As "Rocket2015 logged on previous we also believe the cache may have been muggled possibly by the bark, bark, woof, woof owners. Perhaps after the next miss its time for some maintenance.
Twice we have called to this cache but to no avail. First time the gate was locked and we did not have time to walk it, second time gate was unlocked but owners we in there logging. Called on the UHF as advised by signage but no reply so thought we had better leave it one more time
Being that we now live just down on Patersonia Road thought we had better get up the hill and log this one. Job done and have broken the dry spell of a few years. The area at GZ has now been logged not a pretty sight.

Found without to much trouble although I have to admit I was looking at the larger of the two... Took nothing left Geocoin PC7NY1.

Found this one on our way bushwalking at Cuckoo Falls. "Steps to go up to the structure" where, no steps that we could see just a very stepp track with a fallen wattle tree. Take care as the fall would land you on the road a little worse for ware. Very prety view, I can remember stopping here as a kid on the way back to Launceston or on the way to family farm at Winnaleah. TFTC.
Nice easy find on the return to Launceston after a long day bushwalking and geocaching.

Well I did this one with my mother (69 years) and the two geopups. Fantastic walk, not too hard but a few steep spots. Cache is in good order not wet and all intacked. Stayed for some time enjoying the water and view. Returned to carpark to enjoy a BBQ (wood fired BBQ at carpark) watch out for the jackjumpers! Nest is on the northern side of the BBQ. TFTC.
Yep we did it too, "wrong side of the fence". Well lots of my family & relatives here, me too one day but I hope not in the near future! Very prety spot to visit but not to stay long as there is always time for that later.

Read previous logs so did not expect cache to be there and it was not. Great place and have been here many time before but not caching. My great grandfather worked on this dam's construction and spend the rest of his life maintaning the Briseis Water Race. Heaps of history in the North East of Tassie. Will fix is not done by next visit.
Out and about bushwalking with my mother (Helen) and her friend (Elizabeth, first time caching) thought we would do some caching on the way to the Blue Tier. This was on the way so decided to drop in as we had not done so before. Glad we did, will return with picnic, fishing rod & bathers next time.... Such a lovely spot, well so many in the area who can count. Left travel bug PKAYQM but took nothing. We will be back soon as we are regulars to the Blue Tier.
Thanks Jonno7264 for the diversion on the way.

Well the whole family failed with this one and we were on a roll today, this is the first one we did not find....
Perhaps we missed it, found a good hole on the top side and assumed that is where it should have been. Will keep my eye on the log and see if anyone else has any probs.
Cheers Rodney and crew.

Arrived and had lunch, what a great venue. Set off around the loop walk of the "White Knights", wow they realy are tall! Returned to picnic area and set off to do the falls loop, equally as enchanting a walk.

Found it!
An easy find, no problems at all.
Unusual Church and Hall next door (now a residence I think), unusual in the fact that I have not seen old style roofing iron used to clad a church before, hall yes but not a church.
We found the cache on arrival and were going to spend some time looking at the headstones of those that rest, also checking to see if being an old church if it was open to have a geek inside but for reasons not listed we did not spend any time at all!.....
Nothing taken, nothing left.
Thanks “Michaels Mob†for the diversion on the way home from another of yours “Just Missed it!!â€.

Found it!
Arrived just before lunch so mother, myself and three geopups started our journey to the tunnel.
What a work of art, as said before in previous entry they really knew how to build things in the old days! Mother can remember riding on the train from Winnaleah to Launceston to see the Queen on her royal visit in 1952.
Yes it is a little damp under foot but our walking boots with a good application of dubbin did keep out the water. The geopups did not mind the water and clay if fact they had a ball…. Needless to say we had to bath all three of them when we got home!
Found the micro cache with lid removed (I assume it was to let it dry out), which seemed to have worked as the co-ordinates were readable. We ventured on to the other end of the tunnel. This tunnel is a very good example of an optical illusion as it does not look to be of any great length. Not sure of the actual length, in fact I have been searching on the net to find some into but have been unsuccessful to date.
Continued out walk for some way along the train line and then down a gravel track leading back to the Golconda road.
Returned to find the cache (taken Embi Coin #13) will log and drop off at new location soon. Had a very enjoyable lunch in the sun, sharing with geopups of course as they were very hungry after the trek along the rail.
Thanks “Michaels Mob†for yet another great cache and an enjoyable day out with mother.

[?] Hi,
Was at your cache recently (arbour with no boats) and picked up a "Travel Bug" but was suprised to find it comes up as "Boris" owner: Leighroy. Yet the inventory of your cache lists "The Climber" owner: yourself.
Perhaps you may be able to shed some light on this. I am reluctant to log picking up the Travel Bug until I am sure which I have.
Looking forward to your reply.
PS. also left you email.
Regards,
Rodney.

Well son Phil found this one after falling off the very large rock located above the cache location. Well he had a few dents in his pride, little blood and skin off the knee but happy that he then went on to find cache. [B)]
