Well there were so many bridges and we thought we were so onto it but searched for ages in the wrong spot it was over cast too and the GPS wasn't going too well so we got completely stuck, eventually found it.
Nice place thanks for the cache

What a lovely spot, we took a wrong turning so explored the area quite thouroughly it helps to know the local flora and fauna names too
We found the cachce once we got onto the right track so quiet and a lovely day
Took the emergency poncho and left something with a smiley face on it but can't remember what thanks for the cache though

Bit of a yucky day but a nice spot for the family excellent hiding place, cache was somewhat damp and the wee note book disintergrating so if someone would like to try and take another one along might be a good idea. - dog whistle + fridge magnet (with smiley of course)

Popped in today and dropped in some "Smiley Face Bubble Liquid" as treasure yesterday was too large for container.

What a great place we live just down the road and when I read the description I had a feeling it was the place that we drove past on a frequent basis and always wanted to go there. We left after work to squeeze this one in and we couldn't get the GPS to work so ran around the park area until we found the memorial rock, we then knew we were in the right place. We found the cache only by looking based on clues only. We were the first to find and what a lovely place had no idea it was so big. Took the Red Planet visitor and tried to leave a craft knife but it was too big for the container so will pop back today to drop in some smaller treasure
Thanks Sallies and Gladys

Found it was quite a good spot have never been here before took lots of photos of the view and left a log entry great little cache, not sure about the co ordinates the GPs led us for quite a long hike up hill.
Not sure what we have done wrong here but we can not find this anywhere. the gps has indicated that we are looking within 10m but still no luck! There is a lot of rubbish around and specifically a empty box of beers and heaps of empty beer bottles, someone obviously had a wee party here. We will try again but this one has both of us stumped

What a lovely day and a great view this was a hard start point to find not that well sign posted around the area, which is a shame because it is a great historical spot. Once we found the start point easy find from there. left a wee traveller rocky mountain mug bug and a key to happiness (ex love shack) who is trying to make it home and took beaker (the dr soft toy)
Thanks

Found it but it is advisable to stick to the clue directions definately the easier route, was FTF and is our first FTF. Left our duck friend from Coromandel Cathedral Cove cache and a large slinky , took the travel bug for another adventure and the lazer pointer to play with. Will place the bug this weekend our first travel bug too

We found it this time, turns out we had made a wrong turning and had gone up to a camp site the first time which is actually worth a look because it has a lot of wildlife wondering free. We had seen this road on our first attempt but the gates were closed so we assumed it was private property. The gates were open this time and it was a nice easy find, not sure about the clue but the search area was small enough. Cache was well stocked took out fish brooch and mini grater and left a pocket knife and some hair clips. Never even knew this place existed great view of the valley thanks Saff and Tiger

Lovely spot first time for Kere and a long awaited return visit for Emma, got here around 4:00 in the afternoon and there were still quite a few people around. nice easy find had a good look around and because it was low tide got to explore a few caves. Took duck that no longer quacks and left a pair of sunnies
This time we got it right the first find for the year, trying to find the correct manuka between twin pungas was a mission so we ended up just randomly picking trees as we couldn't get a reading on the GPS. Found it wasn't very well covered up, took nothing and left a log entry because we left all our goodies in the car. This cache had accidently been found in November by some passers by they filled in a log entry and then put it back again. We made sure the cache was well hidden when we put it back. Nice cool spot on a hot day
Bit a trek around the rocks especially without shoes on would recommend also going at low tide if on foot. Lovely spot nice easy find and a nice sunny day, hardly anyone around. took thread tape and magnetic backgammon, left flying rocket and floating keychain. this cache needs a new log book as it is full

Nice easy find. Lovely spot especially on such a sunny day. Quite a few peole around so we did a spot of fishing off the rocks before finding cache. Cache very wet. Sat down for 10-15 mins and dried contents. Took 3m tape measure(broke whilst drying it) left Military insect repellent and sunscreen (2 in 1).

Well our second attempt at caching and did not do too well wasn't sure if we were in the right place so decided to pack up and leave as there were a few muggles wondering around. Will try again on our return trip. After reading the logs we may be able to find it a little better
This was our first cache ever and found it nice and easy. Containers was a bit damp so tried to wipe the moisture out. We got there at sunrise and the mountain looked fantastic.
Took a hacky sack and left a craft knife

After a long drive from Wellington we stopped here about 12:30 in the afternoon it had been a long day and was very hot, it din't help that we didn't know what a manuka looked like. Had a look around but there were so many pungas that we decided to try again when we won't so tired
