Not a plane in sight but we managed to find this one on the second visit for the day. The first time we showed up there was a guy sitting in his car right at GZ so we aborted and came back later. That gave us time to consider the cache location. RoadieM was pretty definite with her hunch, so we checked the location and bingo! found the cache. What another beauty in the whitewebbs arsenal! So sneaky. Of course it deserves a fav point. Thanks whitewebbs.

This one hasnt been found for nearly a year so while the CO and I were out and about today doing a few high caches at Penna we thought wed pop in and check this one seeing we had the pole in the car. While we are a gleeful duo, RoadieM created the very clever puzzle and positioned the cache. All good here and I cheekily claimed the find. Thanks The Roadies!

RoadieM and I were looking for a lunch spot after doing caches at Penna, so we headed here for a seat and a cache. I had tried to find this cache once before but was thwarted by workers having a car park meeting and friends picnicking on the seat. Today it was very quiet so we made a relatively quick find. Loving the creative cache containers in this series. Thanks 63ROOS.

Out and about with RoadieM today and we came prepared with the correct TOTT. It was a relatively easy find and retrieval with this cache not too high for us which was good as this is the first high cache we have found for a long time so we needed to practise our skills. I was very rusty so RoadieM took over and got the job done. We admired the creative container and pondered over how it was made. Great idea 63ROOS. Thanks for the cache.

RoadieM found the cache, retrieved the cache and replaced the cache. But I did carry the pole! My neck didnt appreciate the angle so I left it all up to her today. Lucky she was with me, thats all I can say. Very tricky retrieval and replacement here - the pole was at full extension- but she managed it with great perseverance. Thanks 63ROOS - another challenge and another great cache container.

A quick find here as we made our way across the causeway. This is our 3rd high cache find for the day and RoadieM was doing the honours as my neck wasnt appreciating the angle. We are loving the creative cache containers. Deserves a fav point. Thanks 63ROOS.

Im having a lovely day with RoadieM, caching around Penna and 7mile today. We wandered down the Tiagara Trail to find this cache. It was definitely RoadieMs day today as her geo eyes were spot on. We guessed it was a unique cache container, but not quite what we were expecting. Saw an interesting path and structure on the way back? Something to do we golf we suspected but bit of a mystery. Thanks Lil Rafa.

Coordinates changed from:S 42 50.736 E 147 53.036Coordinates changed to:S 42 50.733 E 147 53.033Distance from original: 22.6 feet or 6.9 meters.Cache has been moved about 6 metres - look for the pelican under the small coastal wattle.

14-Nov-24
Luckily I checked on this cache today as it was out in the open and the pelican was just about to get washed out to sea. I have had to relocate the cache slightly as the bank and coastal wattle that it was hiding under has been washed away.

Checked on this cache today and its still in place. Disturbed a blue tongue who was having a drink from the water seeping out of the cracks in the wall. Happy caching!

Checked on this cache today and it has gone missing. Will replace asap. Lovely morning walk at Eaglehawk.

In the area checking on a few caches so called by this one. The cache was missing but after a shot search on the high tide mark found it! Another lucky find. Its been replaced in its hiding spot. Happy caching!

Checked on this cache today while in the area. Replaced the log, as it was a bit smudged from getting damp. Happy caching.

Was in the area today so checked on this one for the CO. Its still in place so all ok to find. Happy caching!

Checked on this cache for the CO today after the 2 DNFs. Its still there, hiding safely away from the road traffic. The virtual fence must be working. All good to find. Happy caching!

Found it this time, so can turn a frown into a smile. Not quite what I was looking for but got it in the end. Thanks for another sneaky cache Duntulum.

Making our way west from Melbourne and stopped in here for lunch. There were quite a few fisherman around the lake, but they were too busy fishing to notice me. The coords are a bit out, so it took a bit of searching. Once I spotted it in its hiding hole had to enlist the assistance of the muggle partner (who is definitely not vertically challenged at 64). TFTC - always good to have something to do,while waiting for the kettle to boil.

We are making our way home from Melbourne the long way as is our usual mode! Thought wed mosey around the edge of this lake and of course then I always have to check if there is a cache along the way. A nice drive, but the lake is well and truly dry. Looks like its been quite a while since it saw or held any water. Tracks around the edge was in good condition. A quick find was made here and we were on our way. TFTC.

When I did the other half of the walk yesterday I didnt see a soul but have already come across lots of muggle walkers, and this is on,y my second find on the track. First walker spotted. Unfortunately there was no room in the log to sign, so will send photo evidence to CO. Unfortunately I forgot to bring me spare log sheets today - sorry! I looked for evidence of powerful owls and koala but no luck. Thanks BorisB&Natasha

Tackling the second half of this track this morning. Last cache for me for the series as Im getting off at this branch line. Spent far too long looking for this one with gps jumping all over the place. Once my gaze was averted from the branch line I found the cache housing, but no cache or log as other cachers had revealed. Will send photo to COs as proof of find. Thank you very much BorisB&Natasha. This has been an excellent series which I have enjoyed enormously. Its combined all the best things I like about caching - a lovely walk and really interesting caches. Just great!

Had a couple of hours to spare this morning so am able to explore the second half of this trail that I started yesterday. Muggle partner dropped me off and will pick me up at the other end. After a bit of a search managed to find this one. Unfortunately it has broken off its housing and as other cachers have reported, it is very wet. Luckily I could still sign the rite in the rain paper. Loved seeing the evidence of the railway. Thanks BorisB&Natasha.

There is very different vegetation on this section of the track. Made a quick find without any muggles about. Thanks again BorisB&Natasha.

There are lots of grapes and blackberries in this section. Got a few scratches as I made my way to GZ. Another clever cache. Just love the diversity of all the cache housings and the effort the COs have put into this trail. Thanks BorisB&Natasha.

It was full steam ahead down the track and through the tunnel of vegetation to the next cache. Muggles have thinned out a bit but still need to keep a lookout when departing the track and re-emerging from the bushes. It was a quick find of a nice dry cache. All good!

Now the muggles are diversifying a bit - just passed the first lot of cyclists using the track in this section. This cache container had a very interesting lid. Loving the diversity of all the cache on this trail. So clever. Thanks BorisB&Natasha

I found this cache quickly but couldnt access the log. A wire was broken so presume that was part of the opening mechanism. There are so many muggles on this part of the track that I felt a bit conspicuous and didnt feel comfortable staying too long. Will send a photo as evidence of my find to COs.

Starting to see a few horses grazing in their paddocks in this section. There was a particularly chubby horse resting under a pine tree here. More Muggle dog walkers so had to be very stealthy. There was also a man working in his shed right near cache so there was lots of creeping happening. Found the cache and I was on my way.

Another quick find with the signals helping out. Im thoroughly enjoying this series and this walk. Just fabulous.

Im loving this walk with interesting variation in the vegetation. Its back to pine trees again now and they have a strong smell here. Maybe its the early morning air. The signalman was giving me red light initially, but eventually got the green light with log signed. Another clever cache. Thanks.

There are some very old pine trees in this section and lots of birds singing. What a clever cache. Definitely deserves all the fav points it has received and Ill add to the count. I was very badly sprung by a dog walker oops! Her dog came right up to me and heaven knows what she thought I was doing!

Had to wait for 2 muggle hikers here before I could duck into the undergrowth. Thats the great thing about using phones - you can pretend you are texting. Interestingly enough one had pack on and we got chatting when I asked her if she was in training for something. She said she was going to walk the 3 Capes Walk in Tasmania, which is in my backyard back home. Its a small world! This was another clever and nicely themed cache and deserves a fav point. Thanks once again BorisB&Natasha.

Made a quick find here and luckily there was a break in muggle presence. Its been very busy on the track today compared to yesterday. Another clever well themed cache. Thanks BorisB&Natasha for your efforts putting this series together.

Needed a whistle at this whistle stop to alert the train driver that log is completely full. The log is completely full but just managed to squeeze my name in. Thanks for the clever cache.

Dog across the road was wondering what I was doing lurking in the bushes. Fortunately made the find quickly before he got too interested. Is he the keeper of this cache, as it seems to be named after a dogs body? TFTC.

Just finished half the Red Hill Express series so thought Id find this one while I was in the area. Luckily I had solved the series earlier in the year when down this way visiting a sick relative. Found the cache and the little path beside road. TFTC.

Have found myself back on the Mornington Peninsula visiting an elderly relative, so thought Id do the Red Express series so can add this cache in the the piglet series too. Looks like a lovely pathway. A quick find was made. Dont think Ill ever get to do all the caches I. This series and therefore get the bonus, but who knows. Thanks for the cache.

All aboard! Well actually Im disembarking at this point as Ive only done half this series today and in my usual style, Ive done it backwards. As I was meandering downhill most of the way I was pleased I was going backwards. Its been a fabulous walk and caching trail my favourite way to cache. Thanks so much BorisB&Natasha- would have loved to have given every cache a fav point but only have a couple left now. Now to ring the muggle partner to come and pick me up and hopefully Ill get the finish the series in the next couple of days.

Lovely valley view as I meander down the track to this cache. The black cockatoos are enjoying the pine cones. Looked at the other obvious spot first then saw my error. Had a good idea what I would be looking for so made quick find of clever cache. The log was full so added new paper. While I was fiddling with getting the log back into the housing I was sprung by muggle horse rider going through the nearby gate, with the horse being particularly unnerved by my presence. Thanks for another great cache.

Have found myself back on the Mornington Peninsula visiting a sick relative, and noticed this series nearby. Only have the afternoons free so decided to do it in 2 sessions, today being the first run. Muggle partner dropped me off here so this cache was the first find for the day. A nice start with a quick find. Looks like a nice path. TFTC.

The track has changed from pine trees to more native flora here. This was another interesting cache following the theme of the series. Managed to sign the letter and send off to BorisB&Natasha via the Rex Express. Thanks again. I am thoroughly enjoying the series - such fun and so clever.

Getting to the end of the first half of this track and series. Its been fantastic! There is an amazing horse park here with years, arenas and jumps, but no horses and riders using it today. Saw something a little out of place and my instincts were correct. Thanks once again BorisB&Natasha - what an amazing effort you have put into this series.

The track has changed back to pine tree vegetation and my GPS was a bit all over the place here. Got distracted by a pile of pine debris but when I checked the clue and broadened my search I made the find. Was determined not to have my first DNF as I doubt Ill ever get back here. A tricky cache, but conquered in the end. Thanks again BorisB&Natasha.

Im loving this walk with the occassional glimpse of horses in their paddocks as I wend my way to this cache. Not a soul on the track. Found the cache quickly but the train wouldnt leave the depot here ie couldnt get log out of the housing but luckily lots of sticks about to help with the task (couldnt find my tweezers!). Thanks for the cache BorisB&Natasha.

Im thoroughly enjoying this walk as I meander down the path in an endeavour to get half this series found today. With accurate coordinates ages and nicely themed caches a quick found was made. I signed the last spot on the log so added another Right in the rain log sheet. Thanks for the wonderful series BorisB&Natasha. .

What a clever cache! Made a quick find but it took me a while to work out how to retrieve the log. Got the ticket in the end. There was a man mowing the paddock nearby but I was nicely hidden from view, so he didnt notice me. Definitely deserves a fav point. Thanks BorisB&Natasha.

This is the second find in the series on my walk today. What a clever multi - managed to find the right token to open the box and sign the log. Getting it all back together was a bit of a juggle . Always like to leave caches as I find them so was a bit worried but got there in the end. Loved how there was a marker for replacing the token saves it ending up where it shouldnt be. This one deserves a fav point. Thanks BorisB&Natasha. Loving this series and the walk already.

The track may have been closed (name of cache) but the nearby vineyard was open and humming. Lots of workers with voices nearby but none of them noticed me as once again the cache was nicely hidden from view so they had no idea I was there. A quick find was made but the log was full. Replaced log and replaced cache. Thanks BorisB&Natasha.

Camping nearby and had a very good search forThis one as no muggles about. Fortunately no snakes either as I was tromping about, going from stump to stump, in sandals. No luck so, as with other cachers, suggest a maintenance check. The tree is truly amazing though and a gorgeous camp spot.

Heading towards the Murray to camp for a couple of nights we called in here for a break. It was a lovely walk along the lake to find the cache. Went on a bit further after finding the cache and found the old boat ramp. Thanks Jamie Appleford.

Nice quick find as we made our way from the east coast. Lid has a hole in it, but surprisingly the log was nice and dry. TFTC.
