12-Nov-04
Found this cache after the second visit. This cache involves walking through a lot of scrub as it is all overgrown. Enclosed Footwear is recommended!

07-Nov-04
The cache is well gone now, i think we should keep thies closed

12-Jul-03
Went to check on this cache today and it has been washed away by the river, however we spotted the cache in the middle of the river on an island. If you want to find this cache, at the moment it isnt far away from its original co-ords but if you want it you will get wet! maybe you might want to wait a while.

Second cache today. Very nice spot and it will be brilliant in the winter. We will revisit next winter to see the waterfall. Co-ords spot on.

Good cache, took around half our to find as coords out by 11mtrs. Will not post the new coords so it is more of a challenge to you!

This was a nice easy cache. 3rd and last for the day. Took tooth Brush, left a fishing lure. Used new merridan GPS and co-ords out 6m. Team Cache Hunters-John & Blake

Travel Bug: Sparky has started its Journey Here!

24-Nov-02
Took about 2 hours to get close to the cache, we were within 5m at one stage but our GPS wasnt working properly and didnt update much, so one stage we were 5m, the next minute we were 70m! On the way back to the car we got lost and were walking round for about an hour to find it. Very Hard...

23-Nov-02
Not a bad cache! On the way on the 4x4 track the car caught fire! All this smoke just started pouring in from the dash so we jumped out and disconnected the battery and it was soon gone. Lots of wires melted.

Anyway, the cache was good and we drove within 7m of it! Very easy cache.

Found the cache quit easily without a GPS as there used to be a photo on here that pointed directly to the cache. However the co-ordinates where out 15m on my SporTRACK GPS so may be try these co-ordinates: 31 58.462S 115 51.482E

Nice view after a climb up a 97m above sea level hill, and a hike through thick scrub which was 400+ metres walking. Sat down and had a nice look at the view as we got our breath back. (just as well we took water!!). Took nothing, but left Megella Travel Bug who has come from canada.
On the way home, we called into McDonalds for a nice GeoBurger! This was our 6th cache and it was the hardest cache yet! We already found 2 others before this one!

16-Nov-02
Nice 30min walk along a gravel road. Nice creek which is good for drinking. It was a bit hot but we managed to find it ok. Be careful of the barb wire! Took the sparkplug lighter and keyring, but we forgot to take the things we were going to put in it, however we will return in a few weeks and place a travel bug in it! So far its the best cache we have visited.
