I am traveling with VikingNav from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. We arrived today and took a walking tour. We are enjoying our visit here.

VikingNav and I moved to Utah from Minnesota in May. We have been having fun exploring Utah a little at a time since then. Today was the day to come and enjoy Potters Pond and surrounding areas. We ran into a very nice caching couple from Germany in the parking area near the trail here. We ended up at the cache together. It is always fun to meet other geocachers on the trail. We all had fun reading the original cache logbook for this great oldie. Thank you for keeping it going all these years! I dropped off a TB that wants to go to Plain City, Utah. ????

VikingNav and I got up early this morning to do this cool virtual. We wanted to get out before it started to warm up. It made for a nice comfortable walk on the bridge. There were several school groups of younger kids walking the bridge this morning also. It was a sight to see.
My favorite writer/poet is Patrick White. I just love the quote used on his marker on the walk. Thanks for bringing us to this spot! I nominate Patrick White's novel, Riders in the Chariot.

Came out here with VikingNav to get this virtual today. It was fun exploring the area. We checked out the tunnel, but not deeply since we just had my cellphone flashlight to see with. We did see the moths and a couple of bats sleeping the day away just inside the darker entrance. Thanks for bringing us here. We continued down to the lookout and enjoyed the views of Sydney Harbour.

VikingNav and I found the lid attached to hide, but the body of the bison and the log was nowhere to be seen. It looks like it may be down and unreachable. Sorry we couldn't send the CO an email with the picture I took, but we were without WiFi for several days after finding it (I am logging this find on April 10th). I am glad to see the next finder had a replacement.
This is the first time I have seen a hide like this one. I figured out quickly where I needed to look and had the cache in hand right away. This container is very well done. Thanks for the extra effort in hiding this cool cache. I appreciate it very much.

I LOVED this virtual!!! What fun it was to send a note card to the CO from this location. VikingNav and I got word that our letter arrived and we got the green light to log our find. We were on a cruise ship heading from Sydney to Vancouver B.C when the email arrived. We were without mobile service until we reached Hawaii and were able to check our inbox. I am logging this one finally as a find from Vancouver B.C. on May 6th, one month after physically visiting the location. Sorry for the delay. Thanks for such a fun virtual! It gets a favorite point from me.

Nicely hidden cache. Found it with VikingNav while exploring the area today. I dropped a TB. Thanks for the fun cache!
VikingNav and I enjoyed our wander around Peak Hill today finding the answers to the questions for this great earthcache. We crossed paths with two police officers on the trail. They asked us if we had seen a kangaroo during our walk. We had not. They didn't find it because they were leaving empty handed when we finished the trail. They got in their patrol truck and left. Thanks for this interesting earthcache. VikingNav has sent our answers for both of us.
VikingNav and I came here and enjoyed our visit here very much. Just as we opened our car doors, the siren went off informing everyone the dish was about to rotate. It was cool watching it move into a new position. We found the needed information at GZ easily. VikingNav has sent our answer for both of us. Thanks for bringing us to this spot with your virtual. We wouldn't have known about it without you.
