23-Oct-10
This was the first of 11 finds for the day with Team BAPHA on a wet and rainy bike ride along the maribyrnong river and on to williamstown. An easy find near a new temple on the river with an impressive stature looking out towards the bay. Cute coathanger bridge, too. TFTC!

16-Oct-10
Found this with team BAPHA and new team addition geo-dog Sophie. Was a fun find during a fairly quiet time on a Saturday outside the Alfred Hospital. We liked the way the cache was secured, TNLN TFTC!

03-Oct-10
Have been meaning to visit this one for a while. Second cache found today on a lovely walk through the park with Team BAPHA and the geo-dogs. TFTC!

A beautiful day for geocaching with Team BAPHA and new geo-dog Sophie. This was an easy find after a nice walk through the park. Dropped off Australia GeoGuitar Geocoin - it has now made it to Australia and begins its Aussie cache adventure!

20-Sep-10
Found this one on the way back to Melbourne with Team BAPHA. Took a few minutes searching but once we were brave enough to get past the great piles of caterpillars, it was a easy find in the end. TFTC!

19-Sep-10
Great to see a cache in Wunghnu! Found this one with Team BAPHA after a long break from geocaching - nice to get into it again. An easy cache in a pretty spot, TFTC Smile

23-Jan-10
Exciting to find such a new cache! Found this with Team BAPHA on a caching bike ride. Had fun locating all the clues and the final waypoint, and was impressed with the swaps in the cache but didn't have anything worthy to add. SL, TFTC!

Found this with Team BAPHA on our morning of geocaching. A chance to practice some stealth during the middle of the day in a popular spot, not traditionally a strong point for our Team! Was able to locate the cache, take away and sign the log, and return to it's place without attracting too much attention. A cheeky hide, TFTC!

Finally found this one with Team BAPHA after lots of searching and thinking about the clues. A very cool hide and a very satisfying find, TFTC!

Final cache that Team BAPHA managed to find today on a bike ride through the city. Was a lovely spot and a nicely camouflaged cache.

Found this on a morning of geocaching with Team BAPHA today. Very quite when we arrived at this spot and an easy find in the end. TFTC!

16-Jan-10
Found this one with Team BAPHA on second attempt. We were in Perth the previous weekend and had a quick look for this one on the way to the Perth Mint but couldn't get a stable reading on GZ. A rethink on our return today meant a relatively quick find in the end, TFTC!

Found this one with Team BAPHA after a picnic in a nearby park on our final day in Western Australia. Was a lovely area to wander through, although am wondering if the cache needs a little maintenance to ensure it doesn't get muggled. TFTH!

Found this with Team BAPHA after a picnic in a nearby park on our last day in Perth. Was stinking hot and took a little while to locate but was a fun find in the end. TFTC!

14-Jan-10
Found this with Team BAPHA on final day of our amazing 4-day hike along a section of the Bibbulmun track. We walked through some beautiful countryside and coastal areas to reach this cache. GZ made a lovely spot to rest and have lunch before the final walk into Peaceful Bay. TFTC!

12-Jan-10
Found with Team BAPHA on Day 2 of our 4-day hike along a section of the Bibbulmun track. A lovely walk - would recommend it to anyone wishing to spend a few days trekking through ever-changing and beautiful bush and coastal areas. We actually walked straight past this one and went into the very impressive Tree-Top Walk before checking the location of the cache. A quick back-track and an easy find in the end. TFTC!

06-Jan-10
Found this one during a lunch break with a friend, on the way to the Royal Botanical Gardens for a picnic. No one was around so we were able to make an easy grab for the cache. TNLNSL, TFTC!

Found this with team BAPHA on a late night hunt - our first night time find. Made an unnecessary creek crossing, which geodog enjoyed, but added to the adventure. Love the way the cache was camouflaged! Credit to my sister for spotting this one. SL - TFTC!

My first solo find. I often ride to North Melbourne to catch the train to work on other side of the city so it was good to finally find this one. A nice little spot that I didn't know was there. No one around when I located the cache (thanks to the hint!) but had to wait quite a while for a family of muggles to leave before replacing. As other logs have already stated - logbook is soaked. I signed temporary log but it will also need replacing soon. TFTC!

02-Jan-10
Met up with Team BAPHA for a morning walk and found this one on the way. A neat little hiding spot. We were lucky with not much muggle activity, which made searching easy. TFTC!

An interesting cache, found this morning by Team BAPHA. A nice quiet spot and an easy find - TFTC!

28-Dec-09
Found this with Team BAPHA while on an overnight hike through Lerderderg State Park. Lots of fun finding a cache while hiking through lovely and largely unspoiled countryside. Track was well maintained from our campsite 5.5km downstream all the way back along the river to O'Brien's Crossing. Took nothing but left Speedy TB. TFTC!

Found this with Team BAPHA on way back from Lerderderg State Park. We had some time to kill while waiting for the kitchen to open for dinner at a pub in town. A nice drive and a neat hiding spot. Lovely views, too.

Found this with Team BAPHA on our return from Lerderderg State Park. Disturbed a long brown reptile resident in the bushes when we were walking back to the car so had to make a hasty exit!

Team BAPHA were tired and sore after an overnight hike in Lerderderg but managed to squeeze this one in before heading back to Melbourne via Baccus Marsh. Was a fun walk down the hill off the beaten track! TFTC

27-Dec-09
Had a quick look for this one on Team BAPHA's expedition out to Lerderderg State Park but didn't manage to locate it. Maybe next time...

26-Dec-09
Another find by team BAPHA, minus 2. Had to think about this one over a coffee in Hardware Lane and then made the find with some combined brain-power! Great hide, TFTC.

Have finally gotten around to logging this one. Late afternoon on Christmas Day Team BAPHA decided to have a look for this one, being our first multicache, and introduce the parents to geocaching. We found the required information at the 1st location and moved on to the 2nd, only to return home unsuccessful much later on. It felt a bit needle-in-a-haystack for our inexperienced team, so we took the hint and sought further help (much appreciated!). We returned the next morning and after quite a bit more searching managed to find the micro - what a moment that was! We followed the instructions, drove out to the final destination and found the cache. Quite an adventure, TFTC!

25-Dec-09
Found this one with Team BAPHA on a spot of Christmas morning geocaching. A lovely spot and a relatively easy find. TNLN, TFTC.

Search high and low with Team BAPHA Christmas morning but couldn't locate this one.

Found this with Team BAPHA on Christmas morning geocaching in the area. TFTC!

Team BAPHA were very excited to find this one as it was our first micro! This was the first of a productive Christmas morning finding a few caches near Numurkah. A good hide, we signed the log and headed off excitedly to our next cache.

21-Dec-09
Didn't manage to locate this one. Not the best idea to search at midnight with my friend on an interstate trip. Dodging various human and animal residents in the park proved too much of a problem. Perhaps on my next trip with some better planning...

Found this with my friend on a 3-day trip to Sydney. My first interstate cache! Luckily no one was around so was an easy grab. Nice disguise - TFTC!

06-Dec-09
[It's taken a little while to log this find but went out Geocaching with team BAPHA last weekend and found Danny Boy. It was the first cache we found for the day and was very exciting!! It was in a lovely spot and we enjoyed the challenge of locating it whilst on our afternoon Geochaching bike ride/picnic Smile

[Find #2 on Team BAPHA's geocache bike-ride outing. This cache was disguised in a very cool way!]

[This cache was find #3 and final for Team BAPHA today. It was located in a beautiful spot and I enjoyed reading the historical significance of the ford. (Thanks to the tool on the other side of the river for ruining the serenity with his motorbike.) The cache itself had lots of interesting things inside and it gave me lots of ideas for what to take with me next time on geocache outings.]

22-Nov-09
[My very first cache and what an exciting one! Great way of hiding a cache and provided much enjoyment, thankyou Smile This was also the forming of team BAPHA - 4 adults, one happy cocker spaniel, many plans for future geocache hunting!]
