Windy day. Great walk along the foreshore 

It was a nice day for a walk through the campus. After a false start walking up and down the wrong piece of wall, we finally found the webcam. That is one of the pitfalls of using a smartphone rather than a dedicated GPS device I guess. My trusty S3 smartphone can be seen in my hand. Chances are I was checking if a photo had been taken.
Some of our younger team members got a little restless waiting for the camera as is evident by the photo taken.

Muggles everywhere. We happened to choose a day when a cruise ship was visiting.We found the cache quickly but had to carefully pick our time to remove it. TFTC

up until june 13 we were only living 100metres away from this cache, so knew the area really well as we used to feed the ducks there regularly. the quakes have forced us to move to the other side of town so was nice to go back to our old stomping ground. TFTC 

Thankyou for bringing us to this site, the senior members weren't even born when it happened but we always knew of it, so it was good to get the 3 junior members interested in a bit of ChCh history. TFTC

We are planning to attend. Much like others posting here, Geocaching has been popular for us these school holidays too. We are keen to meet you all, and hear any tips or tricks you have to offer.  

Nice quick easy find TFTC 

Had a short wait while 12 muggles on horses wandered past. Felt "dodgy" looking through the bush so quickly used the clue and it was found. TFTF

Almost gave up, still no luck even after using the clue. But eventually one of the senior members discovered its hiding place 

Stopped for lunch while we waited for a few muggles and their dogs go past. We were moments away from GZ, when we bumped into Grandalf again!! TFTC dropped off Caching Hazards GC

Logged with permission. The day that 9/11 happened and the days after were very surreal for me. Apart from the blanket coverage from the media, I had just started a new job. Suddenly all these 'strangers' and I had something to talk about as we watched the horrific scenes unfold on the staffroom TV.
While visiting this memorial with my partner and my kids it was quite hard to explain to my son (born post 9/11) just how important that we never forget what happened that day.
Thank you for bringing us to this place.

This was our first ever find. It took two visits since dusk wasn't the best time to begin our search. Lovely area.  

We met some other Geocachers at a nearby cache who reminded us of this one.This one took a bit of finding for team Kmannzl. Once we weakened and used the clue, we couldn't believe we'd missed it during our earlier search. TNLS TFTF 

Very clever hide. The ducks helped us. Wished we'd brought some bread like it said in the instructions. TFTH
