Together with a big group of orienteerers I have made a long journey from Sweden to Singapore, through the New Territory Australia from Darwin to Ayers Rock and then Sidney. Then we continued to New Zealand for the World Masters Orienteering Championship, this year as a part of World Master Games in Aukland. After the games we went to the south island and traveled from Queenstown and Milford Sounds north along the west coast and reachet Picton. Then we got on the boat to Wellington and went north to Tongariro and Rotorua before we returned home to Sweden.

This was my first visit to this part of the world and it was fantastic.

I have read The Lord of the Rings and also seen the movies of course. When you come across a geocachetrail here in the heart of Middle Earth it was nececcary to take the trail.
