Yes, the Council has converted this area to a wetlands. No rocks, no water, no cache. 

Checked on 1st and 2nd clues - both seem to be missing. Final cache is still in place. Will attempt to replace clues over the next few weeks. 

[Returned to start point to replace sheet with clue locations. Now positioned 2m south of original location, my GPS indicating 34 46.884S 138 35.405E, not a whole lot different to initial start point.] Clues now contained in a green Berocca tube. [Not sure what the council is planning to do with the pathway, step carefully.] 

Went out this morning (12 oct 04) to check if cache still there- YES it is! Unfortunately council works close to the start point have hidden the initial capsule containing location of the 2 clues. So unless you have a crane or crowbar to lift the 200kg+ rocks, you'll have to wait until I replace the starting clue. If you still have the locations of the 2 clues then go back and try that 1 last rock you havent turned over. Hopefully tommorrow I will have photos available of the cache location and surrounding rocks. 

[Clues and cache are still there as of 18 April 04] Clue 1 is behind but close to a 4inch diameter tree trunk on a slight embankment. Clue 2 is under some pine needles within inches of a pine tree. Final cache is ... 

Found after a quick run through the numerous puddles. Attempted to beat the I&O team to the mark but yet again failed. Maybe I shouldnt bring them with me! Took nothing left nothing. 

Replaced soggy notepaper in 2nd part with fresh notepad in ziplock bag. Doesnt seem to be a pencil in the box anymore so bring one along to fill in the log.
 

After doing a few donuts around the tree, screached to halt for final assault. Great spot, pity about the spare tyres, lawn clippings, asbestos, ... 

Just beat I&O to it by seconds. Was lucky that their GPS was indicating 20m south of the cache. 

Found after a very pleasant ride from the carpark. After an initial check of the area without success, took some bearings from the road then hit the jackpot. 

Lunch down in the picnic area then a short walk into the park. Found without to much scrambling around. Thanks B+B 

Found after a pleasant walk through the park. Now its off for a well earned icecream. Took nothing, left nothing. 

Found this after riding down from Adam St. Had the coords in my gps so thought I'd attempt. Found after an initial search in the bushes only brought out rubbish left by passing walkers, doggers, riders. Took nothing, left nothing. 

Found about 3.15 pm in collusion with I&O. Should have brought the drill to put it a bit deeper! 

Took a few bearings from outside the dark zone then homed in on the spot. Found after fending off those pesky Inlaws. 

Found fairly easily after doing the maths. Couldn't convince the younger members to do it for me-what are these young ones coming to. Now its off to find an icecream after enjoying this magnificent view. 

Alex, Chris, Junesse found 1st part without too much trouble, then headed off for the 2nd part. My gps indicating I should jump off the cliff, luckily sanity prevailed and we relied more on the 2nd gps we had available. It still took about 20 mins or so to meander, search, groan, complain and genenerally study the coastal plantlife in closeup before Chris finally spotted the little sucker.
Took something, I cant remember what, and left orange essence.
 

Found by Caterina, Angela, Alex, Tahlia ..... + lots of others while on the way to lunch at Moonta. Took small doll wallet, left Microsoft pocket knife. 

Found by Angela, Caterina, Alex, Tahlia, Chris + others. As usual my gps sent me around in circles finally ending up centred about 11m from the site. At the same time the 2nd gps we had was consistently getting to within 2m of the site.
Took nothing, left nothing.

 

There are no particular rules about relocating the cache. Basically anywhere in the reserve. Further west along the track there are 2 other rock faces that might offer some hiding opportunities. 

Found at 8am on the way to work this morning. Nice easy walk but plenty of seeds to remove from my shoes on returning to the car. Took G-clamp, left blue light stick. 

Came with T,A,J and C for the search. Found easily after waiting for a few tourists to leave the area. Took cards, left a dozen dice. 

Found at 4.40pm after much waiting around for the local population of lonely elderly gentlemen to move away. Took nothing, left nothing. 

Found by Simo & friends on a cool friday afternoon. The rain held off long enough to get to the cache and enjoy a walk back along the beach. Swapped frog, hand and ball for 3 Christmas ornaments.
