Had a look at this one knowing we were going to be in the area, and had a pretty good idea of what was required. Once I had found the correct way to interpret the information some numbers came out pretty quickly. I did het stuck for a couple of minutes before getting the Checker to agree, but thankfully all was well.Quick find once at GZ, been a while since I've seen one of these! Thanks for the fun

Managed to sign the log fairly quickly once I clued in on the hint. Thanks for the fun!

While back in town briefly, took the opportunity to come out of retirement for one final job with the BETA SQUAD! Indeed there is a very wise list of things to bring in the description, of which I had none. Some may ask why I was wearing deck shoes, shorts and a drippy shirt and overshirt combo. So in preparedness I was definitely a beta, but in style, definitely an ALPHADeadthief spent a lot of the time complaining about how his style was not, and could not ever reach the levels that he witnessed today, which was understandable. Sounds like a skill issues (eat more fish tacos and level up BRUH). In fact, last night I made fish tacos, but they just looked at them and swam away. Clearly, they were not Mexican. Once we got toward the end of the cache, Turtle, being the only one of us in the moment who actually possessed the coordinates we needed, halted us all to watch what he referred to as "The gun-show". He proceeded to demonstrate bodybuilder poses alongside emphatic grunts while talking about how alpha his muscles are and how beta the rest of us were. Spit vociferously flew from his mouth, like an inter-continental-ballistic-missile aimed at the nearest "Non-Chad Beta". I'll be the first to admit that his whole speech was erudite and persuasive, quite the skill of rhetoric! I got a photo of Turtle during the whole ordeal and have posted it for the viewing pleasure of all. Hopefully deadthief can learn to smash an egg with his biceps like his pater! Shortly after being emasculated, we got back to our walk and had the cache in hand. Thanks for the adventure Loci, it was great to see you at the event too!

While in town, I definitely had to stop for this one. I took a long break from watching footy, by which time JT had retired. So in quite a boring fashion I have to say that my favourite moment of JT is his everyday commentary. Thanks for the fun, I look forward to coming back and watching a game here at some point in the future!

Found on day one of my Townsville trip. I could certainly feel the warmer climate up here, but some of the views around town are phenomenal, the water is really clear in parts!I was informed by some fellow previous finders of there encounter with a rather large snake when they found this one, and so I approached GZ with caution, but thankfully, (and unsurprisingly) the snake was no longer around. Thanks for the fun!

#4298 [FTF] with Nyssaflutterby and YetiNZSaw a new challenge cache was published, and made the assumption that I would not qualify, and subsequently ignored the notification. Soon after, I received a text message from Nyssa, who indeed confirmed that I do in fact qualify should I wish to join the hunt. Knowing how competitive the FTF scene is, I left the house immediately. This perhaps, was a very foolish decision as I was in thongs and no rain jacket. Which did prove to add to the challenge. Quick drive and park, and a 'perilous' (I already nearly fell over) walk to the trailhead, where initially, we began with a bush bash. A quick peek on satellite view showed that we were indeed mistaken. Once we went to the trail, we were soon then at GZ, and were soon joined by YetiNZ, congrats on your first FTF outside of NZ. Fairly soon we had the cache in hand. Thanks for the fun! [injuryman](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=injuryman) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCAW32M/90960 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if he qualified for this challenge and he did."7 unique years and sizes hidden before 31 December, 2006." #4289After a reasonable time browsing, and swapping a book for one that contained 3 novels (courtesy of Nyssa) was able to locate the hide. Quite a large street library, which I am all for. +1 Fav point. If you're curious, the novels were: "Frankenstein", "Dracula" and "The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde".
