Logs for strathjack
03-Jan-14
Found it but didn't have a pen to sign (D'oh). Just so you can verify (and yes, I will eventually go back and sign it). The cache was in a blue eclipse, surrounded by cobwebs (heh) and inside was a log with a lime green cover. My son and I left two blue beads in the tin as trinkets for others. Will upload photo of son holding cache when I can get my phone out of his tight little grip.
Found it but didn't have a pen to sign (D'oh). Just so you can verify (and yes, I will eventually go back and sign it). The cache was in a painted eclipse, and wedged in high and tight (I used a stick to whack) and inside was a log with a lime green cover. My son and I left two blue beads in the tin as trinkets for others. Will upload photo of son holding cache when I can get my phone out of his tight little grip. BTW being only 5 foot tall I couldn't replace cache exactly where it was. TFTC

Awwsome fun find. Mind you i had to stretch halfway in and almost climbed in to collect. Darn being so short! All good with cache
You might need to revisit the waypoint clues as numbers are now terribly faded (light post) that you can no longer see last number and toilet block sign has changed so no number in bracket any more. Kids very disappointed to not be able to find properly

Impressive little nano there. Log book still has room to sign on it so all is good with the cache. Found it just after the sun went down. TFTC
Found it quickly tonight whilst out on an evening cache with GeoJr. TFTC. Swapped glow items for christmas sticker. GeoJr has taken the glow items to bed already. All is good with the cache

Came away with only shoes full of sand and grit. GPS couldn't zone in on any one area so checked everywhere and no luck.

Went back today after being foiled by a forklift driver last time. Was hoping to nab my first TB to move onwards but no such luck. I let GeoJr (5) command the gps as I went down to retrieve it. Sadly master 5 told me it was further down the track and I found the thorns of doom. Muttering under my breath I stomped back up towards him when I put my hand on a tree to go up the slope and something moved. Cache in hand. Realised I left my trade item at home but master 5 desperately wanted the credz coin someone left. Will head back there later in the week to put in a few trade items for kids. All is good with the cache, TFTC
With promises of a maccas breakfast and a play in a park I managed to get GeoJr out of bed this morning. After finding the first cache for the day in a nearby park we headed to this one. Spotted a likely hiding place and soon had cache in hand. TNLNSL/TFTC

TFTC, found. Tin is getting pretty rusted and log book appears to be starting to grow mold. Nothing to take but did add a trash pack critter and signed log
concerned it might be missing again after that freak hail storm we got the other day. Been twice now and looked everywhere under the bridge and haven't come across it yet. Perhaps it is just my eyes though. [?]

Geo Jr and I found this one after work/school when we took the long way back from Samford. Forgot to take a pen to sign the log book. TFTC
Tassiegirl, are you able to go check and see if it is still there. went there this afternoon and no cache in sight and after the recent storm we had, not sure if it is still even there.
Thanks
