Bandits, plunderers and other riff-raff obviously still ply their wicked ways along the old coach road. Bring back the pillory I say. Thanks Mistraluna for alerting me to its disappearance.

It seems like there has been a snatch and grab on the stage coach. Sending geo-pooch Ralph out to sniff out what's happened. Watch this space.

This is a nice spot to visit nowadays but it would have been an extremely welcome location to Eyre after his perilous desert crossing. Thanks Jaydreams for bringing us out here and for being part of the explorer series

I couldn't be fooled twice by the same trick could I? Yes, I could. Ralph the geo-hound thought it hilarious. It was certainly a fun cache. Thanks roymerc

In fading light dodged kangaroos and Munda Biddi riders en route to the cache. Hope that the riders got to a shelter and was very glad not to wear a roo as a hood ornament.

Thanks for the cache

It survived a fire but not the bulldozers. Bye bye nutty one. It's been fun

Came back out with Roostaman who is visiting from NSW. Thanks to a hint from the CO was able to have success at WP1. Our geo-hounds enjoyed the walking and sniffing and other unspeakakable acts as made our way to GZ. Fortunately we had interpreted the requirements for this and were able to retrieve a cache containing a blank log. Joint FTF. Thanks Winchester45 on your first cache

Haven't been out here since the last cache so it was good to have a reason to come again. Great spot!

I knew there was no point in visiting the published coordinates because the cache isn't a traditional or a multi but I was doing the Rushy Point cache so thought I'd take a look anyway. Absolutely none the wiser as to how to solve the puzzle

25-Aug-14
When this was published I asked Ralph if he wanted a short walk. Nope, he insisted on holding off for a long walk today. Just as well because he would have been crushed in the mad dash for FTF. We had perfect conditions for a walk, Ralph made new friends and I scored a Roymerc creation. Good day really.

Dropped in a traveller whose about half way through its round the world trip. He will enjoy the views from here

23-Aug-14
tango and Ralph were in the area doing a spot of maintenance when Ralph suggested we do this one which has been sitting solved for a while. Today we were alone unlike last time when it was a right royal get together. We saved the get together for a visit close to the Baudin explorer cache where Ralph spotted a couple of teams at work.

Thanks Cruznoz

Checked on this one. It was actually partly exposed so I adjusted its curtain a bit. Dropped in a traveller who wants to see some of WA. There's a million ants in the damp areas on the hill at the moment so I'd advise you to grab the cache and move away onto the rocky area before opening.

Sometimes mother nature covers this one up. That wasn't the case today. It was completely visible and I left it as found

16-Aug-14
Like a few others I had a cache ready to go in here. That had given me preconceived ideas about the colour and size of the hide. After rechecking the listing I made the find and was glad I had a pen with me. Great lookout. TFTC

A quick early morning stopover as I headed home I was going carefully up the rocks until 57m from GZ my battery went flat. Have you ever tried to accurately measure 57m while wending your way up potentially slippery rocks? It's not easy and after wasting my time on some rocks just a few metres away I moved on to the correct location. I'm glad that goosebumpers hide in nice sensible safe locations!

Spent some time enjoying the impressive views because these ones weren't able to be captured on my iPhone lying in my pocket with its dead battery.

Another nice one goosebumpers.

Last time I was here this little baby had gone AWOL. Happy to report that today it was at home. Luckily I had my Leatherman because it was definitely out of finger reach. I was a little generous putting it back because it it is now reachable - just.

Glad to knock this one on the head. Had happy memories of staying at the caravan park near here last time with Ralph the geo pooch because for some reason he absolutely loved this stretch of beach. Thanks for the cache and the memories

What an awesome beach, so far out and yet with great facilities. GZ showed a great cache hiding spot but it was empty (again). I've put another box in, about 1 metre north of the previous nest, under a very low branch of a tree, next to the trunk, and covered with some bark. There's been lots of muggle activity nearby but this one should escape their notice.

Thanks espercache. This is one special area with extensive homestead and the facilities plus what looks like some great surfing areas.

This was obviously set by someone with a bit of local knowledge because access to the cache area can be very hazardous. Once I'd got to the general area of GZ I was already worried bout there being so much granite because so many people come unstuck with getting accurate GPS readings. After a lot of work I got a consistent GZ half way between an ant's nest and a very fragile bush. Nothing to be seen. Tried to avoid damaging undergrowth as I widened my search but it was difficult.

Would suggest the cache owner check their GPS averaging and, given the fragile nature of the bush give a wider clue. As to anyone attempting this cache go towards the sea round the rocks keeping GZ to your right until you get right round. Leave the little kids at home.

What a beautiful secluded little beach. Like the previous logger I had forgotten my bathers but the water was too tempting not to do a great white whale impression. Lovely spot. Thanks Elmofreak

Was fortunate enough to be spending the night at this great little beach. After setting up camp and saying g'day to the resident roos I wandered off to make the find. A nice trail with lovely views. Thank you

Last time I'd been here the climb was closed after rain. After doing the climb I can see the need for a dry footing!
Had preloaded this onto my device ages ago while it still showed finds. Got to the top, couldn't find it and then checked the listing because up here you get good signal. Only then noted the DNF's and regretted leaving my bag with replacement boxes back in the car.
Still a great spot even with a missing cache

Drove down from the Balladonia end and the corrugations were a bit hard on the teeth even though I'd let a lot of air out of the tyres. What a surprise the homestead was. With all the beds plus the neatly swept floors it's as though the owners have just gone down to the back paddock. I'm glad everyone respects this trust.
The cache was nicely hidden though broken as mentioned but I didn't have a suitable size replacement container (a small ammo box would be ideal). So it was out with the gaffer tape for a bit of a fix up job.
Heading south there'd been some rain and the road definitely required 4WD.
An absolutely delightful location and I'd like to return for a bit of a camp and to explore the tracks and lookouts shown on their mud map. Thanks Kybra for a top cache

Now that is a fixer upper! Nice overnight camp spots here. Thanks for the break.

Set up my camp in the excellent grounds then set out for some late afternoon caching. Unfortunately the cache had an inch of water in it and there was no way I could get anything dry so it went back with a very wet log book. Great views from the walk

Enjoying a late afternoon walk on the coastal trail, I was very happy to be able to make a grab on this one. Simply superb location especially in the late afternoon light

This cache combines two of my favourite things - a very early cache plus in a remote location. Thanks Jim and Chris for helping start this game we all love

How good is that! A winding track which opens up onto spectacular bit of coast, so different to the cliffs just back to the east. Great cache guys - very special

Lovely old place. Loved the pressed tin ceilings in particular. Dingo trap by the back gate reminds us of some of the hardship. Thanks heaps for the slight diversion

Wow, those tanks are amazing. Great spot

Found it ok and enjoyed the info board and the break. Thanks heaps

Needed a walk after driving all day so came from town on the beach. Made hard of the find but eventually got it. A bit damp inside so I waved it in the breeze a bit. Saw a good train going past. Don't know what the locos are or what they were hauling but it was a great sight. Thanks for the walk, the cache and the views

Nice break on way back to WA. No travellers in residence today

Now that was interesting. Lots of community involvement!

GZ had me at an excellent hiding spot which was empty. Have replaced cache with small Sistema. An excellent spot and may well camp here in future

How neat is that. A camo I've never seen before. Plus an unexpected FTF as I pass through on way home to WA. Great work and I wish I had those construction skills

07-Aug-14
Gardeners or muggles? Who knows. But I think it's gone

Thanks CO for your quick response. Really enjoyed my visit to this site. It was lunchtime and four cars were pulled up with the occupants sitting inside. How they could resist wandering about these bits of natural beauty I do not know. Very interesting cache, well done

Oh yeah. That's an interesting dump and a very cute hide. Thanks for the fun

How come I never seem to find the easy way up to caches like this. Anyway managed to get to the top and make the find. It was only when I went to take a photo of that great view that I realised I'd lost my camera on the way up. If anyone finds a small Olympus in a grey case it's mine. With all the photos from five weeks of deserts and mountains. HELP PLEASE. I spent a lot of time looking but having not done the easier path (which I found once at the top) it was needle in the haystack stuff.
So thanks for a great climb and view and keep fingers crossed that someone finds my camera

It was fascinating exploring round here and reading of the history and the geology. Thanks Liz and Bruce

Camped at Angorichina and had just enough daylight left to enjoy a great walk up the river to the cache and back. Memorable experience and specially impressed that the cave had little stalactites. No way was I going further into that cave. Couldn't imagine being anywhere near flexible enough if a quick exit was called on. Great cache. Thank you Frozen Feet

A truly magic drive through here and some of the trees just took your breath away with their battle scars. Loved it

Nice little climb up to a good vantage point. Thanks guys

Managed to take an intermediate level climb up which added a bit of excitement to my day. Great view. Cache has no rock over it but left as I found it. Thanks heaps

Such a lovely spot being one of the few with water. Unfortunately the high winds that made my tent almost blow away were ripping up the gorge. It was just a little bit too exciting on the narrow bit of the incline so decided to exercise some restraint. Still it's not just about numbers and this is a fantastic place so thanks for enticing me here
As a postscript, got back to camp and my robust, indestructible tent was mangled and flat on the ground. Yep, it was a bit windy.

What a bunch of wallys Burke and Wills were! I glad that King was a bit sensible and came out of it all in one piece. Thanks for this bit of history

Camped down on the creek so wandered over to make the find. Luckily all roads were open for us

Enjoyed the info even if I didn't understand the technical stuff. Glad there's people smarter than me who come up with innovative ideas. Thanks Parente

Coming south from Boulia by light of day so no lights seen. Observed that it was much warmer on the north of the creek than the south. Tropic of Capricorn must be real. Either that or it was because the cold southerly was being blocked by the tree line. Thanks Astro for the cache
