**Probably just me needing better eyesight **
Especially since someone before me today found it and rehid.
I should have read the hint, (though I did examine structure underside anyways to no avail).

I suspect I got something wrong with the numbers. The trees in a row thing is where I went wrong (if the hint is correct I had three too many).
Oh well, next time through.

Thanks Rendam,
I'd have to agree with you. Clearly I need to give it some more thought.
Unfortunately for me, that only makes it more appealing.
Lets hope third times the charm - and thanks again for a fun cache

CLASSIC !
Geoson calls says come get me now ! So I had to bail on this one for now.
Knew I was in the right place, the car out front had GTs all over it. Not to mention the whole area looked completely staged (reads lots of effort went into garden, seat, and presentation)
But the funniest part of this story is yours truly, reclining on bench, trying not to be too obvious, then looks up and sheepishly waves as owner pulls into driveway in his Ute. I swear this guy would pass for Santa (2 mins earlier Santa would have caught me reading his water meter).. just couldn’t tell if he was takin the piss, or genuinely chuffed to see someone using the bench he built which was kinda handy..
I really hope this guy was the CO cos it’s gonna look totally sus if I go back..
Hope I spot it next time maybe it was that junction box I didn’t want to touch..

Went back again today, but still no floatable retrieved. Either it’s been muggled or it’s stuck at the bottom of the tube.

Hi there
Found the tools but the cache didn’t surface after numerous tries. Great fun - but sorry to say I suspect it’s already been muggled.
Had fun TFTC anyways

Looks like they’ve been pruning branches.. quite exposed - a quick welcome diversion from a nearby conference TFTC

Unfortunately it has now become impractical to continue with this one.. it will likely be muggled again so Im left with little choice but to archive it.
Dont worry though - another one will be created soon enough - and you can always try one of my other caches if you're into code solving etc.

I stopped by the cache for a quick checkup, only to find the cable securing it had been cut and the container sitting unopened in the garden.
I've removed the container, and am disabling the cache for now.
I'm currently deciding whether to archive or redo.
To those who enjoyed this cache - I have another on the way

Unfortunately the cache is nowhere to be found.. or it's further up the tree than I cared to climb ?
Note: I didn't check much further than the tree so it could be there and I just missed it.
PS You'll need a peg for your nose.. The area reeks of sewage.
Cheers

Returned to this area with geoson after briefly looking in on another cache some time back, which is no longer present. This cache was definitely not what I expected, and a real hit with the kids (I thought it was pretty cool myself )

Have you seen that AD on TV where the guy eats a chilli handed to him by his son, and while gagging in Mexican he's thinking 'don't let the boy see me cry' ?
ShadowNoir you are a RATBAG !!
So there I am with my son, and we've turned the candidate flora inside out. Nada.
There's only one possibility.. Up.
Have you ever seen a 46 YO man clinging to a limb, thinking 'don't let the boy see me panic', followed closely by 'Please god let that branch hold... Holy Motheeeeeeeeeerrr', and shortly thereafter by 'Oh that **EVIL** $&@ CO!'
This one was a lot of fun, and rather sneaky. Grabbed the geocoin, and left The Chef.

This was by far one of the best caches I've found. Stealth by night was the only way to go tho, too much traffic to do this during the day without being spotted.
The kids absolutely loved it.. quick easy find, and a lot of fun extracting required components, mission details, etc
Will complete the mission next weekend
The cache was in good condition, the log was clean and dry, as were the mission details.
Thanks for an excellent cache K8nCo

Due to content formatting constraints, some information was accidentally omitted when I created the listing. As of this log entry, all required data is now present.

OH YEAH !
Finally nabbed this one !
It was one of those local caches that refuses to be solved no matter how many times you find the opportunity to visit. I don't mind saying I think I tried this one on four different occasions before the bins went, and as soon as I found out the wafers had moved I made a special trip just for this one (OK.. I live just 10mins away so not so special but boy was I chuffed to find those wafers.. well *cough* to see my daughter find the wafers, only to discover the numbers were illegible.
I thought.. no WAY am i giving up on this one now, so tried to factor a location with what little info i had.. we turned up at a location I though likely, only to find some guy with a home made quad copter, tripod signal booster, and VR head gear guiding his gizmo all over the place ! The rotten thing actually followed me around a clump of trees (this thing was buzzing away like a bee, no line of sight.. he was seeing through his visor etc).. there was no way we would be able to look around without being spotted.. then there I was leaning against my car.. and the rotter actually flew right up in front of me and rocked back and forth waving at me !!
Oh well.. maybe next time. Then just as i was to send a note to K8nCo to ask for the coords, I noticed someone had logged a find ! AHA ! They've sorted the wafers out..
Back to where we began (yes I actually had the area right the first time) and managed to look straight at it several times before my son spotted its very well hidden corner.
Everything appears to be in good order, my youngest swiped a travel bug, and I one of the quartpotpobblebonk pathtag trackables.
So, at the end of the day, a lot of fun, a novel way to be confunded by muggles, and a hearty thanks to K8nCo for their efforts with this cache

The numbers on these wafers are indiscernible - perhaps the numbers could be etched into the wafers ?
Checked around 4:30-5:00pm on Monday 09/06/14

This one is really too close to public thoroughfare, thus I'm abandoning it.
I do however have plans for another in the area

Seems I'm going to have to find a trickier container..

OH YEAH (dances around room punching the air) !
My First Solo FTF !
And what a prize for FTF too !
This was a fun one, especially in the dark, I figured I'd be late on the scene trying to find spares for my GPS, but got there just in time. Over the moon, I'm sitting in the gogo mobile admiring the setup (great key hide BTW), when another car turns up.. nice to meet you totalube
Can you believe my watch stopped working at 5PM today !
Amazing how these things work out. One very black thumb later I have the log book 'signed' and a new timepeice to try out
Cheers T-Tech, TFTC, and the effort you must have put into this one !

Woohoo !

Geodaughter was over the moon till I explained, no we're not FTF, it's a cache refresh
We were happy to also see our possum friend asleep in his usual haunt.

I wont be heading up from Brissy for at least 4 weeks, and even then, need to source a motorized floatie for the day.
So no rush
PS I'll certainly take along some WD40.. and a handy set of bolt cutters JIC
Cheers !

I'm contemplating this one, and will when time permits, conquer it. I plan this to be my first 5/5.
HOWEVER, having seen other caches where the padlock was rusted/siezed closed, would really appreciate it if the CO could verify this not to be the case before I head up from Brisbane.
Time for the CO to take their own torture test ?
Cheers

Solved this one at work with Diefenbachii, then made a night raid with the geokids. It was too well camoed to be spotted at night so returned this avo to find my GPS lying to me.. Finally found it along with some snake eggs nearby..
Not entirely sure this is a 5, but thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle, and finding the cache (not to mention being my first 5 find)

Look forward to CO replacing cache (am logging with COs consent)

Turned up with the geokids, and began looking around.. nope not there, hmmm.. my coords put it right smack dab in the middle of.. the biggest spider web you ever saw. Gumbosan does the OMG OMG where did that monster GO dance ???!.. to which the kids respond 'hang on dad, i think its on your back'.. OMFG! encore..
Anyways, had a look around and didn't see it, but that doesn't mean its not there..
We did find a likely hiding spot, but it seems a possum beat us to it and fell asleep on top of it !.. well thats our excuse anyways..
We'll be back to retry this one on another day when hopefully the possum has moved on.

A pleasant surprise (my intended first hide was too close apparently), the puzzle made a nice distraction and cache was promptly located.
Unfortunately the logbook was a VERY slimy proposition that I wasn't willing to leaf thru (it would have fallen apart had i attempted to sign it anyways).
Nice puzzle cache but the log definitely needs replacing.
Thx K8nco

A lot of fun - geodad and the kids.. a lot of hand holding in the spooky neverland, and a million killer toads just waiting to jump out at you. Much squealing and yelping ensued as we followed the fairy dust to its final location, whereupon 2 very sleepy kids became wide eyed and sifted thru the magic stash
Of course geodad had fun trying to plot the return trip in the dark - I'm sure it was this way ? But we got back to the car in the end (I could have sworn I saw a fairy zip behind a tree)..
Retrieved the 'cache me if you can' trackable.
TFTC Pprime, all was in good order and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
