Oooh a bit of a hairy one for me! Found it in the end, pro tip: no need to go bushwhacking! It must look very weird to see an adult lurking around the bushes next to a preschool… tftc 

Definitely not a sistema container, more like pill container no need to go “down” to find it 

No tools found but still managed to get it out after thinking a little outside of the box. Tftc 

Cheers! Last time I was in Whangamomona was as a little girl, probably no older than 8 years old… now I’m 29! Still looks the same as I remember though! 

Found it this time last time I tried that cache wasn’t there… happy to tick this off tftc

With nothing but overgrown grass, road side litter and an old electric fence handle to be found, no ammo can to be seen or felt! Will have to try again when I come back to Taranaki 

Quite a fitting cache for me as O am originally from Taranaki, but have since moved to Christchurch. Tftc!

Went down the river, looking for a “w” shaped tree… found it, had to go back to the river and try again! Great cache! Lots of spider webs though! 

Walked straight past it but the sun was shining so I looked behind me and found a glint in the bush! Tftc! Also needs the log book replaced as it is full 

Tis quite a mission and a lot of kicking to try to find it. I suggest bringing something like a stick to move the bush away 

Rather “conspicuous” it’s inconspicuous! Tftc! Looks like someone lives on site or has access, lots of cars and dogs there

Just out for a random drive, thought a memorial in the middle of nowhere would have a cache and it did! TFTC

Lots of red herrings around here! In the other logs one cacher says the cache is getting old, and it is… couldn’t open it even with a tool! (PS you don’t need a tool to find the cache)

Drowned cache, container and plastic bag with log was full of water. I think last finder didn’t close the container properly. Make sure to cover the cache afterwards 

Cache is a little wet, drained it out though , paper still able to be written on. TFTC

I remember this one from New Plymouth! Such a great use of old equipment. What a throwback! 

My grandfather is buried at the cemetery across the road so I thought I’d get this geocache while visiting 

Didn’t have to look too hard to find this geocache. Wow I can’t believe this hasn’t been found since 2017!!! I’m in town for holiday as I now live in Christchurch and wanted to get out and about and this cache certainly did that! 

Second time trying to find this cache, the first time being a few years ago when I was new to geocaching. Just gotta keep looking! 

Almost need gumboots to get to the cache, the drain is a bit boggy! Saw a wild goat while retrieving the cache. Hearing noises this far in the middle of nowhere is a bit disconcerting! Tftc!

A few slugs and spiders hanging round the container, but that isn’t going to stop me from getting my 300th find! 

Certainly been a while since I’ve been in the area and I think last time I tried to find this, there were way too many muggles! But got it this time around! Tftc 

A nice sized cache in a pretty cool area. Tftc! 

This road is relatively quiet, but today, there was a car in front of me all the way from New Plymouth that just so happened to pull into the drive where the cache is... I couldn’t turn in so I carried on and made a u-turn further down the road to finally find it. Tftc!

Greeted with a rainbow to find this cache! 

Didn’t know this tunnel existed until today! Highly recommend shoes that don’t slip off easily. Cache needs some attention, the lid is broken. Tftc
