Logs for smithzonians 

With only minutes to spare Indiana Jill and I hoped we'd be able to find this one fast and we weren't disappointed.

Second try for this one. 4 of us spent nearly an hour looking. Tried to think outside the box. Used previous logs and couldn't figure out the clue. No joy for us today and we cannot think of where else to look. Will keep tracking this one and go back until it is discovered! 

Found with Indiana Jill and my geokidz. I have often wondered what that building was, so thanks for the education : ) 

I'm liking your caches Aussie Liahona! Found with Indiana Jill and enjoyed following your trail, although we later found out that we tried to find a couple that had been archived after we had downloaded info from the computer!! Too funny!

I was the getaway driver for Indiana Jill on this one! She was very discrete so that the huge line of traffic would be none-the-wiser! TFTC. 

Fun hide! Tricky to get cache out but not impossible. Don't think I would have spotted it without the tuna can - it was pretty dark in there! Indiana Jill and I enjoyed this one : ) 

Found whilst in the area with Indiana Jill. Quick find and just as well since I was running late getting the kids from school but couldn't go past this one without trying! 

Nice big cache and great hiding spot in a big park. Kids enjoyed this and the picnic with Indiana Jill. TFTC.

Not a soul in sight on a very rainy day. Had to go back to the car for a torch, but as soon as we had the extra light Indiana Jill and I found it. Would be very hard with muggles around!

Pouring rain + Water dragons everywhere + Man cutting up fallen tree + Trucks roaring past and splashing us + FOUND! = Tons of fun!

Fantastic park and boardwalk through the wetlands. The frogs were serenading us after the heavy rains - we even managed to get a photo of one.
The cache is cleverly located - I overlooked it thinking it was something else! Indiana Jill just stood there while I searched, all the while laughing at me for missing it!

Nearly overlooked this one because I was staring at an unusual piece of glass near it! Indiana Jill directed my attention to the actual cache rather than the fascinating "rubbish" lying around!
Great park. Easy find not too close to where most muggles would be. TFTC. 

Cache has gone MIA after being interfered with a number of times. Will try to place another in this park at a place that will not be so susceptible to muggles.
 

Wow. Great place to breathe in deeply and enjoy creation. I was glad I didn't have to go up any higher though . . . when I saw that ladder I was worried!!

Muggles aplenty - some stealth was required.
No problems finding cache.
Dropped off TB - he looks like a pirate so we thought he would enjoy the ocean views!
Kids enjoyed the playground equipment & we enjoyed shell hunting.

This puts a new spin on Cache In, Trash Out! Too much trash, including a dead feral pig & another huge pig's head. ICK! Made us nervous to poke around for the cache, but couldn't leave empty handed, so on we pressed.
No problems with cache, although there was a broken piece of pvc pipe near it & we thought at first it had been muggled.
Took shell necklace, left key tags.
Won't forget this one in a hurry! TFTC

This really was the road to nowhere! We came at it from the other side & decided to go back out to the highway to get to it - seemed too much like private property from the other side!
Almost gave up, even the kids lost their spark until we went back over an area already searched & voila! There is was!
Great container - it just disappears!
Found with Sandcrab Crew & enjoyed it very much. Nearly muggled by a cane harvester though!

Found while showing new cachers, Sandcrab Crew, the ropes. Thankfully they had a 4WD, otherwise it would have been a long walk!
GPS wasn't quite on the mark & had to look twice - well hidden! Well done!

Great cache in great park. The kids loved finding this one. Log book was a little damp, but useable. TFTC. 

Found cache (thanks Sunshine Toledo) to check on it since it had been interfered with.
Log sheet was still in there dry & safe, but the rest of the container was quite damp.
Dried container, put in silica gel bag to help with moisture & decided to put the TB, coins etc in a small ziplock as well.
Returned cache to original coordinates & hope it's not muggled again!
As of today the cache contains:
1 TB; nz coin; us coin; badge from Logan's sister city in Japan; glow in the dark star. 

Didn't even know this little cemetery existed. The kids enjoyed working out the clues & they led us where we needed to go.
When we found the cache it was full of water. Log book was soggy. We drained it out & left our details on a post-it note.
Tried to put it back in same place but higher up.

A great way to educate the kids (& I!) about this part of Brisy. Didn't get to do the bonus Q's so will have to return. TFTC. 

Coin drop 

A fun find but we were sad to find it very soggy. 

Yum! Enjoyed the bounty with visiting cachers from NZ (Indiana Jill & kayaknkiwi) & waited until just after dusk to search without being spied on by too many muggles.
Almost gave up . . . GPS took us a little to the left & into unchartered territory!

New to caching. Nice to find one at a place we pass almost daily. TFTC. Saw no bats and that's quite ok!!! 

Found with Indiana Jill who was over caching from Auckland. Some of our team had ballet lessons, so we went for a wander instead of waiting. Down the track, round the bend . . . hmmmm, might be there. Look up! Yep! Look down. What's that on the ground? Bits of a cache container because it had peppermint gum in the lid and cache written in white or silver paint on the lid. Good thing we brought an extra container and a cache log sheet with us. Replaced all and tucked it back in place for those who follow. Thanks for the journey into a lovely bush area.
