Logs for sige

14-Apr-11
Were I thought it will be, was nothing. There were too much muggles near the hospital to look more intensive.

Looked for this location because it was near our hostel (Globe Backpackers City Oasis Perth), which we can not recommend - very unfriendly staff, luggage was stolen. After founding Prince Lane there was no GPS device necessary to find.

13-Apr-11
Nice that there is a TB-Box near the city of Perth.

11-Apr-11
Thanx to little hint by Team Richlink we got it in the second run. The location was near to our hostel Rainbow, otherwise it wouldn't be a very interesting place for us.

10-Apr-11
We found this very interesting place, where you can see the skyline of Perth, after participating at the Buddha's Birthday & Multicultural Festival 2011 at Supreme Court Gardens. TFTC

we met here the team Richlink and got a lot of infos from real local insiders. Also this found is their intensive seeking. The rate for difficulty is much to small.

No nice street

06-Apr-11
We visited Litchfield National Park, but there was a lot closed here and there were a lot of holes and flooding of Litchfield road. We could only swim in upper cascade river. Wonderful Wangi waterfall and the walk around the falls was reachable, but no swimming and further walking allowed because of crocs.

05-Apr-11
Just a drive in on our way to the crocodile show on Adelaide river. The traditional show near Adelaide river bridge was closed because of flooding, there we took the show which was reachable direct from the cache location - it was worth to see.
The street to Kakadu National Park was not passable for our 2WD-car after Adelaide bridge.

On our way from Betrice Visitor Center to Litchfield National Park. What we found was brown and silver...

The last 300m to the cache location were closed because a big croc is staying there. We could not reach the cache location, but it was very interesting to go by car (no passing for walkers) across the dam - a lot of birds in the morning, the flooding was only 30 cm.

29-Mar-11
After staying in interesting NSW Art Museum of Sydney for a while we went through Hyde Park to the Barraks. TFTC

28-Mar-11
This was our last found in New Zealand during the night before departure near the hostel. Within 14 days here we had no oportunity to see a Kiwi live, thanx for the nice statue here. The first time when we went this street to the harbour we didn't see the statues, therefore thank you for showing.

Thanx to the spoilerphoto ("300th cache") - after some wrong places this was the hint for the right position. Very interesting place even during night here in Aukland / NZ. TFTC

27-Mar-11
It took 2 starts for reaching this interesting geothermal point in famous Roturoa/NZ. Questions will be answered soon.

25-Mar-11
I went here in the morning from central railway station via parliament and expected to see the cable car from the way up there. But the cable car was hidden very well, thank you for showing. NT

24-Mar-11
This nano was in front of our hostel in Wellington, therefore a must in the night here. Thanx for showing also Ghandi here, whom I had not expected in the capital of New Zealand.

23-Mar-11
Very interesting heritage place - we visited it in the morning and used the place for breakfast on our trip from Queenstown to Christchurch. TFTC, NT

22-Mar-11
Quick found in Twizel, cachemobil stood the night nearby. TFTC

We had a beautiful view here to the lake on our tour from Westcoast to Queenstown but not much time to find.

21-Mar-11
Our second cache in NZ at a name with is very familiar in AUSTRIA. Very good weather, we were the last this evening at the lookout. Answers will follow soon.

This was our first found in New Zealand. It was close the place in Hokitika (West Coast) where the cachemobile was parked for the night. It is a very nice neighbour behind the fence and a interesting cachebox there, but all in all it is no good place for a cache.

18-Mar-11
Was there after the memorial event without GPS-device - looked around for 30 minutes without hit. TFTC

17-Mar-11
There was no fence and only yellow grass left from the buildings.

13-Mar-11
After a foggy morning it was a very nice day at great ocean road. Question will be answered soon.

10-Mar-11
We looked direct from our window of the hostel to the cache here in Adelaide.

05-Mar-11
Didn't find on our long tour through the (this year green) outback from Alice Springs to Olgas, Uluru, Kings Canyon and Adelaide. Couldn't understand the hint, but visiting the oasis, buying fuel and looking at the emus was great.

We made the big round here at Kata Tjuta, even it was very hot. The district here is unforgetable.

Quick found on our long tour through the (this year green) outback from Alice Springs to Olgas, Uluru, Kings Canyon and Adelaide. Great view. Put a nylon around because container is broken. TFTC

01-Mar-11
Found the oval near bowling place, found the tree, but not the micro.

We walked 3 sides of the block until we found the entrance to the park. Then it was easy to find.

Nice park in Whitehorse/Melbourne, thank you for showing.

27-Feb-11
We were looking in the night for some time- there was nothing.

It is amazing what a big container can be hidden in the middle of Melbourne. Thank you for the hints because GPS-Signal is not very helpful here.

26-Feb-11
It is our first cache in Melbourne, quick found in the rain.

24-Feb-11
We climbed the highest mountain of Australia from Charlottepass (1.850 m) on a wonderful day. Even finding the cache was very quick, because of new container (now size 3) and photo - thanks for changing. The container was nearly 30m away from the plague. Nice that there is a container additionelly to the earthcache. It would be interesting to go back via grand range, but we had not enough time. A lot of children climbed from Thredbo ski resort.

We climbed the highest mountain of Australia from Charlottepass (1.850 m) on a wonderful day. It would be interesting to go back via grand range, but we had not enough time. A lot of children climbed from Thredbo ski resort. On our GPS-device (Nokia-Handy) we tested a new application the first time and it stopped at 2.247 m.

22-Feb-11
We reached this very interesting highest blowhole of the world (60 m) by campercar from Sydney on our tour to Canberra and Melbourne. Because of raining sometimes it took us a while until we decided to climb there, but it is worth.

There was a look on the logs necessary for finding this cache and have the marvellous cache view. Thanks for hiding here and for the historical facts.

First we came here by the free Sydney guided tour, at the evening after reading the logs it was a quick found using the cue. Very interesting place! TFTC

17-Feb-11
Thank you for showing us Chinatown in Sydney. We stayed the night at Sydney Backbackers nearby, a hostel we cannot recommend (dirty)

14-Feb-11
We went by bus from Brisbane to Hervey Bay. There we had to notice that the pasenger ferry doesn't work anymore. We had to hitchhike to Riverheads. There we took the barge and trekked to interesting Central station (9 km) and than by great walk to Basin Lake and then Lake McKenzie (6,5 km). TFTC

13-Feb-11
While we were waiting for the barge to Fraserisland there was time enough to find the cache. All ok after the big flood here.
