The cache is currently out of reach due to the light rail works. Hopefully it will still be available when the work is done.

Had a peek today, looks like its still in place. Try using the torch on you phone to look in the hide

"Hmmm. Won't be back without another find or CO action"
I'm not sure what action you would like me to take???
I have been extremely diligent with any maintenance to the cache, and the cache is still play.

The cache was there last Friday when I checked, and still there when I checked again today.

Checked cache today... The cache has not been muggled and is still in place. It was a little jammed, so I freed it and adjusted the suspension. A tool will definitely help with retrieval. Don't fear the muggle!

Some cachers have suggested the clue may be old or not relevant to the updated hidey hole. The old position had no clue due to the name of the cache, the current clue is 100% relevant to it's new position!

Looked for this one ages ago when it was in its original location, but no luck at that stage. Heading home from Sunny Corner today with Misscricklewood, and stopped in for a couple of pies. We decided to check the status of this one and found its location had changed. A quick search had CIH. Please forgive our dodgy signing attempt, bit of a pen malfunction

Yes, as I have mentioned, the cache is harder to retrieve. This is a mean, hardcore city cache, not some lunch box under a tree in a park! This cache has been molested numerous times, and has had to steel itself against further attacks!
I also believe the resident that shares the caches' home may be making things harder lol
I checked the cache today, and with a jiggle and pull upwards, it is retrievable.

Having some lunch under the figs with my Gpskyp, thought we'd have a quick look at the app to see if anything was nearby... only 50m away! Looked thoroughly but no luck. Checked pics from previous finds, we should have been right on top of it, but nothing
Ok, so I have upgraded the suspension system and the cache is back in place ready to go. The cache is harder to retrieve, so small hands, tippy toes, and maybe a pair of tweezers or a stick will help the process.

I decided to adjust my cache set up, and had a temporary device in place, but it has been tampered with... I think i know who the culprit is! If you read the logs back on the 20/7/14, you'll should be able to figure it out.

Will hopefully be back up again this week
P.s. Sorry to the cacher I met who was in the process of looking for this one... Nice to meet you

Cache is accessible again. Someone had pushed it in way too deep, I'm not even sure how as a hand won't fit in that far. Please respect the cache
30-Sep-14
Made a midnight run to replace the cache, away from inquisitive eyes.
Same co-ords, new fat silver bison with fresh log waiting to be signed.
Please leave the cache as you found it... You may need to carefully jiggle it a little to get it back into it's home properly.

Out for some 4x4 exploring in a new area for us. Bit of a rushed recon mission, will be back again to check it out properly.

Found with my Gpskyp
It's definitely more about the hike than the cache on these type of hunts. Gpskyp and I did Ahearn's the week before, and were keen to explore some more of this wonderful area.
We saw so many wonderful rock formations, flora and fauna, and marvelled at the effort it must have taken to transports Emmett's stove, and concrete sink, into the valley.
After a constant downhill trek into the valley, I think I was mentally prepared for the climb back to the top, and enjoyed the slog.
Thanks for this wonderful caching experience

Felt so good to finally grab this one. As my Gpskyp has already mentioned, this was our third attempt at this one. Each failed attempt still took us on an amazing walk, but this was the best of the three. Such wonderful views, and reading the inscription on Ahearn's plaque struck a familiar chord. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.
Grabbed this one on the way home from an awesome walk to Ahearn's lookout with my beautiful Gpskyp. I knew this type of cache existed, but this is the first I've found... Loved it

As I walked up to the hide, I managed to put my hand straight on this one... Probably one of my quicker dkmacca finds lol
As I was rolling up the log to replace in the cache, what I thought was a muggle came strolling along the path, and I did my best to look casual lol Turned out to be another cacher, from Griffith! Nice to meet you person who I forgot to ask their name... lol
Hope James is still out and about caching

Ok, cache was missing again, have replaced once more. Not sure if they are being muggled or mishandled and lost, but if it goes again I may have to move it.
