Logs for GadgetJack
14-Jun-21
After a seeming resurgence of finds after having forgotten I hadn’t disposed of the cache (and that I was still a cache owner in general) I find myself needing to ask that you do not log a find on this cache as the DT rating is no longer valid. I will be making an effort to recycle the cache in the near future so please do not continue claiming you have found this cache as the puzzle aspect is not functioning and you are not experiencing the thrill which I intended you have when the lock finally clicks open.
Thanks to all who found the cache during its service - building these things gave me great joy.

Cache is damaged and I’m unable to provide replacement. Thanks all for finding it while it lasted.
11-Apr-20
With regret this one has been destroyed by the muggles. Thanks too all who have visited and enjoyed the somewhat precarious tree climb; reading your logs always brings a smile. Thanks again, gadgetjack
15-Nov-19
It saddens me to have to do this but as per the last log this one was found for the last time and not by someone with good intentions, unfortunately. Thanks to all who have found this one. I really enjoyed reading the logs and hearing about the adventures I brought on.
This cache - unlike the first one I came to check on - was still intact with exception to the lock. I have replaced the lock with one of the same difficulty - or lack thereof. Good luck everyone!
04-Nov-19
As per the recent logs on this one, it appears that an unbranded lock is truly not the way to go when securing belongings and evidently geocache logbooks. I will be disabling this cache until I have the opportunity to replace the lock and restore the D/T rating. Thanks to all who have enjoyed picking the old lock, a new one will be back soon.
01-Dec-18
This cache will be disabled until I can make a replacement. Sorry for the inconvenience and the late notice, this one slipped under my radar.
26-Mar-18
The cache appears to have been removed by the council pending some construction taking place at ground zero. A replacement will be issued upon the reconstruction of the bus shelter.

I was in the area and did maintenance nearby. Came for a look at this one and it is still in place, watch out for spiders as seen in previous log .
08-Jul-17
Was in the area for another cache until I saw the dnf Logs on it. Decided I would try this one instead. I think your neighbour was interested in my activities but a smile was met with a smile and she proceeded to collect washing as I signed the log. Tftc
"Sigh". After being prompted by a cacher to check the status of this one, I was surprised to hear about the potential disappearance of the cache. Much to my sadness, the original cache had been muggled and I suspect by some meddling kids or a fellow cacher, as the original cache was chained to the bridge and would not wash away. Oh well. I have replaced the cache with a new container in a better spot - given my grown loathing for under bridge caches - and as such this cache is now wheelchair friendly, it is also slightly more difficult but should not prove too hard to spot. Good luck everyone and please do not allow the cache to creep or be stolen.
Came down and was approached by a ranger warning me of the activities that go on in this area. Had a quick look but left. I can safely say that I probably wont be coming back but thanks for taking me to a new area.
What an awesome find. I have seen photos of caches like this but have never had the pleasure of doing one. How satisfying . A fav point from me.
While the cache was easy to locate, the company I had to locate it in was making things difficult. Eventually the recreational grass lover left . Tftc.

Well I was eventually a little late due to lunch at a separate venue but I made it with time enough to meet all that battled the boxing loving crowd. Nice to meet some new faces, some old ones, and some I hadn't seen for some time. Thanks BrotherColin for a well planned event .
30-Jun-17
Looks like I'll be up in Toowoomba for the weekend. Cant miss an opportunity to gain a souvenir and meet up with some cachers.
26-Jun-17
Quick find whilst out and about on the way to the city. Tftc.
17-Jun-17
Up in the Sunny Coast for the day and had to do this one as we were 150m from it. Thanks for the creative cache and for a lesson on reference numbers.
15-Apr-17
Found this one a couple of days ago after the donerstag event nearby. This one was an interesting cache to grab at night as the leaves made is difficult to point the torch. After a quick rummage through the area the cache was soon in hand. Tftc.
13-Apr-17
Nice to meet everyone tonight. Some old faces, some new faces, and great food. Nice to have a kebab on donerstag day too, as well as catch up with everyone on their latest caching experiences and other hobbies.
Thanks for the event and for breaking my streak of geocaching inactivity. See you at the next event.

This was a late night grab with Ms Maddy. I have been told this one was infamous in Brisbane. Thanks for the clever hide and the nice spot.
At the event across the road and this one was on the radar. Thanks for the quick find.
11-Apr-17
Sounds like a fun event with some interesting food . Can't wait for a kebab!
08-Apr-17
Log is completely soaked and I could not sign. Emptied most of the water but a replacement log sheet is required. Travel bug left.
12-Feb-17
Sigh. As much as it pains me to do it, this one just doesn't have a very good design. Thanks to all who found it, I hope it was a fun cache.
06-Jan-17
Out caching with the Stucks and this one was needed to redeem the last dnf. Thanks for the cache.
Well after completing the excellent Whereigo and walking to the cache location we have to log a dnf. Thanks for the well crafted Whereigo. A fav point when I find the container.
04-Jan-17
Well the chance to get a cache so close to my holiday home was an option I couldn't forgo. After moving through the horrible cobblers pegs and eventually needing a PAF's, we found it. Time to go home and take out all the plant matter off my clothes.
After about and hour and a bit of searching, we found nothing. I gave the CO a buzz, but none of the hints landed us on the cache. Oh well, I'll forgo the hospital trip and perhaps collect a smilie next time I'm in Sydney. Thanks anyway.
Out to dinner and this was on the radar. Found both containers and signed both. No trackables here. Thanks for the cache and the interesting history lesson.

Wow. That is amazing camo. Only realised the cache was in there because of the surrounding features. Tftc.
Out caching with the Stucks and this was one which they recommended. Thanks for the amazing view and the cleaver hide. Love the log book. Tftc.
Out caching with the Stucks and i was taken to some good caches around Sydney. This one was 25 meters away from GZ but was eventually found. I decided not to move it, but perhaps the owner should if the spot I was at is not the right place. Otherwise this was an amazing cache, well deserving a fav point. Tftc.
I really hate spiders and this one was quite the fright. Thanks for the cache not the experience.
I do love these caches. I have one of my own and your floatations device is just fantastic. A big of a soggy loggy and a new o ring may be needed. Tftc.
Found in the company of the Stucks. One magnet is missing and is possibly ruining the HIPS camouflage.
Well I found it in the company of the Stucks, however, the cache was not as they anticipated and so I found it but will likely be back to find the camoed one.
Out with the Stucks and this one was in the agenda. Thanks for the really creative hide.
Well this one is very well crafted. Thanks for the awesome hide. This truely is a good walk with great caches.
01-Jan-17
Well after quite a long search and constant re-orienting, we found it. It wasn't until we were ready to give up that some weeding did us good. Thanks for the creative and brilliant geocache. We can now drive home with smilies on the map and our faces. A fav point from me .
31-Dec-16
Out and about today collecting some caches on the way home from boundary falls. This is my third earthcache and an interesting one at that. Tftc.
I rather enjoyed doing this cache because I got to see a spot I wouldn't normally have gone to as we passed through. Tftc.
On the way to Sydney we stopped for a coffee. This one was close so we went after it. After searching in the car park at the coords we realised we needed to search elsewhere. Thanks for the cache.
