We travelled through the Hut Valley at this day, looking for LotR locations. In the beginning we looked for this cache on the “wrong site“, but finally we found it, pretty obvious but good hiding spot. We really enjoyed the blackberries. Thanks for showing us this place! 

Nice park. We had to wait for one of these LOTR-tours, but after they left easy find.

What a nice day, visited a few if the LotR locations in the valley. Initially we looked at the wrong place because the GPS signal was really bad. We enjoyed down there a nice lunch break and found on our way back the right track. At the right spot the cache was easy to find.

Pretty cool spot for some easy climbing with good views. But take care of seals, there were some near the cache.

What a climb. Started in the morning at Sabine Hut, pretty steep up to Angelus Hut. But awesome views!
Then I decided to try Angelus Peak, weather was good enough. I struggled a little bit with my fear of height but finally I made it. Really nice summit. Cache was a quick find. A little bit wet but logbook still in good condition.
Way down was surprisingly easier than the way up. Totally worth it!

After this we took a quick bath in the cold sea. Nice finish for an awesome weekend.

My first day in Nelson and I really enjoyed the views from up there. Nice weather too. Cache took a while but finally I saw the container. Found my first Multi!

I stopped there to take a picture of the beautiful rainbow that was over the country at that moment.
It looked like a good place for a cache and after the Stray people, who rested there, left the viewing point I could look for it. It was easy to find in the end. Thanks for hiding!

Indead a nice place for a cache but unfortunately box was laying open in hiding spot, full of water. I removed the water and tried to put it back in place properly.

Nice bush walk, I like caches like this, adventurous, show you nice historical place you normally wouldn't see. Took me a while but if you stand at the right place it is easy.

Obviously I am not long enough a geocacher yet... looked immediately at the right place but it took me a while for the second step. Good hiding place and interesting to see this old machinery in a forest and to imagine how it looked before.
