A day out with my daughter... went right to the spot, hunted at ground level then resorted to climbing trees to look under where the pipe is attached... but to no avail, the first in a dissapointing day (see Wild West(erfield) log)...

found cemetary... found final cache location... found thorny tree... found suspicious EMPTY rectangle shaped hole at base of said thorney tree... with lots of flattened grass leading under thorny tree, just an assumption but it may have been flogged??? (daughter is completely dissapointed with geocaching now... it cost me an iceblock and fizzy drink just to stop her moaning) We searched everywhere except in the house... I presumed from the hint "no one at home" we were not to go inside.

After finding out I was not overstepping my boundaries it was an easy find, Elmo took shelter under my daughters(Sophie's) pink umbrella, as the weather was not too good.

- Red Tape
+ Red electronic kids game

I love these caches where you have to go to several places to find clues, Left my swaps bag in the truck before venturing out. So, TNLN.

As I was writing in the log book I heard muggles talking to the north so had to be quick... Put the cache back and pretended to be admiring the view before they rounded the corner, then ran into more muggles returning to the truck BUSY place.

I felt that I was discreet but thinking back I probably looked like a really sus, dodgy character.

Last cache for the day, had heaps of fun.
- micro plane
+ friendship bracelet.

How do you download co ordinates??? I have had to print all the caches I have wanted to find, Used heaps of paper.

Took my wife this time... Same birthday rules as taking my daughter on my first geocache.
NOTE FOR FUTURE HUNTERS.... My GPS is accurate to 1m and IRONICALLY there is a MasterGuard sign at the co ordinates listed, The "G" on the masterguard sign has nothing to do with it.
Heaps of fun even if I had to use the phone a friend option.
You have to be very "secret Squirrel". Items were depleted, so I restocked.
- twisty knot game
+ 1990 20c coin
+ Rubber door stop (new)
+ whistle key chain.

Managed to squeeze another couple in, I think I am addicted.
Excellent co-ordinates.
- kids toy (my daughter loves these caches)
+ Rifle case

Excellent cache.... MY FIRST, I took my daughter as she had no choice because it was my birthday. She loved it. No point taking the geocoin as I am new to this and not certain of what you do with them???
- Can opener
+ Rifle case (to stay with theme)

Lovely evening walk, You are right about the muggles, we had to wait 15 minutes to retrieve the cache. Far too much foot traffic in the domain at 7:30pm.
- Tape measure
+ New Sunnies.
