As per my found log, the logbook here has been soaked through in recent rains and is in need of replacement!
As per my found log, the logbook is soaked through and the cache has a considerable amount of dirt inside, so needs a checkup!

While no licking took place, this was a fantastic tour around a location that I've passed through hundreds of times in the past few years but never taken a close look at!
While the old adage that Geocaching will take you to places that you never knew existed rings true, it seems this can also be extended to Geocaching will teach you things about places you see all the time.
Had a blast intricately observing the granite while many a confused North Tce onlooker walked past, and had a similar blast while doing some research about the formation process of granite once I arrived back home so that I could nicely format my observations into answers to the questions (now submitted)

Having been around this area for many years, I knew it was of significance, but never enquired as to why, so thank you for bringing me here to learn about the history of this site, and the stories to be told about it.
As for the cache, I spent some time wandering back and forth checking several locations but to no avail. Arriving at GZ it seemed recently disturbed, so reading the recent logs further identified that the cache been relocated to a nearby tree hollow by some previous finders. Expanding my search to those however yielded nothing. One to revisit another day!

Having not read the notes to approach from Eurilpa St, or consulting the topographical map that would have also advised me otherwise, I decided to approch this one from the carparking at Baeckea Pl, so that I'd be parked in a central location to also grab the two other easy traditionals in nearby Ashby reserve.
Of course, this necessitated traversing the steep gully to make my way to the cache, however the view was worth the trek, and I enjoyed the camo used here.
Unfortunately, the recent rains in the area have saturated the log making it difficult to sign, but I managed it.

One of three in my trip to Watiparinga/Ashby reserves, and an easy find on some mercifully flat terrain after I had previously traversed some of the gullys, having chosen to park at Baeckea Pl, some distance from this one.
No koalas were seen today, although the particularly loud grunts of one could be heard while on the walking trail.
The logbook of the cache was slightly damp, but still very much signable, but appears to be getting full - might be due to a swap out soon.

A quick and easy find on a pleasant Saturday morning after visiting the Lions Club secondhand shop nearby, only being slightly jumpscared!
An open space nearby the cache has flourished with wildflowers coming into spring, even though they may not entirely be welcome in this reserve of native vegetation. Flowers appear to be white harlequin flowers, with a spattering of invasive cape tulips throughout.

Having not consulted the topographical map that would have also advised me otherwise, I decided to approch this one from the carparking at Baeckea Pl, so that I'd be parked in a central location to also grab the cache Drop Zone not far from here.
Having found that one first, by treking in and out of a gully twice over to find it, I then made my way back towards this hide, only to discover that it was across yet another gully - my cunning plan of parking in one location for this park had put my car on the ridge adjacent to the two others that actually contained the caches I was hunting.
Considering my options, I concluded that I could either walk the longer fire track route around, or traverse the gully. Finding what appeared to be a stepped rock waterfall (thankfully not flowing) shortly down the fire track, I used it to make my way down into the gully before climbing what seemed to be a 40 degree slope out the other side. I perhaps should have just taken the track...
The cache was an easy find on the climb out, although I did spend a while trying to reconcile the description before realising that the bush described wouldn't remotely resemble the way that it was described over 21 years ago! - A true testament to this caches longevity.

Yet another part of Eden Hills that I wasn't aware was here, and some stunning views out to the gulf from the carparking on the road.
The cache was located easily after a short walk over, and I enjoyed a lovely sitdown in the tranquil park while attempting to sign the log. Unfortunately the log has been soaked through, almost to the point of being unable to sign, almost.
It also seems that an amount of dirt has made it's way into the cache, and a half dozen or so slater bugs are now calling the logbook home.

Another one of those little hideaway reserves that it's easy to miss if not for Geocaching.
Having missed the slightly obvious way to make the initial approach to this one, along the kindy fenceline, I charged in further east and had my legs aquaint themselves with some pointy sticks before finding my way over to the the path well trodden.
A quick find was made after some circles of GZ were made to confirm location accuracy under the treeline. As many others have mentioned, the inside of the container is damp, and one side of the cache is cracked. Signed the log as best I could.

More depth provided in my found log, but this container seems to be prone to letting water in during heavy rain and the log has been soaked.
A logbook replacement seems needed at a minimum, but a more waterproof container wouldn't go astray either!

A quick find on my commute home this evening, just as the rain was starting to roll in and the smell of petrichor was in the air.
I've also got a slight personal connection to the tower in question, both through my grandfather having been part of the radio engineering team responsible for it's construction, but also through my enjoyment of Amateur Radio as another hobby.
Thanks as ever for the cache Lava12

A quick find in the evening on my commute home from work.
Thank you for bringing me to a park that I must have driven past more times than I can count, but had no idea was even there.
Unfortunately is seems that the recent rains have not been kind to this cache, and the bottom had filled with a few millimeters of water. The coin left by a previous finder was thankfully keeping it from being submerged, but it was still quite damp and mouldy.

Having not read the description before setting out to find this one, the creative container really caught me off guard and made me smile. A great way to turn what could have been a pretty standard hide into something unique. TFTC
Like many others before me, the tool did take a little while to find, but the cache was quickly located soon after. Definitely a unique hide. TFTC
After rain last night, the wetlands were chock full and the ground was rather swampy. Nonetheless, the find was made quickly. Excellent Camo, TFTC
A very well crafted cache and one of a few finds for the day. After recent rains, the ants seem to like it too, so take care. TFTC
A quick find sans puzzle and GPS, although I did find the previous cache here a number of years ago. The "Hint" with regards to the choice of puzzle confirmed the same location, but then again, I am a local. TFTC

Found on a little walk after work. I too spent a little too long looking at my feet. Camo was a nice surprise.
The travel bug in inventory wasn't in the cache, so might need to be reported missing.
The rubber seal on the cache itself has some damage and therefore the cache has taken on water. Log is rather wet and so I had to jump to somewhere in the middle to find a dry spot to sign, might need some TLC in the near future.

Checked on cache today, due to reports of works happening to the sign. Cache was still there, however the log has been swamped due to the recent heavy rains, Log will be replaced and cache should be active again in a few days

Found today by accident while looking at the windmill. Cache seems to have been replaced, as the container found does not match that of the description. Cache is also right out in the open and not well camouflaged to surroundings. Finders will not need to enter the tower to find this cache. Attention may be required, as it appears that the council is doing up the surroundings as GZ is quite significant to local heritage. Could required the cache to be moved to prevent from being muggled

Appears that the cache has been replaced, as it does not match the description given. Cache is wide out in the open, evident by the fact that we stumbled upon it while looking at the windmill. Local council seems to be landscaping around the windmill, including new stairs, as the site is of local heritage. Cache should probably be moved to a more hidden location nearby so that it isn't discovered by council workers or the general public.

Unfortunately, the train was not on time. But that meant we had enough time to snag this one while waiting to pick up relatives returning to Adelaide on The Ghan

Found on the saturday of the nearby OzMega, One of 67 for the day, 63 Caches in the Wandering Heroes Series Were found, The other four were found in the surrounding district.
Wandered right through the OzMega campground because the GPS said so (at least i didn't get any strange looks) and started rummaging around GZ not noticing the barrel serving as a temporary cache at my feet, a nearby cacher pointed out that the barrel was there temporarily as 800 people couldn't sign a logbook in a micro.
