Thank you for the lovely idea of a virtual. That one was quickly done on my last day at Melbourne (although I had to correct the number....).TFTCacheld

If I remember right, I looked in vain here on my last visit to Melbourne. This time, it lasted a bit as well, but after fokussing on spots, where something magnetic could stick, it worked. This place definitely needs a cache. TFTCacheld

Today, on my last day at Melbourne, I did some caches round Flinders Street Station. This one was one of them directly after arriving. The answers could be found rather easy (and were hopefully correct ??).TFTCacheld

That was a nice hiding spot. In my opinion, the best I saw during our Australia trip. Therefore, I'd like to leave a here.TFTCacheld

On our road trip from Brisbane to Sydney, we had planned a stop at Lane Cove on the campsite close-by.Of course, I had seen this cache already during preparation. When we arrived at the site, our spot "fortunately" wasn't prepared yet. That meant we had to cover a small hour of waiting time. What an occasion! We had a little walk to that "area around GZ" and collected all required information (hopefully). When we went down the stairs again, we met the next geocacher who started counting. Seems to be a very popular place. Thanks for showing the place and maintaining Australia's oldest cache - which is now my oldest one as well. Therefore, I'd like to leave a here.TFTCacheld

When visiting the opera, we took the time to look for a cache as well.Due to the perfect hint description, this one was no problem.Thank you for showing us the place.TFTC acheld

When we had a small lunch at the waterfront, I started to have a look, if there might be geocaches around. Result: There was one in the distance of 22m! - This one. ??Of course, we had to log that! Thanks to the detailed description in the hind, we were able to get it in seconds. I used the included little pencil not having a pen with me.TFTCacheld

The afternoon became boring.... - Why not looking for a geocache as a kind of intermezzo? So we started for a little walk to this one. And now it is the first one of this series that I could find with the first attempt. The right spot directly jumped into my eye. Getting the bison tube out wasn't a problem really.TFTCacheld

Again succeeded on the second try. Crawled deeper in the green (full of snakes? ) and finally I saw exactly what I was looking for all the time. Should it really be there? Or did someone simply throw it into the green?Anyway, got it and logged it. (Photo log due to missing pen.)TFTCacheld

Yesterday, we failed here.Today, I walked around to take some photos and came along this place as well.I looked a bit and recognized an object that fitted to the hint. Unfortunately unreachable.Really? A minute later, I had the bison box in my hands... TFTCacheld

After a walk through the town and along the shore (with 2 other geocaches ) and after a rest at the campsite, we decided for another short walk to Nobbys Beach - were we had a look at another cache: this one.The answers were rather easy to find (would have been even easier, if some lunatic hadn't covered the board with white vernice, but nevertheless it worked), and we enjoyed the short walk to GZ.Here, the right place and the small box wasn't hard to find.TFTCacheld

That was a pretty cool hiding spot. Interesting version of a magnetic cache. We had to look for a while. While searching, an old lad came along, sat on the bench (fortunately on the other side ) and told us stories about his life and wanted to hear our stories. While my wife was talking to him, I could find and log the cache secretly. TFTC acheld

What a big box on such a crowded spot! Easy found due to the detailed hint!TFTCacheld

Today we started at Brooms Head and drove along the M1/A1 southbound to Port Macquarie (with a nice stop at the Wharf Street Caf at Nambucca Heads ).After arriving we had a short walk along the coastal path and had a refreshing beer at the Sandbox at Flynns Beach. On the terrace we found out that there was a cache - even a multi - exactly here. Point 1 and 2 where found rather quickly (although the coordinates where not 100% precise, but good enough), and after a quick calculation and a short walk we were standing directly in front of a promising tree. We quickly found the suspicious branch and the box. Logbook is in good condition. Finally a box that is big enough for my TB. Good journey further on. Thanks for the nice little challenge. I'd like to leave a here.TFTCacheld

On our today's trip to the red riffs, we came along this earth cache and did our best to a swer the questions.TTCacheld

Today, we did a walk from Brooms Head to this lovely viewpoint on the read cliff.Although forbidden meanwhile (dangerous rock shelf) I climbed over the fence and went to GZ. (Didn't seem too dangerous for me.)At the hiding spot I needed two attempts to find it (where the he'll is the real base of that tree?), but finally I saw it.Not having my own pen with me, I took the one from the box and now my log is written with yellow on white ).TFTCacheld

On our today's hike to the lighthouse we got caught by a rainshower. Nevertheless we managed to find this little one.TFTCacheld

Today, our program was a walk to the lighthouse. We could find this one quickly before the rain came. When we reached the lighthouse, we were really wet.TFTCacheld

Today we visited the Lighthouse and this earth cache in the pouring rain.I hope our answers were acceptable. Thanks for showing the place. TFTCacheld

Dieser Geocacher hat gemeldet, dass der Behlter beschdigt ist.

Today in the late afternoon, we did a walk around Noosa Hill. Of course we had to look for this one during the hike. The box was found rather fast, but is in a bad condition. Box and cover are defect. So, I didn't leave my TB here.TFTCacheld

Before we returned to the car after our hike, we quickly looked for this one. Due to the hint, it was fairly easy. TFTCacheld

Logbook is full.

Like many loggers before: First, I looked at the obvious spots, then the less obvious, then I had a look at the hint, and then something came into my minde that I had seen before. And there it was. My first one on my Australian trip this time. (And maybe the most eastern one I ever logged.)By the way: The log stripe is full.TFTC acheld

After two weeks in Australia we had seen a lot of wild animals, but surprisingly no cangaroo.

So, we tried to force it and drove before sunset to Lysterfield Lake. Of course it worked. Wink

And additionally we found this nice little geocache.

Very tricky.

After having had a closer look at the pier and taking some photos, I looked for this cache.

I followed the path and was really surprised: What a nice historic place and what a lovely view!

Then I looked for the cache and it turned out to be really tricky! But then a certain point fell into my eyes. - What a nice, tricky idea!

This one was definitively the nicest cache I could find today, and therefore I love to leave a blue heart here in the box.

This on could be found at the second try.

First we didn't find. Then we had a lovely lunch at the nice restaurant close-by, and afterwards I found some nice caches of this series there.

It seemed, meanwhile I had a feeling for the owner's ideas, so I returned and had a second look here. After a short search I held the nicely hidden box in my hands. Big Grin

That is a tricky one, but with luck I recognized it rather quickly and could log it easily, since the place was rather quiet this afternoon. (At least nobody cared about me. Wink)

On our way to Sorrento we stopped this morning at Arthur's Seat, enjoyed a great view over the bay, had a nice walk - and found this nice little cache. Smile

Unfortunately I had forgotten my pen in the car, so I had to use the old, small, green one that was in the box. I hope the log is readable.

Thanks for showing this nice place.

Today we had a wonderful day at Wilsons Prom.

From the park we crossed the Tidal River and climbed up to this wonderful viewpoint. Nice challange. Wink - Being at the point I enjoyed a little break and took the chance to look, if there might be geocache around. And recognized that there was one 11 m away!!! Big Grin

The rest was easy, although the box is well hidden - and really new. (At least the logbook is. We could log as second.)
This one is now my most southern geocache.
