This cache will be back up and running by the end of the day today sorry for the long delay I have been in and out of the country a little too much latley.
 

What a walk but what a view.... we could almost see my sisters research site from the summit cheers.... the log book was a little damp but still useable should be fine once the weather warms up.

Decided to do this cache as my sister ahs a research site nearby and wanted to see this side of the area.... gotta admit if it wasn't for previous logs would have been stumped as to where to start from even the sign stating it was private property was a bit off putting but all in all was a great cache thanks you very much.

3rd find of the day this one amazes me that it hasn't been muggled... a cache as exposed as this one in NZ would stand no chance at all.

2nd find for the afternoon... was partally exposed so tryed to cover it as best as I could.

First find outside of New Zealand... found with fair ease... it's nice to have some distance between caches.

My first cache back in NZ a easy find as I know the area a bit too well.... didn't even crack out the gps.

Well.... gutted is all I can say..... after flagging going to beachlands to knock off the caches out that way I thought that getting a FTF on this one was gonnar be easy.... well after a hour of trecking and finding one of the biggest caches I have ever come across I also found I had been beaten to it!!! darn I knew I should have been up early.

Anyway thanks for the great cache.... how long did it take you to get that container in?????

Bugger Bugger..... yes one point has been pilfered!!! so I will have to replace but I have to wait and get info from Runzz as the cache has changed some what from when I did it.

Found at 12:30 just after I left a muggle came along and placed herself down on gz and had lunch. 

Searchd for this one but just couldn't find it.... gps kept me heading to the rh side of the track but just couldn't find nething iether side of the track.
oh well another day. 

Found with relative ease.... no clue so shot down to the beach first!!!

Found it after walking the whole track.... I've driven past this bit of bush almost every day for the last 3 years and never stopped to look.... man I've missed out. 

Searched.... got wet and cold.... left.... came back.... searched some more but still no find damn it. 

A fairly easy find and last for the evening.... found with a work mate.

Found after work with one of my work mates.... pretty easy find.
Who remembers the gnome that sat at the top of the chimney for many years???
 

Lovely area although I managed to park about 3 streets away at least it allowed me to take the entire board walk which was a plesant wonder.
Cache was a fairly easy find.... I do recomend a new container is found at some point in time as the weather has taken it's tole on the mdf.

Found although it was quite a stretch to reach.... just wish the tide had been in as it's a wonderfull walkway.

I know I did this cache some time ago but can't remember the exact date with out going back to the cache.

yes this cache needs to archived I no longer live near by and I think it's time for it to be archived. 

I don't know why I havn't logged this find... I remeber finding it the same day as the lone scotsman as I saw him leaving the park.... it took me 2 trys to find the cache for some reason I must have passed it on the first try.
I love this area and regulary ride through this park.

Visited with Runzz... I have sailed/motored past this point mny a time but never been down to the cache site... thanks for taking us out there. 

pretty sure one of us steped in dog much at the gz.... also that pole with the bare wires in it.... it it live???
