The Longbottom family owned and operated the farm opposite this beach for around 100 years. The Longbottom farm was sold about 15 years ago. It's nice to see their name will be remembered for many more years to come. TFTC

Day of rest in Cootamundra. Took a walk to the birthplace of Don Bradman, then continued our walk to collect a couple of caches. TFTC

The Sisters of St Jos opened a school in our little town too, but it only operated for 2 years or so in the 1880's. TFTC
