The log in this cache is so wet it is unable to be used anymore. I added a small roll of paper to act as a log for now. Perhaps need a small zip lock bag to house the log to protect it from the wet. TFTC
Was busted by fellow cachers looking for this one. Nice to see like minded people on the job. Cache was quickly in hand. TFTC

I am the second seeker to be told by the land owner where this cache is located that the area is private property! I got to within a few metres of ground zero, did not cross the bridge, and was busted by owner. I told him I was lost and looking for a way to pinnacle from forest rd. He told me that I was on private property and he was sick of people coming this far up. I pointed out the sign on the bridge saying No Tresspassing! which I had not approached and he said the property begins further back near the turn off and he intends to place a sign closer to the road. I think Emant, as the first finder may well be the last unless you get lucky and find the property owner not home. I would not advise trying this one as the property owner's patience may be running out!

Actually found this one last Sunday (27th) while riding this way but was unable to log the find as the pencil mentioned in the description was not there. But that allowed me to return today with the kids after school and make use of the playground for a while. My son uses this park quite regularly with his mates and loves the large trees and the endless exploring they provide. Thanks for placing a cache in such a kid friendly place.

Nice to see a new cache in this park. The archived "Guns and Roses' that was previously in Cook Park was one of my favourites. This one proved to be quite easy in the end if you just follow the clues. I do enjoy a cache that requires searching for clues as well as the container. TFTC

Could not find this one. Searched for a good while but just could not lay my hands on it. Another time.
Found It! Last time it was a DNF but this time we made no mistake. One problem was that with both of the GPS devices we tried to find this one they were telling us to go a further 10 meters (which would put us in someones back yard) through the fence! Can't believe we did not locate it last time, it must have been inches from my nose on the last search. Oh well at least we win today. TFTC

The GPS took me to the fruit bowl (the big one out the front) but my phone which I have found works really well with a caching app called "c:geo" took me directly to the find. This was a nice stop on the way back from camping at Burralow creek nearby. TFTC. I think the GPS may have been suffering after we tried to change the data format to try another cache (route 66).
Found this one easily on the way back from camping at Burralow Creek. There was a muggle in the car park having a break from driving but he was none the wiser we think. TFTC.

Found this one! Decided to make the trip from home on the mountain bike and found it a really enjoyable ride. The mountain bike was just what I needed when I got close as the description suggests a 4WD will only get you so far. TFTC

Alas a DNF on this one. Will come back another day. This spot is popular with L platers for a bit of practice.
We came to this spot to camp at new year but it had been taken by some other campers and we had to camp in the main area. Today we had the chance to come back and make the find. TFTC
Another nice little nano. Didn't take too long to make the find and the kids enjoyed the lap around the mount. Also found a hat right at ground zero - does it belong to the last finders?

Had the chance today to do this one in the daylight and after reading the clues. Last time I visited this one was at night and I had not read the clue- I thus found myself wandering around in the dark about 15 mtrs from where I should have been. Not to worry this one proved to be a very easy find in the end for the geokids. TFTC
I drive past this cache on my way to work every day and thought it was about time I stopped in and made the find. The holidays and a trip with the geokids back from Lithgow and we had the perfect opportunity. Did not take long as the coords were spot on. TFTC

Found this one quite easily thanks to the pine cones. JABS must have just beaten me to it for the FTF! TFTC

Found this one on a break from work today. Nice to see it is getting some maintenance as the log book is very wet. Thanks for the cache!

I checked on this one as I was in the park and have found this one before. Way point 1,2&4 are all good but you may want to check on way point 3 after a few changes to the surrounds!

Had a look in the dark with no torch and no clues! Will have to come back in daylight or with a torch and will read the clues next time.
Found this one on another trip to Lithgow with the kids. Can't believe I used to ride my pushbike along this road with all the highway traffic when I was a kid. TFTC
Found this one with the kids. There was a bloke wipper snippering very close to GZ. Had to wait a while. TFTC
Yes! finally found it. This is a good hide. Found while taking the kids to Lithgow. We had some time and decided to give this one another go. Just enough time between walking muggles to make the find. We also found the remains of a stolen wallet or two at GZ - lots of credit cards etc. so we did the good thing and took them to the Police. Hope whoever stole these things got nothing out of it! TFTC

An easy find on a great day. Plenty of Muggles around but they were none the wiser TFTC

An easy find on one of our regular trips to the top of this mount. Thanks for the Cache!
14-Apr-10
Not a soul in sight today and we were able to make a surprisingly quick find. We had done another exactly the same as this hide before so it was all over pretty quickly. TFTC
Last find today in a list for the Lithgow area. I grew up in this area and spent my days riding my bike all over this site. Great to return with my kids and show them around. Hide was found by geokids after a few minutes searching. TFTC
Found this one after a short search. Have found a couple of others like this and enjoy these type of hides. TFTC. I remember as a child (grew up in Lithgow) a truck losing its brakes coming down the Scenic and swerving into the POW site to try and stop but continuing past this point into the trees and over the edge of the cliff. it then landed on the road below. Luckily there was no traffic under it! You can still just make out where it went through the trees.
