Obviously the cache is a write off when the dam is full and knowing how steep the sides are in this area I believe that it would be dangerous in wet conditions even if the water level was lower.
For safety and practical reasons this cache needs to be archived.
Thank you for video showing the area as it now stands.
Rob.

It has been a long time since attending a caching event. Looking forward to hearing a few tales about the OzMega.

Hi there, please leave the Treasure Me That trackable in the cache. As trackable owner I will be picking this up to bring back home for safe keeping.

A nice Christmas day find on our holiday to Fiji at the nearby Sheraton. We approached the cache from along the beach (in hot humid conditions) and my initial thoughts were that the cache was on golf course land. We got to the fenceline and I realised we would have to be on the other side. We walked back towards the water and straddled over a gate.
Surprisingly enough my son spotted a suspicious and exposed container 46m from GZ. I thought he was playing a joke on me but when opened up the log paper was there. Cache log is exactly 50% full so there is room for about 30-40 more names.
I also dropped 2 pathtags in hoping that there won't be intercepted by other fingers...
The co-ords for this location are as follows:
S 17.46.966 E 177.22.046
Photographs of all signatures on cache log have been sent to cache owner for evaluation. If you have signed the cache you don't have to worry.
Cheers and many thanks for the cache.

I am heading to the nearby local Sheraton hotel during the Xmas period. Definitely have plans on finding this cache.
Will bring along a couple of different good cache containers and empty logs in case it is required.
Cheers!

I haven't logged this cache for a while but my family and I found this one on the Canberra long weekend getaway. We enjoyed finding a few large cicadas in the nearby gums and walked down the steep stairs to the 3 Sisters afterwards.

Have found these caches before so it was an obvious spot. Good though as the road was busy. Found as we were leaving the area on the way home to Canberra. Many thanks for the cache!

A nice easy find with son on a nice sunny day after a good morning swim with family at Mollymook Beach. Previous logs gave me a good understanding where the cache was hidden. Many thanks for the cache!

The last long weekend away from Canberra before the cold weather sets in. A nice late afternoon stroll after a long drive. Cache is all good but will run out of logging space soonish.

Ok everyone - all these complaints about how hard it is has made me reconsider it and thus it is now a 4 terrain rating. I am glad that blood and tissue biologically deteriorate quite well otherwise it would make a lovely CSI scene!
Cheers and thanks to all that have and will do this cache!

A quick find by son and I as people were blissfully unaware of our presence. Cheers and thanks for the cache!
A lovely sunny day that found us at Tuross Heads for a swim on the local beach before heading back home. A quick find and then we headed out to the point to enjoy the view. Cheers and many thanks for the cache!

This cache took me a little bit longer to find due to my gps being a good 7m off. Cache eventually found and signed. Dropped of trackable found up at Port Douglas, QLD. Cheers and thanks for the cache!
After a very hot day the day before we found today quite cool for a summer day. A drive by the area for a view and a cache was the main goal before going for a swim on the beach a little bit further south. Cache all good. Cheers and many thanks for the cache.

A visit for a weekend down the South Coast led us to this cache on a very hot 42C lunchtime find. Took a little while to find in the heat and hot rocks but we got there. Cheers and thanks for the cache!

Had to come to Atherton from Cairns as my son really wanted to visit the Crystal Cave shop. After cracking 2 geodes and buying a few different crystals my wife allowed me to make this quick find before heading back to Kuranda to see a few other tourist areas. Cache all in good order and glad to have made one find in this area. Cheers and TFTC!

This cache took me a few days to find as I could only get to the waypoints when given an opportunity during a busy holiday here.
Final cache location had me scratching my head for a while when working out best approach but after a little bit of backtracking I finally got to GZ and enjoyed the view.
I have left a my pathtag from my keyring for the next finder. This is a well used pathtag so when the person logs it via its website I'll contact them and provide a brand new one to them.
Took both trackables to find a new cache back here in Canberra.
TFTC!

This was a rewarding find as my GPS had somehow decided to remove the details from its memory and thus I was only armed with the memory of the cache hint as well as it being about 15.1km from Port Douglas where I had been reading the details in a restaurant from 2 nights previously.
Not much to go by as there was 2 possible track areas to search on the route but after examining a number of possibilities the cache was FINALLY found! YIPPEE!!!!! This cache being my furthest northern cache. Everything in good order but a little moisture is getting in making the log book slightly damp. Cheers and thanks for the walk in this great area of the Daintree.

An early rise to get a couple of caches this morning before we headed out to Mossman Gorge. Have come across this type of cache before but the local ants made my life just a tad more interesting. Cache all in good order. TFTC!
First early cache attempt for the morning but was initially thwarted with some people waiting around for a tennis match. Came back 30 minutes later after visiting another nearby cache to finally make the grab. Everything all in good order but made sure that the cache was less exposed to anyone passing by. Cheers and TFTC!
I had attempted to get this cache 2 days earlier from Pebbly Beach but had to pull back from it due to a waiting family. This time we gave ourselves some time on our trip back to Cairns. Forgot to take the GPS with me (DOH!) as we were only going to have a small walk along the beach but as we got closer my family gave me the go ahead plus they were happy for a longer walk in the end.
After combing the area (and finding a Triangular Station marker on the nearby point) the cache was finally found. WHEW!!!!! Cache all in good order!

While holidaying a Port Douglas we took the opportunity to grab this cache before going for a walk down on the beach. Son loved the rocks and we had a good time. Cache was found in good order and TNLN. TFTC!

A trip up to Cairns/Port Douglas gave me the mandatory opportunity to grab a few caches along the way. This being my first for the region. Wife enjoyed the views while my son and I made the find. Cache found in good order. TNLN and TFTC!

After visiting the Fairy Tale Castle in nearby Bli Bli with my son and wife we decided to head back home via the Bli Bli Yandina road. It has been many, many years (35?) since I have been to this rock so it was a bit nostalgic for me but the views and memories were well worth it. The pontoon was not here back then when we "canoed" down here from Yandina in a makeshift raft of 44 gallon drums and a wood platform
Photos taken by family and great spot to bring people here. TNLN and thanks for the cache!

As my wife was in a nearby suburb visiting a friend I had an opportunity to go cycling with my son to find a couple of caches. Overlooked hiding spot at first even though I saw that it was a bit strange. After a quick look elsewhere came back to it and made the find. My son loved it being the first of this type he has found. Many thanks for the cache!

This cache should not be archived because of its age. If the owner does not respond by the end of the week I'll replace the cache myself.

Found this cache on the 18th or 11th. I live within 200m of this cache yet had let it sit there for some time. Had the opportunity to search for it when coming home early in the morning which basically meant that all I did was check out each of the signs and look for the obvious - and it was!
Many thanks for the cache.

While my son attended a nearby birthday part I made the oppportunity to find a few caches in the area. While tracking down a nearby multi I was moving past this cache and grabbed a find. Cache found in good order and I was on my way. Cheers and thanks for the cache!
