Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we had decided to stay in St Bathans & do some of the caches around the district so this morning, we decided to pack a lunch & go on a road trip the last area we visited was The Falls Dam we werent sure of what the road conditions would be like heading out here but they turned out to be ok a bit narrow in places but drivable parked up by GZ & after a Quick Look around, soon had the cache in hand, logbook completed & safely returned to its position note that the cache container lid is cracked & moisture is getting in to one side of the cache container we liked the cache name & thought it was approximate that we sit & have our packed lunch here were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,630 for us!

TN:LN:LS this was #6,624 for us!

Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we had decided to stay in St Bathans & do some of the caches around the district so this morning, we decided to pack a lunch & go on a road trip the second area we visited was Lauder we have previously been through here when biking the Rail Trail nobody around today so the cache was easily found interesting, we wondered what all the straw, grass & associated stuff was hanging out between the two signboard panels, and then we noticed the birds nest, complete with eggs, hope we havent disturbed them at all we soon had the cache in hand, logbook completed & safely returned to its position were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,626 for us!

Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we had decided to stay in St Bathans & do some of the caches around the district so this morning, we decided to pack a lunch & go on a road trip the last area we wanted to visit was the Falls Dam area we were sure what the road conditions would be like bit narrow in places & steep in others, glad we werent doing this in wet conditions but parked up right on the edge of the dam & after a bit of a search, soon had the cache in hand, it wasnt covered at all & was out in the open, cache container is damaged logbook completed & returned to what we think is the correct position, made a bit of a hollow, with rocks around the perimeter, cache safely in the middle & a flatish rock on top, should be good in this position were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,631 for us!

Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we had been staying in Cromwell but were moving on were heading through Alexandra but needed to stop here & snag this cache to get the code parked up nearby, a bit of a hassle trying to find somewhere to park the Ute & caravan safely, but managed it a further down the road from where the Cycle Trail crosses the main road meant we had a bit of a walk but the weather was fine & clear, with a light breeze after a short walk & a quick search, we soon had the cache in hand, logbook completed & safely returned to its position pleased to get another code certainly makes life easy when theres nobody around were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,618 for us!

Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we had decided that wed move on to Central Otago today, staying in Cromwell we needed to get a couple of caches for today, so we thought wed go for a bit of a drive & grab a couple of easy roadside caches this was the second of them after a quick search we soon had the cache in hand, logbook completed & safely returned to its position it was quite a nice find given that the co-ordinates are as they are S45 00.000 certainly makes life easy when theres nobody around were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,610 for us!

Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we had decided that wed move on to Central Otago today, staying in Cromwell we went for a bit of a drive this morning to get a couple of caches that we had investigated last evening after a slow drive up the cul-de-sac & back out again, I had the required numbers parked beside, where I thought the cache was & after entering the numbers soon had it in hand certainly made life reasonably easy when theres not too many people many around I, like many others before me, think that this deserves a Favourite Point, so here it is were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN, except photos:LN:no L to S this was #6,597 for us!

Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we decided wed move on to the Omarama area & stay somewhere local this afternoon, we needed to head into Omarama to do a few wee jobs & complete the Ad Lab & then find the Bonus Ad Lab completed, co-ordinates reconfigured & off we went, a short walk to GZ, quick fossick around & we soon had the caches in hand ended up being quick and easy find, logbook signed & cache returned as found were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN except photos:LN:LS this was #6,594 for us! 
 
Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we decided wed move on to the Omarama area & stay somewhere local this morning, we thought wed go for a drive up the Ahuriri Valley, as wed been told that they was some quite spectacular scenery out this way, & there were caches! very dusty road conditions but we spotted the waterfall well before we got to where you could access, no real parking spot, just a case of getting off the roadway as best you can crossed a sty, followed the orange markers, crossed another sty & wandered up-hill as best we could, as there are no tracks short fossick around & had the caches in hand ended up being quick and easy find, logbook signed & cache returned as found small hint here guys: there is no need to cross the creek were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN except photos:LN:LS this was #6,587 for us! 
 
Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we decided wed move on to the Omarama area & stay somewhere local this morning, we thought wed go for a drive up the Ahuriri Valley, as wed been told that they was some quite spectacular scenery out this way, & there were caches! very dusty road conditions and it got even worse for the last few kilometres as the local council doesnt maintain the road for this section, plot-holes, fords & washed out sections but all navigable in our 4x2 vehicle (today at least) the wetlands have an easily defined parking area short fossick around & we soon had the caches in hand ended up being quick and easy find, logbook signed & cache returned as found were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ...
