a matter of foor steps, not parking spaces away it really feels like a good place.
Of course things always have to have a dark side, and for this place it is the prehistoric sized ants roaming the bush, that almost have foot falls that can be heard from meters distant. I can only imagine what the queen ant looks like!!

Gads, a somewhat tricky GZ to localize, one needs to be extra observant with using geo instincts to get this one. But with two heads looking for this we found it easily.
Very nice hide, had us going for a few minutes.

Found cache with endorfun. What a really nice location, it would be very good to maybe become a landowner of one of the lots here with the views that are just spectacular,

Found cache very easily, I was given a clue from a friend.
There was no GC or TB in the cache, perhaps someone else found the cache today and still has yet to log it in?
Signed the log, and went on my way once again.

Found this cache with the help of endorfun, although I might have been able to do this myself, it would seem that we both had something that the other did not have with solving this find. One of us had a mobility issue and the other had never done a cache like this before.
I had a great deal of fun doing this one.

One of the easiest find yet. I would have thought that with what looked like a school so close, that students would have been buzzing around the place.

I found this while on the heels of my master, together we made a concert of efforts to get me up to speed with finding caches. Soon I will be locating caches with my own efforts 100%.

I am caching with the help of my husband Endorfun, most of the time it is I who requires some direction, but on this occasion it was "I" offering the help. Endorfun was certain that the location of this cache could only be got to by one way, and when that turned out to be an impossible path, it not only indicated that there had to be another way, but that the possiblity of many alternatives now exsisted and that Endorfun - was very wrong about being so right. It was just was not his day perhaps?

Last visit of the day, the hide for this one was very good as niether of us could pin point the cache, even with the clue. But after I went to the car to leave it all up to the master he suddenly came to life with the item in hand. Looks like I was the problem on this one.
TFTC

Not hard to find this one. Pulled up and off the highway, took a vector off the reciever, walked the x amount of distance using the right bearing and the cache was within a couple feet of where it was to be. One frog later, and we had our first cache of the day.
TFTC

Easy find, although ants seems to have made themselves at home in the cache, perhaps some TLC is needed to get them to go somewhere else.
Great Location

This was a good one, had it not been for experience by someone else, I bet this may not have been found today.

Found this easily

seems this cache fell victom to the rescent storms, when we found it, it was completely water logged and needed saving.
I hope our efforts give new life to this cache until other arrangements can be made.
Great day caching

How interesting, I never would have thought that I would have been parking all those times I went shopping, and the cache I would end up finding was always only feet away from my car.

I found this cache with endorfun, it may not have been possible to find if we had not used two heads.l

How fun, this is my second cache. I get it now, I had no idea that it is more than one thing that is hidden in all the caches.
Thank you

This is my very first log entry, this is also my very first cache find too. With the help of my husband, I am certain that this will not be my last.
I find this all to be rather fun.
Thank you

I am submitting this log entry as I had found this cache with my husband, at the time I was already using my new identity as "Strawberri" I had no idea at that time that I could make my own entry at "Strawberri" a member of "Endorfun"

28-Feb-10
As I have officially become my own cache user from my husband "Endorfun" I will be of course subjecting certain things to the situation as I have been informed by another user who also had the same experience. Several cache finds and log entries, not all but many of them, will be found to need retro additions, and or updates to cover the addition of a split/second user that occurs when one Identity become two. Will just have to play it by ear for now.
My wife is now known as "Strawberri" .
