Logs for Parko's
08-Nov-23
We were here in 2018 and can't believe how much it has changed. We didn't do any caching on that trip, so today we thought we'd turn this into a smiley. Found after a short hunt. Thanks for bringing us back here
Decided to walk to Hartz Peak today and found this along the way. Unfortunately log has turned to mush and unable to get it out from its home. Have added a pic

Walking past the area and with no muggles in sight, we didn't need a cloak for this one. Took over to the seat to add out names and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache

Not sure we like the name of this walk, but certainly loved the walk itself. We took a little while before the cache was located. Thanks thehunnybunnys
Gorgeous view. Mr Parko found after a short hunt. Logbook a little damp but still able to add our names. Thanks for the cache The Hancock Clan
We were hoping to get to this one but there was a tree across the road and no way we could get through. Hopefully we will be back in the area one day to explore more of this beautiful spot.
We heard about this cave and stopped by for a look see. We really enjoyed our walk here and gathering our answers. Thanks membsec for putting this earthcache out
We had completed the lab before heading out to see Gordon Dam and thought we would do this on our way back. Didn't take long to spot what we were looking for. Thanks membsec
So glad we took the detour to take a walk in this forest. We have seen some big trees, but none quite like this. Cache was out a little from its hidey hole. Signed log and rehid back under. Thanks for the cache Tassie Trekkers
No joy for us today. We found where we thought it should be, but came up empty handed. Hopefully it is a case of cache blindness. Thanks Tassie Trekkers
We found this on our way the visit the caves. Mrs Parko is not a fan of anything hanging, she just has so much trouble. Very happy this one was found. Thanks OldSaint
Mr Parko read about this cache and thought it might be fun to give it a go. Took a bit to find the correct road to access the cache and after we had explored the forest, we stopped in here. Mr Parko did all the work and not long and the cache was in hand. Was a little water logged but still dry enough to scribble our names in the log. We had to laugh to see the previous find was 1 year ago yesterday. We should have stopped in yesterday Thanks membsec, we think this one deserves another favourite point for the fun

We decided to take a drive a little further South and stopped for a few caches along the way. This one was quite wet, but we managed to get our name in the logbook. Thanks Tassie Trekkers

We have done the three falls walk several years ago, but found ourselves here again today walking this trail. Cache was found reading previous logs. We too were looking on wrong side of track. Thanks Sue&Peter
Found after waiting out some muggles. Some of the trees in this forest are just remarkable. Thanks Sue&Peter
Lucky Mr Parko had some sense about him today. He found it after a short search. Thanks Sue&Peter
Wow, what a stunning spot. Cache container has survived the recent burn that looks to have gone through here. Thanks Budgietas

We were so interested in the bridge we nearly forgot we came here for a cache. Lucky Mrs Parko remembered and turned back. Cache was found after a short hunt. Lots of cars in the carpark doing the hike on this long weekend. Looks like a gorgeous mountain, maybe one day. Thanks for bringing us here Gekko 1
Well this as definitely worth the walk up the hill. Cache was found after a short search. Thanks Prionotes

No joy for us today. Looked in all the places we thought it would be to no avail. Hopefully this one hasn't been muggled. Thanks RichDani
What a beautiful walk. Had to wait for some muggles to pass and when the coast was clear added our names to the logbook. Took trackable to move on. Thanks 2y'stassies
We came here just before sunset and had the place to ourselves. After having a look at the lookout, we set about gathering our answers. It is a fantastic view here, really enjoyed our stop. Answers have been emailed. Thanks Butterfly_lady

Wow, what an awesome hike. We heard Cradle Mountain was expecting snow, so we changed plans and made our way to hopefully catch the snow while we were there. On our second day we decided to do Crater Lake and got off the shuttle bus at Ronny Creek. What a great choice. We made our way up and along and with the weather getting clearer and clearer, we decided to go up to Marion's Lookout. What a spectacular view we got. We set about gathering our answers and then climbed a little further. We made it back in just under 3 hours and absolutely will not forget this climb. We are now keen to do the Cradle Mountain summit hopefully one day soon. Thanks Team Zawadzki a favourite point coming your way

Well this place is a hidden treasure. It was raining, but that didn't bother us and we had the place to ourselves. Unfortunately the log is absolute mush and I didn't have any replacement paper with me on this walk unfortunately. Didn't take long to spot the cache. Thanks Angus88
This one is most likely there but I only gave it a half hearted look as we were in a hurry and the rain had well and truly set in this morning while I was looking, so decided to give up and head to the van to dry off.

We were driving The Tarkine Drive and after spending the night at a nearby campsite, this was our first stop for the day. It was drizzling, so with rain jackets on, we decided to see what this lake was all about. We really enjoyed our walk here and set about gathering our answers. It was interesting reading the information boards learning about the area. Thanks TeamSwampy for placing this Earthcache
Our second day driving through this beautiful area and stopped here for a look see. Absolutely stunning and the reflection on the water made it even more stunning. Answers have been sent. Thanks Jump Pilot
Lovely little stop here to watch the water flowing through. Didn't take too long to spot this one. Thanks Tassie Trekkers
Wow, absolutely stunning here. We were blown away when we seen the arch and the water. We spent some time admiring it all before gathering our answers. Thanks Tassie Trekkers, a favourite point coming your way
This afternoon we were headed on The Western Explorer and Mr Parko was so looking forward to it. We were not aware of the caches on this route until we started. We tried to stop at each one, which made our journey longer, but more enjoyable. What an amazing drive! We absolutely loved it in our 2wd campervan, potholes and all. Found without any problems. This was the only log which needed replacing, due to the fact it was missing. all other caches we in good condition. Thanks Angus88
