On our way up north and stopped in Campbell Town for lunch, how could we miss such an impressive cache.

Notice came up that there was a new cache in the area, being a miserable day decided to go for a look as its only about 15ks from home, and what do you know it started to pour as i pulled up beside the burnt out car, waited a couple of minutes, and the sun was out, and so was the log for a FTF.
Was going to drop off a bug that we brought back from our Mainland trip, but wouldn't fit in the tin.

What a lovely spot this could be, but the area is a disgrace with the over grown weeds, and thistles,the Council need a rocket up there bum.
The cache also needs some TLC as it's as good as being in the open.

Walked up slowly towards the gate, saw an eye and a horn looking at me through the bark, and thought, what the hell is this, is it for real or is it the cache, well it was the cache but it had me wondering for a second or two.

Have been over this bloody steep hill with the van on a number of ocassions and never stopped to admire the view, but this time we are camped near by and don't have the van so could stop and look at the view and score a cache at the same time.

Staying in a near by caravan park, decided to walk to this one therefore didn't take a writing instrument.
Found the cache and went into the cafe for a biro, signed the log and replaced thecache.
Excellent hide.
