Swung by early after nabbing a puzzle nearby, the got on with helping to clean the place up. Great turnout and good to see (or not?) a huge pile of trash bags after everyone's efforts. Thanks for the CITO, pantspeople!

Solved this toughie ages ago, so as I was in the area on the way to a CITO, I decided to swing by and finally make the collect!Quick find that blends in quite well. GZ appears to be some sort of a '"meeting" spot judging by the evidence left behind Thanks for another one, DSD!

Swung by this one whilst out and about during Mega activities. Quick find at a classic hiding spot! Thanks for yet another, DSD!

Made the find with Happyfeet whilst at the CITO cleaning up the area with the hordes of Mega attendees Big GrinThanks for the hide Groot_1983!

Great to see the Mega in the nation's capital! Felt a bit strange not camping onsite like I usually do at Megas, but it was still good to catchup with the geobuddies!I was particularly impressed with the gadget caches. Congratulations Tankengine and StrangeTrousers for constructing such professionally made gadgets! Many thanks to the committee for their efforts in organising such a great event at this new park! Smile

Out and about with AngelG on a nice quiet public holiday Monday to grab a few caches. We both wanted to grab a multi so swung by this one. Took us a little to work out what was needed in the description as the text was a little messed up, but once that was sorted, we were off for the stroll to make the quick find.Interesting to learn about this spot and thanks for the hide, The Farmers 5!

Found with AngelG on a public holiday Monday mini mission around the area. Next on the agenda was this one. Always good to grab a Letterbox! Thanks for the hide, DSD! Smile

Plans were set in place with AngelG for a mini mission around the area on a quiet public holiday Monday. We wandered around the place visiting the virtual locations whilst I added to the atmosphere on the adventure making creepy sounds! Big GrinOnce we died, found a red herring and back tracked, we worked out what we needed to do to find Tut's treasure! Great little hide! Thanks dty73 for the cache and the adventure - fave point! Out and about with the geobro, Goldfinger777 and the nephews on a mini mission to grab a few caches around the area. Made the climb up on a very warm morning and were rewarded with spectacular views once we reached the top!Fascinating to learn that this area once was a volcano! Goldfinger777 forwarded answers to CO.Many thanks for this interesting EC, SpatialRiq! Smile Fave point awarded!

Found with the geobro, Goldfinger777, and the nephews after visiting the spectacular Ancient Egypt exhibition in the museum - absolutely fascinating! After that, we decided to checkout the old paddle steamer. Several volunteers were on board and we were treated to a demonstration of the engine in action. It was absolutely roasting down in the engine room and I asked the guy operating the engine if he was frothing for an ice, cold beer and he absolutely was! lol The nephews also loved tooting the whistle as well.Bad, windswept photo of proof of visit attached to Goldfinger's log Big GrinThanks for the history lesson and demo at this wonderful old paddle steamer, Barb2e. Fave point for sure! Smile

FTF with AngelG27, EthisEthat, Pantspeople, TikvaNZ and ZQX.Getting the green light on this one was certainly a case of divide and conquer amongst the team, although we had a double up on assigned tasks and the particular "green light" cache was next on my list! So today the team assembled bright and early for the assault on GZ. Wasn't an easy stroll to get there and I seem to recognise the "item" from a few weeks ago lol Good effort getting that there! Thanks for the cache DSD! And thank you for your amazing contributions to the caching community! Fave point!

AngelG27 and I hatched a plan to nab this one today as it was going to be a fine day to get the bikes out and go for the ride SmileIt's been ages since I've cycled anywhere and I loved the ride - mostly level bike paths with just a little bit of huff and puff in sections, and lovely scenery with the Molonglo flowing and sparkling near the pine forest. So with all the waypoint info collected and the maths eventually sorted out, off we went on the bikes to GZ. Cache found after a few moments of searching.Nice little reward after the exercise and thanks to AngelG27 for the company! Thanks for the cool multi, TikvaNZ - fave from me Smile

Swung by this one whilst on a caching bike ride with AngelG27 SmileWe wandered around looking at a few options before I focus my attention on one in particular and spied the cache straight away - Literally in line with the hint Wink Great little cache so a fave from me!Thanks for the fun, dty73 Smile

30-Sep-23
Found on the stroll around the hill with AngelG27. Quick find at GZ and thankfully, no danger noodle cache guardians near GZ (that we saw at least!) like the previous find! Thanks for the hide, herca Smile

Sorted this one out on the fly with AngelG27. After checking our numbers with a previous finder, off we went to GZ where AngelG27 spied the hide.I went up and did the honours and it was a team effort with signing the log and replacement! Didn't want to lose the position I was in!Thanks for the hide, Marmaduke Rothschild Smile

Spur of the moment CITO for me here! AngelG27 let me know this one was on so I swung by to help clean things up! Wandered around with AngelG27 and TikvaNZ to fill up our trash bag full of stuff.Good to see everyone's efforts resulted in a decent haul of trash removed from the environment!I was a spectator at the end watching the 'kick off'! Thanks for the fun CITO, pantspeople Smile

After finding another nearby with a couple of the geochaps, AngelG27 and I returned to the hill to find a few more.Went for the stroll on the track then up I went to make the find....eventually!Took quite a bit of searching as the coords are about 15m out to the south west, and there are so many possibilities at this spot!Be very careful though...I came across this very healthy Eastern Brown snake while searching with a bonus echidna also in residence under the rock! Thanks for the hide, ALL7!

Haven't caches in several months so it was so good to get out on such a sparkling day and grab a few caches SmileMet up with AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX and off we went to WP1. Team effort here and I love the 'twist' to the custom made puzzle.I had an inkling were WP2 was even before we solved the puzzle as I heard about the spot a few years ago. Anyway, off we went and yep... I was right! Quick calc at that spot and off we went for the stroll and made the quick find there!Giving a fave for this one - I spent many hours at the school library reading every single one of Tin Tin's books and every now and again I'll revisit his adventures! Thanks for the fun, TE! Smile

My colleague and I had an errand to run at another lab on campus, so we decided to swing by this one on the walk and have a go.

My colleague is a complete geo-newbie but she eagerly got in there to help with the search. We were hesitant to examine a few potential hosts so checked out other spots, but had to get going back to the lab. Back there, I had a brainwave and shared it with my colleague so we were definitely excited to give it another go to test my theory!

Swung by on the way to the other lab again and put our initial hesitation aside and lo and behold, my colleague quickly spied the handy identifying marks which confirmed my theory and led the way to the cleverly hidden cache! Fave point for sure!

Thanks for the fun, Flintstone's! Big Grin
