Just before my hasty flight back home before all the airports close down, I visited Fremantle. This cache led me through town and now that I had some experience it was an easy find.

The trek to the top was definitely one of the nicest hikes along the tour. It could have been longer to my taste, but it gave us a reason to leave the tour bus. I liked the changes of vegetation along the way, from lush green to the rocky bits at the end.

We stopped here on our tour of the Southwest and our tour guide suggested a quick swim. Once I was in the water and had my short swim he called me back and explained I should not swim to far out, because of possible shark attacks. That was an information I would have wanted in advance!

This was the first amazing stop on my second tour through Western Australia. What a fantastic sight! It took me a bit to get a photo without anyone in it. We had a little walk to the top to enjoy the view and then back down again.

It took me quite a while to find this one. Some of the statues are missing and thie information about that is unfortunately hidden in the hint. With omission and deduction and later the helpful information I managed to find this cache. A good final spot.

This was one of our stops along the long way up to Broome. I remember that I was really happy everytime I had a chance to get out of the bus, although it was extremely hot that day. We had a nice walk along the boardwalk and were afterwards looking forward to the aircon in the bus.

The 2000th cache in the city that hosted the Summer Olympics 2000. So I put on my rain jacket and started a geocaching hop on hop off tour around the city. I got wet and dry repeatedly. Wet when I searched for a cache, dry when I hopped back on public transport. In the end I found my number 2000 and guess what... THIS IS IT!!!!
Along the way I also met an Aussie geocacher, the first one on my tour. And I didn't meet him geocaching, no, he was one of the bus drivers noticing my GPSr. How cool is that!!!
So this cache is AMAZING because a) it is #2000 [:D} b) I'm helping a fellow Aussie geocacher and take his TB around the world

Finally my tour ends where it began, in Sydney. Today I walked along the cliffs and tried to find various caches, but somehow I wasn't lucky. This one was the only one I could find.

The only reason for visiting Byron Bay was diving at Julians Rock, but guess what, it didn't happen.
